Stuck, Bored, and Need a Face.A continuation of 'Stuck, Bored, and Don't Know Who I Am'.
I am... I was one of the Light People. But that is the past. Here, in the Dark, even though I have no name, I know who I am and who I was, and who I can be. Unlike the Light, which lives through conformity and ignorance, the Dark encourages individuality, although it can't be seen. The Dark People all blend in with the pitch-‐ black background, so we have to describe our individuality. I myself imagine myself as being big, around seven feet tall. Just think about the superheroes with muscles but then give it a nice sleek look and you have my body's description down. For my head, I wanted to have that sleek, masculine look, but I also wanted to have a touch of femininity. Girls look at that kind of thing. The ones I like anyway. I spent a really long time thinking about it. I searched my brain, looking through all the old stories from Outside. Bison horns? No. Wolf fangs? No. Octopus tentacles? Definitely not, for so many

through ancient rocky caverns old.
Through carved halls and dungeons deep,
My home, where now a dragon sleeps.
My kingdom, taken from my hands,
It slumbers under mountain lands.
I promise kin their home reclaimed
from powerful lizards and horrors unnamed.
Once more, the gifts are dwarven gold,
Our wills unbent, we'll never fold!
Of joyous hymns, dwarf voices ring,
When Erebor regains a Dwarven King.

"Good evening miss."
Claire turned around to face the voice. She had been so caught up in the festivities around her that she hadn't noticed anyone behind her. After all, there was so much to see! The entire ballroom was packed full of lavish party guests. Buffet tables lined the walls and men danced with their ladies in the middle of the room with elegance and grace. The overhead glass roof exposed the glowing full moon to the party guests and the stars twinkled madly like morning dew in the early morning. The English countryside stood before them in all its splendor just outside of the castle walls. Claire had been entranced with the sights since she had walked in…but now the sights had begun to grow boring and the brilliant lights and colors dimmed slightly. The surprise of the voice behind her had brightened her spirits a little.
The one who had spoken took her by surprise. He was a tall young man with black hair and deep brown eyes. He had on a finely tailored suit. A black jacket

Glass shattering in my bloodstream
Distance and indifference
Bleeding through the wallpaper
As I bend silver hair clips into geometric nonsense
Your fingerprints indelible on my jawline
"I was never"
The taste of ammunition
"Angry at you."
As raw broken bones
Fractured clear through the marrow.

To tell you who you are
So you might know yourself
In the eyes of your other
Love is lonely when you're alone
when your other has gone
to a place where you can't follow
You have been left behind
Love is lonely in a group
from who none has whispered
sweet nothings into your ears
that echo inside your skull
Love is lonely
if there is nobody
who cares to share
their love with you

but you never started in the first place,
and I walked up and fell face
first for you.
if it’s a game of independence I’m playing strong
but everybody knows I’m wrong,
I don’t belong
alone in a twin bed.
I fell in love
you turned me on and down and off,
you pushed me out,
and away, I’m okay with or without
you, but I begged you to stay.
you’re a shiver on my skin,
you’re that sneaky voice within
my bones, telling me to stop, telling me to go.
and I’ll leave but we both know
that we’ll both be back here
Poem for two.You draw a smile across my face, like a child on her first day of school, anxious to impress. You make me happy.Poem for two.2 years ago in Urban & Spoken Word More Like This
Your eyes are crystals of perfection, covered in sparkles of delight, born from inspiration that the universe gets from your existence. You are beautiful.
You dress me in happiness, you make my skin glow through the fabric, with the undeniable love I have for your soul. You suit me.
You make my heart beat to the sound of your own; it forms a vibration that the sun, sky, and the entire earth can dance to in their sleep. You make me smile.
You play my skin like a flesh-bound piano, you hit notes of ecstasy with your fingertips, you make a song with your infectious rhythm, you reach a crescendo with your smell. You sound magnificent.
You scratch your passion into my back, you form a trail of lust down my spine, you dig your nails into my flesh, and bleed out all the sorrow from my veins. You do me good.
You take my heart in between you

That one name was always knocking around in your head. You didn't even know whose it was, it just was there. You shake you head trying to clear it but there it was.
Find him. Stop him.
"Stop who?" you call out, slamming you head onto your paper covered desk.
You scream, annoyed at the voices in your head.
"Who the Hell is that?" you shout, wishing for an answer. Of course, this time, there was no answer. You groan, looking up to see that you had a spectator.
"Can I help you?" you snap, startling the dark haired man in front of you.
"Lord Death wants you to meet him." he says quietly, blushing lightly.
You sigh. You should have expected this. Lord Death visited the women in your family when he needed to know something.
"Alright. Where is he?" you get up and begin grabbing the things

