Welcome 2013!Okay, I just cannot help it....
IT'S 2013! THE YEAR OF THE SNAKE!
Hrm hrm. So. Now the the shout of excitement is done, I can tell you that it is the morning of January 1st, 2013. And I still cannot get my mind around the idea that it is the Year of the Snake. I am excited, and yet not.
Why? Cause I am a 1989 girl, which was two Snake years ago.
Hell, I am really trying to get the max out of this year. After all, if it is over, it will take another 12 years until the next Snake year arrives.
So, let's shed our old skins and grow ourselves wings. (duh, that rhyme n.n") Let's do our best to grow stronger in body and mind and reach our dreams. I hope that your plans this year come to great fruition.
ALL THE BEST FOR THE NEW YEAR, EVERYONE! KEEP GOING!

Strong shield of crystal
The stars in the distance burst
A heavy burden
Stronghold made of gold
Teacher of a life of strenght
Standing 'til the end
Brightly shining one
Ambition's shadow falling
Eclipse of the sun
Twin hidden away
Has stepped into the light
The brother's shadow
Friend of the dead ones
Knowing the meaning of live
Burn, blue soul fire
The young lion's eyes
Catching every move, the
Old one avenged
Blind eyes, all-seeing
The heart's doubt chased away
Last task achieved
Fierce fearsome tiger
Surviving one in the end
Heart wildly ablaze
Eternal search for challenge
Scorpio's deadly sting
Strong shield of the world
Heart of gentleness bleeding
Golden wing of hope
Sharpest blade of all
Striving for Excalibur
A promise made long ago
The swan flaps its wings
Thorny roses' pride
Poison blood, will unbroken
Lonely the path?

The Zodiac's archer is full of light
Always fighting justice's fight
Brave, honest, a lover of art
He's an adventurer at heart
Generous, gentle, filled with enthusiasm
He possesses great optimism
But, alas, despite being philosopher profound
His soul bears oh so many wound
His optimism is a double-edged blade
Where there's light there's always shade
The archer's heart is not except
Oh archer tell us what to expect
Jupiter, the magnanimous one
Bestows a heavy weight upon his son
While Sadges joy is bigger than you can tell
Alas his pain is big as well
His optimism Sadge dearly needs
For there is always a heavy blow that succeeds
The beautiful things that occur in life
Yet the archer manages to always survive
Thus, stranger, well be aware
That the archer's heart may also bear
A great amount of pain and vile
But Sadge hides it well behind a smile

Step by step, upwards you go
Slowly passing anywho
Stable and steady, emotions staying cool
Nothing but the top is your goal
Goat which roams mountains and sea
Your sense of duty is strong, too strong at times?
Your ambition and working sense know no ends
Your friends know you're someone to rely
As you are to them quite some supply
It's the goat which roams mountains and sea
Yet, you possesor of this likeable virtue, learn
That there's more to live than work and earn
And once you've learned this lesson well
Truly, the heavens are yours to dwell !
Oh goat which roams mountains and sea !
Now, your mind is strong
But please don't get the others wrong
`cause alone you never are
Let your skills take you far
You, the goat which roams mountains and sea

Water-carrier, human's friend
Loving challenges of mind
Let wisdom flow from your gourd
To the benefit of the world
Wisdom pours from the cup-bearer's gourd
Yours is high intellect, eccentric one
Your inside is ego, but your outside humanitarian
Freedom is your greatest lust
Unique you are, revolutionist
Look as the wisdom pours from the cup-bearers gourd
Wanting to know what connects people
You are life's biggest disciple
And you know what needs to be sacrificed
For the greater good to be obtained
Watch the wisdom pouring from the cup-bearers gourd
But, bearer of the cup so wise
Watch it! Don't let the water become ice!
Because then, hunter of human bonds
Yours is the place among the gods
Golden wisdom is pouring from the cup-bearers gourd

The path of the blade
by which I abide
which I follow
has a cold beauty
or so they say, but
to me, I only find
fullfillment in ev'ry swing
and the sound of cold steel's song
As with ev'ry slice
I deliver justice
Always balance the scales
and keep up fairness
for without justice
order may become chaos
It is a guiding post
when the path seems lost
it guides us back
to the righteous track
by a silver flash

Zodiac Poem - GeminiGeminiZodiac Poem - Gemini4 years ago in Concrete Poetry More Like This
Two souls live in you, heavenly twins
Which one are you showing of your two sides?
Is it darkness? Is it light?
There's so much more than within sight
Heaven's twins, walking among the stars
Good talker you are, communicator
Your speech always clever
Witty, your interests are hard to bind
Lover of challenges and games of mind
Heaven's twins, they are walking among the stars
Appreciating the written word
Traveling places of this world
But Gemini, don't stretch too thin
Not just this and that of ev'rythin'
It's the heaven's twins, walking amon the stars
Thus, oh twins, hear me well
And heavens shall be yours to dwell:
Dive not into much, but dive deeply
And of your father you will be worthy
Watch the heaven's twins, walking among the stars

In Pisces the golden cycle ends
in the sign that roams the dreams
Tuned to the feelings of your fellow men
Good friend you are to your brethren
Can you see the fish scales glitter?
The Pisces swims through the flow of life
To help your heart does strive
You lover of art and harmony
Tell me, what does your eye see?
Look at the glittering scales of the fish
Oh fish, fish, so gentle and sweet
Watch out to where you are carried by your feet
Don't let your dreams get you lost
Thus, for harmony you are eager the most
Now you can see the glittering scales of Pisces
All mystic things enchant you so
How talented you are. Oh !
What is your destiny bottom or top ?
With your skilled hands that provide help ?
See how they shine, the glittering scales of the fish

Under sweet Cancer's healing hands spring now makes place
For summer and its burning haze
Nature is now fully awake
Under nurturing Cancer, concerned for human's sake
Do you see the crabs glittering rosy shell?
Family you treasure most
Making a truly formidable host
And under your healing hand
Many a health is well regained
Watch the crabs rosy shell, glittering in the moonlight
Under the rule oft he moon, silvery light
You well enjoy the time of night
And while you read people well
Yet there's something I need to tell
Oh crab with the glittering rosy shell
Your shell is a protection good
But sometimes you need to come outside
If you get over fear and wound
Sweet crab! You'll be healer greatest in the world!
Crab, crab, with your glittering rosy shell!
Zodiac Poem - ScorpioScorpioZodiac Poem - Scorpio3 years ago in Concrete Poetry More Like This
They say calm waters run deep
But only the surface is asleep
Beneath the scorpion's calm facade lures commotion
A deep running wild sea of emotion
Watch it for the scorpion's sting!
Oh, so intense is the scorpion all over
Truly, a very passionate lover!
And their eyes, their eyes!
They never fail to tantalize
Fearsome is the scorpion's sting
Mystery's your second name
Determination and intensity just the same
Your heart doesn't lack courage either
Will the cold flame of your passion die ever?
Don't get caught by the scorpion's sting!
Scorpion, scorpion, please do hear me!
Your power will never blossom fully
Shed your skin and as an eagle free
Spread your wings and fly the heavens you see
Enemies, fear the scorpion's sting!
