The Babysitter (Part 5)After Tom took the sleepy girls off to their room, Kristi sat up from the couch, eliciting a small grunt of pain. Looking down at her slightly stained shirt, Kristi winced as she futilely attempted to cover up her distended stomach with the ill-fitting fabric. She couldn't even stretch the shirt down past to her pants before began making small tearing noises. Giving up, Kristi stood up, stretching her arms high above her head, causing her gut to be uncovered once again. Giving her shirt yet another tug downwards, Kristi slowly walked towards the kitchen, her overfull stomach bouncing slightly with every step.
Susan stood at the counter, wiping it with a wet rag despite it being perfectly clean beforehand- she just really wanted something to do while she talked to Kristi. As the young girl made her way into the room, Susan couldn't help but stare at her partially bare stomach. Was Kristi really that oblivious to the poundage she had gained? Susa
The Babysitter (Part 7)With her finals quickly approaching, Kristi was kicking into full stress mode. And whereas before, she had been able to deal with her stress with long nights fueled by coffee and tea binges, her dietary changes had caused some interesting habits to develop. For one, she was no longer able to stay awake longer than 6 hours at a time, regardless of how much caffeine she had ingested, so naps had become a pretty common thing, due to her completely decimated sleeping schedule. A regular day consisted of the following: Waking up around seven AM, despite her alarm being set for ten AM, getting up, showering, studying, going to class, coming home, eating a slice (or five) of the pizza she had in the fridge from the night before, napping, waking up, eating the remainder of the pizza, studying, driving to Tom and Susan's house, playing with the girls, studying, making dinner for the girls (usually some healthy nonsense that Susan had made up the night before), giving up on studying becauseThe Babysitter (Part 7)2 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
The Babysitter (Intro)Kristi smiled as she pulled up to the address she had been given over the phone. A 22 year old pre-med student, Kristi was classically beautiful, with long straight blonde hair, piercing blue eyes, and a thin, yet not necessarily toned, body. Kristi just never had time to work out with her crazy busy school workload, which also meant she didn't have time to eat very often, either. The Babysitter (Intro)2 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
But, as with most college students, Kristi was beyond broke, and her loans weren't going to pay themselves, so she had opted to search the old craigslist ad section for a job- hopefully one that would allow her to work on her homework while she did it. And luckily for her, a babysitting position had opened up just down the street. The ad read as follows:
"Family of four looking for babysitter. 6-10 PM, Monday through Friday. Two well behaved daughters, ages 5 and 7, are well behaved. 200$ a month, money for dinner will be provided as well. Must be located within
Andrea's Roommate (Chapter 2)"Damn, I really overdid it tonight..." Andrea muttered as she crawled into bed- not like she really had an option, Kate had just been so nice! And to be honest, Andrea hadn't really eaten since the day before, since she had spent most of the day trying to be, you know, not homeless. Flopping onto her newly assembled bed, Andrea popped the button on her already too-tight jeans, allowing her over stuffed stomach the slightest bit of breathing room. Stifling a hiccup, Andrea couldn't help but think to herself, "How lucky am I to have found such an awesome roommate?", before beginning to strip off her pants to get ready for bed.Andrea's Roommate (Chapter 2)2 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
Kate, however, was thinking something not entirely dissimilar, as she cleaned up the absolute wreckage in her kitchen that she had caused in the process of cooking for Andrea. Yes, the soup had been a touch too thick, but when Kate saw how that girl could eat, it was all she could do from going completely overboard with the dinne
Rachel's Failed Resistance (Part 1)Rachel was upset. Her new stepmother, Linda, was attempting to win her over, and it bothered Rachel greatly. In her Sophomore year of high school, her mother had passed away. After two years of mourning, her father had taken it upon himself to find someone new, because he felt it was what his wife would want. And so, he had met, and eventually married, Linda. Linda was not an awful woman; in fact, she was quite nice, constantly trying to win over Rachel.Rachel's Failed Resistance (Part 1)3 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
But Rachel would not have it.
She felt that her father had moved on too quickly, that he had jumped back into the fray of things much too soon. "Dad!" She had argued, "You've been alone for less than 2 years, that's less than 1/10 of my life!" But her father had simply refused to hear it. And so, 19 year old Rachel had spent her last summer before college stuck with Linda.
One week into her Summer vacation, Rachel woke up to the most wonderful
Andrea's Roommate (Chapter 3)Kate carefully exited her vehicle, carefully balancing the hot box of pizza on one hand while she grabbed her purse and keys with the other. After work she had managed to snag an extra large pizza for free after winning a bet with one of the other cooks, thereby winning a free dinner for the night. The bet in question was on who could make the most sales, and Kate wasn't exactly a new girl in the restaurant business. Even with her time in the kitchen, Kate still managed to outsell every other waitress in the place- primarily due to her exceptionally wonderful mood. Although she still felt guilty about what she was planning in regards to Andrea, she had rationalized (for now, anyways) that she was simply being a good host/roommate, and with that small nagging voice in her mind gone, she was able to focus on the good things, like her job and how big Andrea might get. So not only did she clear house with tips, but she was able to snag a free pizza- something she was almost positive sAndrea's Roommate (Chapter 3)2 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
Andrea's Roommate (Chapter 5)"What am I doing what am I doing what am I do-" Kate thought to herself in frustration as she walked, side by side with Andrea, who was currently squeezed into a rather ill-fiting workout outfit consisting of tight (as if there was any other style) yoga pants and a sports bra that looked uncomfortably painful. However, her self-lament was interrupted by Andrea waving a hand in her face.Andrea's Roommate (Chapter 5)2 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
"Earth to Kate? Hey, where are we going? I know the gym is in this general direction-" Andrea waved her arms wildly in the air in front of her, "-but I'm not sure where, exactly, it is... I would HOPE you would know!" Kate, who was already embarrassed enough, having not owned any gym clothes and thusly dressing up like a hobo in old sweats and a loose t-shirt, blushed hard at being caught daydreaming/self-lamenting.
"Oh, yeah... Right up here, the gym is just a block over. Sorry..." Ever since Andrea had suggested the gym trip, Kate had been hard at work concocting an excus
Andrea's Roommate (Intro)"Wow, now this... This is an apartment!" Andrea did a faux wolf- whistle as she surveyed her new apartment, which, up until now, she had no idea how it looked. For most college Juniors, this would have been a bit of a warning sign, but, unfortunately for Andrea, she had spent most of the summer procrastinating, which lead to her being in some what of dire straits when it came to a roommate, or, to be more precise, living quarters in general. However, in a brief stroke of luck, she had managed to find someone who had posted a Craigslist ad looking for a new roommate.Andrea's Roommate (Intro)2 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This

