The Change Part One He let out a chuckle, excitement twinkling in his crystal, blue eyes. His prey tonight had fight, which only boosted the pleasure when he finally sunk his fangs in. He finally gave chase to the young girl, easily running through the trees. The moonlight shone bright that night, allowing for perfect sight. Not that he needed it, for he had perfect sight, be it day or night. He felt the energy course through his body, a smirk curving the edges of his lips.
As he reached the edge wall of the city Braekon, he found his prey looking around as she tried to think a way out. But pity for her, one side held the wall around the castle and the other the river of Gyrath. He slowly strode over to her, enjoying every second he could witness her terror. Her big, green eyes, twin emeralds, stared upon him in utter fear. Even the tremble of her body brought to him a sliver of joy. He found himself only feet away from her, she tried to step back. But, she only found herself with her back p
The Change Part TwoBut he could not bring himself to drain her. Just something about her seemed to pull at his heart a little, well...one long dead. Eldritch removed his fangs from her neck, licking the two marks of the excess blood. The wounds had healed beneath his tongue. He lifted her frail, limp body into his arms, brushing the black locks away from her beautiful face. He found himself fascinated by the fact he hadn't killed her, due to the fact he hated humans. Their weak bodies disgusted him, but hers was anything but. Although he enjoyed her fear, there was something else he felt, he couldn't quite put a name to it yet. He shook his head, clearing his mind of thought. No, he just had to get away from here before the guards of Braekon found him. They would most likely see the monster in him, and use their magic to burn him. Since, after all, his skin was highly flammable. The Change Part Two2 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
He proceeded to carry the young girl through the forest, mindful of the faint light at the edge of the sky that warned him of s

I awoke, feeling somebody holding me. I opened my eyes slowly and saw someone, their head rested on my shoulder. I also saw I was in a completely different house, on a large sofa. I tried to move but they held me in a matter so that I couldn't move, but not that I could do much if I could, I was so weak from blood loss I was surprised I was even awake or could move at all. I knew he felt my attempt to move, because he moved his head from my shoulder, until his gaze was locked with mine.
His hair was a raven black, and his skin was a porcelain white, but his eyes .his eyes, they were a spring green, exactly like that of the cat's. Oh no I squirmed as my eyes widened in fear, scared that he might bite me again. But he held me tightly, and leaned to my ear, whispering softly "Shh Calm down " His voice was soothing and smooth, like velvet. I relaxed in his grip and he moved back to meet my gaze, a smile playing at his lips. "Good girl "He said, then kissed my cheek

Why do I have to watch her silly cat? I sighed, this was going to be a boring summer. I had just celebrated my birthday a week ago, I turned sixteen, and my Aunt had come to visit. She told me she was going to Europe for several weeks, and I was to watch her "special" cat for her. I got out of my little red Toyota Corolla and walked up to my Aunts cabin style house. The cobblestone path that led to her house made a loud sound under my feet as I walked to the door.
I took out the small silver key that she gave me and unlocked the door, hearing the soft click it made. Once I was inside I found a note on the coatrack that was to the right of the door. I knew it was for me, seeing that it had my name on it.
Dear Atheira Vhlakis,
Here are you instructions for the job that I have requested of you.
You are not to touch the cat, let it out or pay it any attention other
than feeding it and such. The food is in the cabinet under the stove.
The cat is located i
The Change Part ThreeHe awoke to the coolness of night, sitting up in his large bed. A small thought pulled at the back of his mind, but he couldn't quite remember it. He swung his feet over the edge of his bed, jumping off onto his feet. After exiting the room the thought rose to the surface of his mine. The girl...After hurriedly rushing to the room and jumping into the "cellar" through the hidden door, he strode to the door of her cell. He knew she wouldn't be able to see him, even though he could see her clear as day. As he stopped in front of the metal caging, he saw her crumpled form on the ground. To a human, it might of looked as if she was asleep. But he could tell she was just too weak to wan't to move. The Change Part Three2 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
He retrieved the metal keys and unlocked the door, leaving them in the hole as he walked in. He studied her slim figure, noticing she appeared underfed. He blinked, wondering why he cared. She's just a human, he thought, her problems don't matter. He moved over and scooped her into his arms, notic

I woke up, still in his arms. I gently tried to pull out of them, so not to wake him. Once I had wiggled out of them, I got up and quietly left the room. I really needed to get out of here. I found my way to the Iron door, that I knew must lead to outside. I put my hand on the cold metal handle and pulled to try to open it.
I heard a high-pitched beep from behind me, which soon followed with a pain in my shoulder. I looked over and saw a dart stuck into my shoulder, and I felt my knees shake. Cold spread through my body as my legs gave out and I fell to the floor. I felt drowsiness overwhelm me, as I passed out.
I woke up and opened my eyes to him holding me. He looked alittle upset, as he stared down at me. I felt a slight tinge of fear. He sighed and said "You shouldn't try to escape. You know even if you get out, you'll just get caught by me later." I gulped and shakily said to him, "I'm going to die anyway, it's at least worth a try to escape. I don't want to

