I will make you scream in horror, but I have no fear.

I cut my wrist tonight,
just to feel the pain.
I pressed the blade so deep,
the blood fell like rain

I watched it flowing fast,
down onto the floor.
My life started draining,
untill of me there was no more.

I awoke into darkness,
with pain inside my chest.
There sitting beside me
were those who failed the test.

What have I done for this!?
I cried out in shame.
whispering from beside me said
there was only me to blame.

now I am lost to the night,
of which I will never rise.
and whispers in my heart,
all the lost souls cries.
please do not judge me, as this is in somewhat how I feel.

I stand in a field, as a child,
A simple flower, i hold in my palm,
A symbol of how easily something can be crushed or blown away,
Nurture this beauty and sigh away my pains,
A lotus, the soul of my love,
I hold in my hand.

As i contemplated these thoughts,
A Angel made itself known, walking in, with no halo or holy father,
Suddenly i felt insecure and stupid,
A boy in love with a flower.

It approached me and took my hands in its palms gently,
An angel maybe but a woman i was sure,
She possessed soft hands like small pieces of stroking silk,
Encasing my hands so they formed like fists.

A panic, i fell into fear as i began to crush my love, my flower,
Anxiety and pain, my heart began to cry and so did i,
She smiled and opened my hands palm up to show me,
The flower was still there and as perfect as uncrushed.

I awoke from this dream, a man,
I realized the flower was my love and my hands the rest of the world,
The hands are unable to crush what i love,
Love is something more, something untouchably strong,
As i studied my dream and its meaning,
I realized i was holding something in my arms,
The flower, the angel, the woman and my love.
A poem i wrote with the idea of love that you share with one person and the worlds effects on it.

If you really want to know,
"what's the difference between you and I,"

It's the fact
that when asked that question,
I'll say,

"It's you and me, stupid!"
and think that's a sufficient answer.
Oh, grammar. An enemy and a friend all at once.

She ran to the yard
And threw back her head
But there were no stars
And humans can't fly.
Everything I write manages to be about her.

Last night had been very nice and today was starting out to be beautiful.
Birds were singing in my garden and the morning sun shown through the kitchen window lighting my small antique table.
It had been Grandmothers once and was currently adorned with a pink tablecloth with matching white and pink dishes.  A single pink rose decorated the center and I think she would have appreciated the arrangement.
My little pink apron matched as well and kept things neat and protected as I moved about the small but charming kitchen.
As he sat down with his morning coffee cup I glanced over and frowned.  The dark colored, well used mug clashed with both the décor and my senses.
In solution I simply poured him a fresh cup in the proper colored mug, traded it for the chipped one and set about finishing his breakfast.
Scrambled eggs with pepper flakes, fresh peaches and homemade blueberry pancakes.
The remnants of last night's euphoria along with the gathering aromas teased my appetite up until his uncivil grumbling interrupted my morning bliss.
With a rude snort, he gruffly informed me he did not care for blueberries in his pancakes.
I smiled sweetly explaining that he would eat them anyway or else I'd hack off his head and use it for a conversational piece on my coffee table.
He assumed I was joking.
He assumed wrong.

Fortunately, any offending pieces were easily cleaned away though I had to dispose of both apron and tablecloth.
The boiled and bleached skull now rests in place of the rose on Grandmother's table.  I know she would have appreciated that as well.  After all, Grandfather had his own uncivilized moments.
OH what marvelous treats feed us! hehe

:iconackz-twisted-art: made [link]

