It was six o'clock in the morning. The Seventh Heaven Bar was silent. Tifa came downstairs after she had finished getting ready. She gazed out the glass front doors. No one was out on the streets yet, although there were a few cars that passed once in a while. She loved waking up early. It was always so quiet and she could set up the bar without any distractions.
As she was setting up, she thought about Cloud. She wished that he would stay here more often. Her feelings for him were very strong. Every time he was gone, she had this pain in her chest, as if something had been taken away from her; like something was stolen and never returned. But regardless of her feelings, she still couldn't admit it. She hated to show her emotions- she saw it as a weakness.
Just then, Denzel came soundlessly down the stairs.
Tifa turned around and said, "Denzel? What's wrong, sweetheart?" She knelt down so that she was at eye level with him.
Denzel stared at

For the next few days, Cloud didn't pull any romantic stuff on Tifa again. He was just like before: quiet, distant, and arrogant. Very arrogant. Except,Tifa did notice something that was different. When she was tending the bar, he was very protective of her. Whenever some guys gave her looks or tried to sweet talk her, Cloud would tense up and watch very closely. Then when they stopped or gave up, Cloud would relax and fold his arms against his chest again. Tifa actually kind of liked it in a way. She felt protected. But at the same time, she knew he was uncomfortable. He hated the guys who came in here just to hit on Tifa.
At exactly six o'clock one day, one particular guy walked in the bar. He had firey red hair and creepy, roving eyes. Something just didn't feel right about him. Every time he caught Tifa's eye, he'd wink at her and smirk. It gave her chills.
The third time he came up to her he asked, "Hey, Sweets, why don't you get me a B

At about four o'clock, people started coming into the bar. Cloud and the two kids were upstairs. Tifa didn't want to be tending to the bar tonight; she wanted to spend time with Cloud.
As she was taking people's orders and preparing drinks, Cloud came downstairs and strode over to the front door. Tifa thought he was leaving again and grew panicky. But when he arrived at the front doors, he only switched the "open" sign to "closed". Gradually people started leaving until there was no one left. Tifa hurried and started cleaning up. Cloud quietly helped her.
As she was doing the dishes, she said to Cloud, "I… I'm glad you came. "
Cloud glanced up at her and said, "Yea. Me too."
She continued, "It always makes the children so happy when you're around."
His expression didn't change.
"They keep dreaming about you too," she said.
"Yeah, so I promised them you'd come. I'd glad you answered my call."

I know that you're hurting,
Please let this go,
Please know I'm falling,
Down into the lowest low
The one thing that you've always known
But never had the heart to show.
My eyes are drowning
And my heart is aching,
Please know that I'm aware,
I can't see this ending,
I can't understand a thing
My heart is weakening,
It's coming apart too fast
And I can't stand the fact
That it's not going to last,
I fear the ending has already past.
These hearts die beneath the sky
While these eyes drown under the tears,
Our minds cry, gazing through the window
And our tears blur what we should know,
So hold on and sit tight
We have to survive this dreary night,
Again like before I have to hold you
So I know you're safe and not alone,
Sing so I can hear you; shake so I can feel you
Just be there, so I can see you.
Cries sound from under the steam
Caused by tears from a heated mind,
Another night of aching eyes,
It's killing me enough to see you cry,
Why can't this be over
So we bo

Sephiroth stood over Cloud. He slammed his boot down on Cloud's wrist, making him cry out and drop his sword. "Is there anything you'd like to say before I crush you like an insect?" Sephiroth asked. His voice was deep and terrifying.
"Why are you doing this?" Cloud struggled.
Sephiroth smiled. "You know very well why." He held Masamune against Cloud's throat. Cloud felt the cold blade barely slice into his skin. He winced and stared up at Sephiroth. Pulling the blade away, Sephiroth wound back. "Have fun in the afterlife." He swung his sword and-
Cloud woke with a start. He sat up in bed, gasping, his hand on his throat. It was just a dream. He closed his eyes and tried to catch his breath. What if Sephiroth came back? What if he came after Tifa?
Cloud turned and looked over at Tifa. She was sound asleep, completely unaware of Cloud's sudden fear. No matter what he did, he always had ni
Malik's Honor-Altair's Life How long had he been standing there staring vacantly at the blank piece of parchment holding a now dry quill in his hand? Unable to sleep, and the moon now high over Jerusalem, Malik had decided to begin tomorrows work by making more maps for his fellow assassins. But his mind kept creeping back to that pathetic excuse for one of his kind sleeping in the main chamber of the assassin's bureau. The only thing Malik was grateful for that day was that Altair had retired quickly so he didn't have to make useless small talk with him. Not that he would have bothered trying to have a civilized conversation with Altair anyway. Even speaking business with him about the assassination plans for Talal still provoked too many raw emotions. Emotions stronger than the physical anguish he had endured when his arm had been amputated because of the severe injuries he received when he and Kadar were left to retrieve the Piece of Eden.Malik's Honor-Altair's Life5 years ago in Short Stories More Like This