Of course, Andrea had jumped at the opportunity- the rent was insanely cheap for the area, and was so close to her campus that she could probably just bike there, provided her rusty old heap of an excuse for a bike still worked (She brought it everywhere but hadn't ridden it in over a year). Rachel's Failed Resistance (Part 3)Rachel lounged lazily in bed, knowing that Linda and Tom were home. She was hoping to avoid talking to Linda, so she laid quietly under her covers, listening for the front door to open, or the shower to turn on, so she could sneak out and grab some food (assuming Linda had made some; since she had eaten everything there was to eat over the weekend).Rachel's Failed Resistance (Part 3)3 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
Finally, she heard footsteps. Waiting for the sound of the shower turning on, Rachel jumped violently when there was a soft, yet unexpected, knock on her door. Unsure of what to do, Rachel simply waited. The knock was repeated, along with Linda's voice, asking "Rachel? Are you up? Do you mind if I come in?"
Rachel froze. On one hand, she was legitimately concerned that if she kept snubbing Linda, Linda might quit cooking for her. On the OTHER hand, this was the woman who now was married to her father. She scowled, before begrudgingly saying "S
Andrea's Roommate (Chapter 15)Andrea was lazily napping away her entire Sunday, her body still exhausted from the previous day’s workout. In her mind, it was a day of rest, so it was okay for her to take a day off… Plus, weren’t workouts like, something you had to slide into? You can’t just go full force after years of not working out on a regular schedule, right? While Andrea’s reasoning was… Less than flawless, it was reason enough for her to spend the whole day attached the couch, slipping in and out of lethargic bliss. That is, until her roommate got home.Andrea's Roommate (Chapter 15)1 year ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
With the delicateness of a stampeding rhino, Kate busted open the door, shocking Andrea fully awake for the first time since she had retired to the couch. “Yo, I brought pizza.” Kate said lazily as she shambled into the room. It was almost 9 PM and poor Kate was completely wiped. Nothing sounded better than going to her room and falling asleep, especially since t
Sasha 9: Comfort FoodSasha ate furiously at the dinner table. It was stacked full with a gigantic amount of various food items and she wasted no time consuming as much as she possibly could. Her outfit at this point consisted of a straining white T-shirt and shorts which were receiving the brunt force of her expanding body underneath them. They cried out in creaks and groans as Sasha's indulgence forced her extra fat to press the fabric apart. Turkey, rice, potatoes, and rice flew down her throat and into her stomach. She leaned back in her chair as she swallowed giving her tummy more room to grow and patted it as well. Andy had entered her number into his phone and was staring at it. He wasn't sure if he should text her or call her. It was a horrible dilemma in his mind. Texting seemed so impersonal, but calling seemed too eager. In the end, it didn't matter what he chose, because his phone suddenly beeped at him, and on the screen, "Text from Chelsea" was displayed. He nervously swiped his thumb across the screen, opening the text.

She had a high, sweet voice, too. “Oh, I’

Of course the event had almost happened fifty years ago and Maria was only nineteen. One thing Maria did know was that overweight humans now had an advantage over humans with Maria’s thin build. Andy and her were about to go out to dinner, and as a result of her nervousness and her desire to not seem like a bloated pig, she had abstained from eating all day. However, she realized as she sat and waited for Andy to pick her up, this may not work so well. Every day of her life, she had either eaten a ton of food and worked out for hours to balance it out, or starved herself for a day before proceeding to eat a ton of food and working out. It was a nasty cycle, but she just couldn't help it.
As she sat engrossed in her thoughts, her phone buzzed. "Hey, I'm outside your house, I think?" Andy had said. She smiled at this. Andy was always so unsure about everything. It was adorable. She stood up and looked outside, noticing a blue Honda sitting on the road. She open

Flashbacks of two weeks ago of gorging herself on food and her giant swollen midsection kept replaying in her mind. She didn't have any desire to be fat. At least she didn't think so. Andrea's Roommate (Chapter 18) Working with a hangover was a learned skill. And, coincidentally, this was a skill that Kate did not have. So, groggily and lethargically, Kate did her job to the best of her ability- that is, very poorly. "Yeah, we've got... Uh... This many orders, so, you know... Do 'em." What the pudding proved was that Carrie was not making any attempt to slim down, much to the chagrin of her mother and friends. Instead, Carrie's lazy eating habits only further entrenched themselves in her behavior. Snacking had ceased to be a fully conscious action for the brown haired teen.