yumyumyum

#65 but only because there's not a prompt for blueberries. hehehe

:iconthemesofhorror: # onehundred and something kitchen :D

Captain David Metlesits looked around  all the unfamiliar faces in the room. There were Humans, Andorians, a Caitian or two and some folks whose race he simply did not know. And there was the one familiar figure, standing next to him: Branch Admiral Boccioni, her age compensated by her spirit.
- This meeting of the Inter-Federation Armed Forces is in session, as of now. – Boccioni said. Even though she was a First Fleeter, she out-ranked everybody in the room, given that her only two superiors were the Fleet Admiral of Starfleet and the C in C of the Federation. The slight buzz of chatter that filled the room ended abruptly. The time for being official has begun.
- Captain Metlesits. – said an Andorian Rear Admiral, his face lined with age and experience – As you very well know, this meeting will decide on the upcoming relationship between our separate branches of military.
- Sir, yes sir. – Metlesits nodded. He wanted to show himself as an officer of the Federation, and if that required acting like a Jarhead, so be it.
- I, and all of us, have read your report on the operations conducted by your vessel and that of the so-called Section 31, in the wake of the Battle of Kzinhome. Do you wish to amend said report here and now?
- Sir, I do, sir. – Metlesits said and stood up from his chair – You know me only as a name in the registry. This means you don't know what it felt for me, being out there. Starfleet sent us as observers and we had to take sides. But we did it not as Starfleeters, but as Terran officers. For you, it might mean nothing. For the crew of the Starship Polaris, it meant everything.
- And yet you were the one who raised the Federation flag at the moment of victory on Kzinhome three years ago. – a Vulcan Commodore said. Metlesits didn't even see him at first, he was hiding in the backward seats.
- Oh yes. – Metlesits said with a small smile – But that was a Federation victory. And it wasn't just me, sir, it were the three of us, Captains Talla, Sitek and me. You might know Captain Sitek, he commands the Entente.
- Indeed, I know Captain Sitek. – the Vulcan said with a nod – And your attitude matches his description.
- Sir, may I ask his description of me?
- He described you as stubborn, loyal and Terran to the boot. – the Vulcan said – Although this latter term has its origins in your language, if I am correct.
- That's my boy. – Boccioni said with a huge grin on her wrinkled face, and patter Metlesits on the back. Some officers in the room smiled, especially the Humans – Ladies and Gentlemen, we all know what happened above Kzinhome, with the Omega Molecule device and the man called Anastas Schadenfreud.
- If that was his real name at all. – Metlesits interjected – The first time I met him, he introduced himself as Indrid Cold. Weird name, sounds more alien than Human…
- You don't want to know. – Boccioni sighed – But the name of this man should not concern us now. We are here to decide on what the Federation Armed Forces should do in the wake of the aforementioned events. And, if you'll excuse me, I'd like to be direct. The First Fleet needs bigger ships, better guns and access to data that is considered classified for non-Starfleeters.
- Admiral Boccioni, the First Fleet is saying this since its inception. – a tall African-American man said. Metlesits recognized him, he was Henry Morrow, one of Starfleet's top dogs – And so do all other Member Fleets. I don't want to sound offensive, but I don't see the reason for Starfleet to give away our technological assets.
- With all due respect, sir, we bloody well needed those technological assets when the Cats and Section 31 wanted to blast us out of the stars. – Metlesits said, angrier than he wanted to – You weren't there, you didn't see what those ships were capable of. And while Starfleet is busy re-fitting its capital ships, they don't simply throw us the scraps but call it a treat. The world changed, Admiral, and it's about time the small fleets are being treated as equals. We had our own fair share of the dangers of space. We fought wars and defended our planets and people. Isn't this what our oath is about? But how can we adhere to our oath if our ships are keeping falling apart?
- I have to admit, he's right. – the Andorian Rear Admiral said – Captain Metlesits, our mutual friend Captain Talla… let's just say, nags us with the same ideas. And she too is right in most of these ideas. Starfleet is busy fending off the Klingons and the Romulans, and I say the time has come to allow the Member Fleets to take a bigger part in our mutual mission.
- Hear, hear. – Boccioni said with another of her wide grins – Thank you, Admiral Shars, your words are deeply appreciated.
- I still have my concerns. – Morrow said with a sour face – I don't want to say that First Fleeters are not trustworthy…
- Than don't say it. – Boccioni said, suddenly cold as ice. Morrow suppressed a throwback, being outranked, he could not tell the Italian woman to go where the Sun doesn't shine, and that doesn't essentially mean deep space.
- All I want to say is that First Fleeters are notorious for bending a certain regulations. – he said instead – They poke their noses into trouble spots and refuse to take the blame if they get their noses burned.
- With all due respect, sir, if the Enterprise does it, they get a medal for it. – Metlesits said. Some Starfleeters hissed in outrage.
- The Enterprise is the Flagship. – Morrow said through his teeth.
- Splendid. – Metlesits shrugged his shoulders, just so that the Starfleeters could notice the small badge on his uniform sleeve, that of the Bannership. Although it was originally a Tzenkethi classification, the First Fleet adopted it ages ago, to represent the Number Two vessel of the Terran Defence Forces, the one just under the Flagship of the First Fleet.
- Not to mention their utter disrespect for authority… - Morrow muttered.
- Authority means nothing in space if one has no respect. – Metlesits said – My former CO told me that. Respect makes you a true Captain, not the stripes.
- Does that mean you consider me a disrespectful man? – Morrow said in a tone that suggested immediate danger.