What a harsh revelation,
what a feeling to abhor.
Slow and painful interment,
leading into utter discord.
Building anguish, silent torment,
look upon the one that's gone.
All that's taken, clawed away,
you were just another pawn.
Are you happy, are you sad?
Can you feel all that hate?
Sweet revenge as you stand,
beside the grave of this ingrate.
Fate played out the subtle game,
unknown who won in the end.
What does it matter anyway,
there's nothing left to contend.
As realization graces onto,
farewell what you once reserved.
It's time to breathe, to revel,
they've gotten what they deserved.
The Origin of Eyeless JackA young boy sat in the shade of a tree in his backyard. Not much could be said about him. He was a somewhat ordinary child with reddish brown hair and stunning hazel eyes. He had fallen asleep about an hour earlier while reading a book. Now his slim frame rested against the trunk of the large oak tree, his chest rising and falling as he breathed softly. A woman walked out the back door of the house that the yard belonged to and approached the boy. She smiled, placing her hand on his shoulder and shaking him gently. He opened his eyes a little and rubbed the left one with the back of his hand. His vision came back into focus and he saw the smiling face of his mother looking down at him as she said, in a sweet and kindly voice, “Jack, sweetheart, its time to get up.”The Origin of Eyeless Jack2 years ago in General Fiction More Like This

“About six o'clock, dear. Your dad will be home any minute.” she answered.

"GET OUT OF MY BUCKING WAY!"
On any other day, Twilight Sparkle would never have dared to shout so rudely at anypony, and she definitely would never, ever have used such coarse language. Today, however, wasn't any other day.
She couldn't remember how she had gotten to Canterlot, nor could she, for the life of her, feel any patience for the ponies in the crowded street. She needed to be at Canterlot General Hospital now, even if it meant barreling through every pony in Equestria. Luckily, most of the city's population knew her, either from her time as their Princess' personal student and protégé, or from the accolades she had received since then. Saving Equestria no less than three times doesn't exactly go unnoticed. Either way, the sight of the desperate, frantic, and somewhat well-

Cloud awoke early the next morning. He quickly showered and gathered up all his things. It was five am when he mounted his bike and rode out of town. He knew the way to Nibelheim by heart. His stomach jumped occasionally as he thought about his hometown. What if Sephiroth was there, waiting for him? Why did Reno want to meet in the Shinra mansion? Several unanswered questions ran through his head, worrying him.
He sighed, annoyed, trying to push the anxiety away. He thought about his beloved Tifa. He still couldn't believe that they were having a child together. It was amazing. Cloud smiled to himself and was instantly happier than before. He wondered if it was a boy or a girl. He would be happy either way. He couldn't wait.
Lately, Tifa's pregnancy was going fairly well. Aside from her morning sickness and frequent backaches, she was pretty happy. She wondered how long it would take before she started showing. She'd never done this before s

And I wouldn't cry
the ultraviolet tears of rage.
If this poem wasn't sad
I wouldn't have to hide in the fog
protecting me against my own fears.
If this poem wasn't sad
I would be able to fly
away with the childrens dreams
made of soursweet ice cream.
And if this poem wasn't sad
I would be Lucky.
It hurts bad
seeing that the world is bad.
And it feels strange
watching the strange humanity.
But it feels real
noticing that all's so surreal.
I dream of better days
when the world isn't just a fake,
because I don't want to be their puppet anymore.
But believing in it,
living the dream!