I woke up in Zerek's bed, feeling pretty much recovered besides alittle weak and my ribs hurt. I peeled open my eyes and glanced around, looking for any sign of Zerek though I found none. I sat up and stretched, feeling my bones crack as I did so. I swung my feet down from the bed and stood up.
I walked to the door and put my hand the doorknob feeling the cold metal beneath my fingers, and opened the door. I entered the living room and looked around, noticing I was in utter darkness. I felt around for the light switch and turned the lights on, my eyes stinging at the sudden light. After a moment, a small wooden door caught my attention, as it was directly across the room from the large iron one.
I reached for the silver-colored handle to the door and twisted it open, revealing a set of stairs that led downward to darkness. I flicked the lights on and walked downward, leaving the door open. I found myself in a strange room, with four doors leading to different rooms, most likely, and pa

The next time I awoke, I opened my eyes to see him not there. I sat up against the couch, sighing. I swung my feet down and shakily tried to stand. My knees shook and almost gave up, but I managed to stay up. I walked towards a door and opened it, finding a kitchen in that room. I dug around until I found some of the liquid substance he had been feeding me. I drank some of that, and then made sure to drink some water, not sure if he would feed me regularly.
I yawned and walked back out the door to the room I came from, before being pushed against the wall. I let out a small gasp and looked up, seeing the man from before, pressing me to the wall. His eyes had a slight tinge of red to them, and when I met his gaze he grinned. I tried to squirm away but he had me trapped. I gulped, and then said shakily "What are you doing ?" His grin grew wider as he leaned forward to whisper in my ear "I'm hungry again, little human " I could feel myself start to shake.

A tinge of blush seeped to my cheeks, as I looked into his eyes. They were like two sparkling emeralds. He was smiling at me, and without thinking I blurted, "Your eyes are beautiful " and I blushed more, looking away from his gaze.I felt his lips against my cheek, then his breathing on my ear as he moved his lips to them. "They aren't supposed to be like that, though. When your aunt is it? When she turned me into a cat, they went back to their natural color. They were gray." My eyes had widened. What ? My aunt had what?
As if sensing my confusion, he said, "Oh, I thought you knew Your aunt is a witch. She transformed me into a cat to keep me from killing, as she didn't want to kill me. But as you know, that didn't work out so well." He pulled back and as I looked at him, I could see the smirk on his face.
I was about to ask him why he was smiling, when he added, "But it's all because of you that it didn't work out. I really should thank you, little human." I felt h

I woke up weakly opening my eyes. I sat up in the bed I was in and rubbed my head, when I heard a clinking metallic sound. I looked to the side to see my attacker, chained to the wall with his hands behind his back. He glared at me with hate. The door flung open and I saw Zerek approach me, concern on his face.
He went to me and grabbed me into his arms, holding me tightly. "Are you okay ?" he asked me. I looked to him and whispered, "Yes, I think " He smiled and stroked my hair softly. "So what happened please tell me," he said, as he looked into my eyes. I felt my throat go dry. I can't tell him, I can't. I closed my eyes, not answering him.
He shook me lightly "Are you alright?" he asked, looking at me. I heard the guy, chained to the wall, clear his throat. "Brother " he said, trying the get the attention of Zerek. Zerek looked over and glared at him "Shut up Zachary! I don't need any of your nonsense right now," said Zerek. His brother chuckled darkly, sen

But never in the light,
Watching, waiting, for the right time ,
The victim they stalk, will get a very big shock ,
As their mouth opens wide,
two sharp bloodstained fangs hang either side ,
As their human like figure, alive looking , but so dead inside,
digs its teeth into your skin, dragging you into its arms so tight,
and sucks the blood from within ,
youre getting weaker, it is getting stronger, your life is getting shorter,
you close your eyes, never to see that creature again until you arise.

you truly ought to know.
So think of this-before we kiss...
...under the mistletoe.
You think it's about romance,
but I just need some lunch.
I smell your blood-in dismal flood...
...so please go drink some punch.
It's best if you avoid me,
no matter what I say.
Your mortal bliss-you'll surely miss...
...if we take things my way.
I'm functioning on empty,
and kinda like a car.
So low on fumes-I live in tombs...
...if you should flee, run far.
This party's for the festive,
I lean towards mad-macabre.
I lurk in screens-and piercing screams...
...necrosis is my job.
I'd tell you all I'm thinking,
but you're already dead.
You chose my mouth-your heart went South...
...and now I have been fed.