- Not at all. – Metlesits said, calm as ever – All I'm saying is that the First Fleet has earned its respect over the past few decades. All I'm asking for is to give us a chance to live up to that respect.
- What guarantee will Starfleet have that the First Fleet, or any other Member Fleets, will not abuse the new technology and knowledge? – Morrow asked, now deflated.
- This. – Boccioni tugged up her sleeve to show a deep scar running across her left arm: an old war wound – We gave our dearest blood for Earth and Humankind, and for the Federation as a whole. And as long as the Federation doesn't abuse its power, we'll play fair too.
- I know the Terran way of thinking, and these words speak of sincerity. – Shars, the Andorian, said – And you'll have my full support in your fleet-wide upgrades. But – he raised his finger – on one condition. Starfleet isn't about warfare, our primary mission has been always one of exploration. If you want to be our equals, you need to take up this mantle just as well.
- I can agree with that, Admiral. – Metlesits said with a smile – My ship was the first to have a science team aboard. My science officer even refused to transfer to the Enterprise once we were returned to Space Service.
- And look at the outage it caused. – Morrow said silently.
- We had a joint mission with Captain Kirk's crew and Commander Spock held no grudges. – Metlesits shrugged his shoulders.
- He's a Vulcan, David, he can't hold grudges. – Boccioni said with a chuckle. She turned back to the assembled Starfleeters – Can we agree on the following exchange: Starfleet giving Member Fleets technology in return of their usage in dedicated exploratory missions?
- Agreed. – Shars said with a nod, his antennae whipping back and forth. Voices of agreement burst out in a chain reaction, ending in Morrow's mournful sigh: "Agreed".
- This settles it, then. – Boccioni said – Ladies and Gentlemen, from now on, our separate Fleets are equal in both privileges and obligations. May this moment mark the dawn of a new era.
Shars, the Andorian, was the first to stand up for applause.
As the meeting ended, Boccioni led Metlesits out of the conference room.
- I like how you handled Morrow. – she said.
- Quite frankly, Admiral, he's a major asshole. – Metlesits said in a conversational manner.
- He is, but he's powerful and has good connections. He's not used to the kinds of you and me standing up against him and get away with it.
- Do you mean he'll try to cross our mission, ma'am? – Metlesits sighed – Order us back to drydock or whatever?
- He can't do that, he has no authority for it. – Boccioni displayed a savage grin – And even if he tries, I'll override his orders. I won't see the old 782 being kept back.
- You miss her, don't you, Admiral?
- Every day and every night, David. Is it unfitting for an officer to say, I'm damned jealous of you, sitting in what's supposed to be my chair? – but she laughed whole-heartedly – I have to admit, you did a far better job at commanding the Polaris than I ever could have done. Now don't get flattered, I won't say you're a better officer than me. But you get along with your crew better than I ever did. You're like a first amongst equals, not the man in the ivory tower. And because of this, your crew even followed you through hell and back.
- I never asked them to do so.
- But they did. And this alone shows that you're a good commanding officer. By the way, David, you should go to the quartermaster's. You'll be needing a new uniform.
- Ma'am?
- Three stripes aren't enough for you anymore, boy. I think we could settle on four.
- Wha… no… really? – Metlesits muttered, earning another grin from Boccioni.
- You're being promoted to Senior Captain. After the feat you've pulled over Kzinhome, you bloody well deserve it.
- Starfleet'd say, ordering my crew for a suicide run is worthy of demotion, not promotion, ma'am.
- Then again, boy, in this present case, Starfleet can cram it, if you allow me such a poetic choice of words.
The two laughed away the tension of the meeting as they departed from Starfleet Command's central building. The air was warm in this time of the year, with the slight breeze bringing a slight salty tang from the bay, not unpleasant at all.
- I expect the Polaris to fly out by the end of the month. – Boccioni said as they strolled down a path between hedges.
- Budapest says she'll be ready in two weeks. – Metlesits nodded – Give us three weeks so that we can install some of the fabled Starfleet tech.
- You got it. You'll be needing it.
- Are you going to throw us to the dogs again, Admiral? – Metlesits asked, a little wearily.
- It wasn't me then last time, and it were Cats involved. – Boccioni answered in a tongue-in-cheek manner – But I found a new three-year mission for you and your crew, something that requires a trained, experienced crew. What do you know about the Taurus Reach, David?
- Taurus Reach… hmmm… - Metlesits scratched his bearded chin as if it would help him remember – I've heard some fishy things from around the place, back in the 60's. New colonies and such but could be a hellhole. Tholians behind every asteroid and whatnot. And that big Starbase, it's the 47, isn't it? Same class as The Glaive at Mizar.
- Vanguard, yes.
- And what's a First Fleet starship got to do at that place, Admiral?
- Protecting colonies, researching for Starfleet, the things we've just talked about with Morrow's lot. Starfleet'll deal with the Klingons if they become too arrogant for their own good, but the Tholians… they were always a Terran specialty.
- I'm already missing the Kzinti. – Metlesits sighed.
- Don't you worry, David, the place is much more secure than the Mizar region.
- Well, it was till today. I get a feeling things go on phaser's edge once the Polaris arrives at someplace. – Metlesits laughed – But she used to be your ship, you should know about this. By the way, Admiral, is there a Gyros stand on this Vanguard?
- A what? – Boccioni stopped in her tracks, looking utterly flabbergasted.
- Gyros. Döner kebab, whatever. There is a nice little stand on The Glaive, the crew always liked to eat there. It was our… favourite haunt.
- I'm sure you'll find a substitute on Vanguard. – Boccioni grinned – Keep your mind open, David. You know, new places, new discoveries…
- You sound like a Starfleeter, Admiral.
- Don't mock me, Senior Captain.