That just screamed “Save me!”
If you could only just scream out to.
Everyone to save you from.
There are just so many to save you
From. How I wish I could help.
I tried to look in your eyes and say to you
“Trust me! I can’t stand watching you hate it!
I could never stand watching you hate me!”
But your eyes went blank; I could see how
You stopped to look, no longer searching,
And you glared at me, knowing that I couldn’t
Look at you.
Broken, you watch as my heart is broken,
With a blank face and screaming eyes.
Painful words slither out of your mouth’s
Barely open like the tears that wanted to
Stream down your face, while you scream
Out your hate for the world, instead you
Mutter your hate for me, and I scream instead.
Broken pleas are all I can hear.
What Is Missed When It's GoneMary sat in the chair that was in the corner next to the magazines, though she didn’t pick one up to read. She was dressed in a simple pair of jeans with a plain red V-neck. She pulled at a loose string on her shirt, trying to find something to concentrate her mind on. She felt as if the pit in her stomach was growing bigger and pulling at her heart. She kept having to remind herself to breathe; in and out, in and out. After a few minutes of messing with the string, she gave up and looked around the room. There was a couple with their young son, and elderly woman, and a middle-aged woman. The little boy ran around the room with toys and books exclaiming, “Mommy, look at this,” every few minutes. The woman sat quietly reading a magazine, and glanced up with an annoyed look on her face every time the boy shrieked with excitement. The elderly woman sat alone with her purse on her lap while she dug through it. The chair next to her now contained a pile of pill bottles. What You Deserve"I've just... never known what it feels like," She said this more to herself than me, it was almost as if saying it aloud made it real. "I, never thought that it could or would happen to me, I've always thought that being in love meant you did the best for the other person, making sure they were okay, forgetting about yourself and-" She caught herself mid sentence snapping her eyes back to me with such precision, almost infantile in some ways, and to think that she was the eldest of the two of us, and yet, she hadn't experienced it herself in the ways that I had and still was, "but, it's not like that at all, I was... so, blind". She pulled up another tuft of grass and added it to the pile in between us.What You Deserve2 years ago in Short Stories More Like This

You didn't hear a word from me unless it was needed.
I stood back and took but ignored insults and bullying.
My belief was that at some point it would all go away.
But life has taught me that bullies just get replaced.
Be it by people, objects or fears; they will always be around.
But I have changed.
I have grown.
And I won't allow anyone or nothing to break me.
I will stand and defend my ground.

And I'll barely return your hopeful glances

And I'm glad you finally understand this

“Your mom and I go way back.” Myria said. “She called in a favour, and I couldn’t help but accept.” Myra smiled widely, her eyes going from Janet to me.
Her gaze was… Peircing. It felt like she was looking into the entirety of my soul and… calculating me. And, really? I wouldn’t be surprised if sh

Saturday NightI don't know where I amSaturday Night2 years ago in Traditional Fixed Forms More Like This
And the music is too loud
There are far too many strangers
In this drunk mess of a crowd
Anywhere I look
There is some strange guy giving strange looks
And my head is spinning round
As if it's nowhere to be found
But it's Saturday night and everyone's here
Drinking pints of foul tasting beer
Because we need this to have fun
Because right now we have no fear
So drink away the worries
And don't care about the money
Get it down, we're in a hurry
To lose control
We're far too intoxicated
To care what they think
So let's talk a bit more loudly
And go buy another drink
We say it's only for tonight
But we know that's a lie
But I won't tell if you won't
Let's pretend that we're alright
I see the classy girl from my year
Puking up her dignity
And the guy that everyone likes
All these people aren't so pretty
When the alcohol kicks in
So why do we let this happen?
What a strange world we live in

Let's stare into empty space
Let's play a mind game
Let's go into the depths of our brains,
and erase what keeps us sane
Let's break past the barriers
Let's push back the pain
Let's explore the unspoken sins,
forget the blood that binds us to our kin
Let's become numb
Let's dull the emotions from within
Why don't we, just for a moment,
forget everything, let our frustrations vent
Why don't we, for the time being
ignore the suffering, just focus on breathing
Let's wipe the dirt off the floor,
even the unfair score
Let's turn the handle
Let's not just stare at the door
Let's throw away misery,
make ourselves feel free
Yes, let's, play a mind game,
and seep into insanity

that we all have a little bit of stardust in us.
It reminds me, that I can in fact love someone for who they are, all their words, and all of ones grins and laughs, and French.
How you always say, there is a little bit of worm in you, and look at that in your brain, what used to be a fly is floating in there. You say that with enthusiasm, like there was something good in that.