Three weeks later, the USS Polaris was ready for re-launch. Docked in one of Óbuda Naval Yards' drydocks, she was looking better than she did in years. The last few workbees were leaving the flight area, clearing the little light cruiser to fly out.
- All a John Deut. – Charlotte Ainsworth said, looking at her new science console instruments – How did you get them, Captain?
- After six years, we finally have the equipment for planetary research, courtesy for Starfleet. – Metlesits said with a huge grin – What's a John Deut, anyway?
Ainsworth did not answer, but burst out in an altogether un-protocolwise laugh.
- Better yet, we finally have two whole Warp nacelles again. – Nussbaum said, exiting from the turbolift capsule, handing a padd to Metlesits.
- Seems fine to me. – the Captain nodded after checking the repair lists on the padd – What do you think, Mr. Jiménez?
- I need to modify the propulsion vector outlet manifolds, but the new nacelle'll work just fine. – the helmsman said – Or maybe we can nick one of the same type for the old nacelle.
- Don't even dream about that, kid. – White Eagle growled – This new crap Chicago's coming out with, and they aren't even ashamed for calling it a proper outlet manifold. When this ship was built, Putilov manufactured the engine parts, and those flew you through hell and back. Putilov built the Warp core of the Enterprise, you know, and look what that ship did. And her sister ship, the Intrepid… built by them Asperger lot with pointy ears… killed off by a bleedin' space amoeba! Can you believe that, kid, a gigantic amoeba in space!
He rolled his eyes in utter disbelief and patted the engineering console he was leaning on.
- This gorgeous lady… all the original parts built by Putilov and assembled by your folks, Captain, Hungarians. For a landlocked country, you people sure know how to build these things…
- Hey, we invented the ball-point pen, the Rubik's Cube and the hydrogen bomb. – Metlesits laughed – We are a resourceful people. Találékony a magyar, as we'd say.
- That last part sounded like a friggin' caterwaul. – the chief engineer waved his hand in dismissal and returned to his console.
- Some things never change. – Metlesits turned to Nussbaum with a smile – And between you and me, Vasya, I'm damn happy to be back.
- What, my sister was giving you a hard time? – Nussbaum snickered.
- Oh no, not at all. But space, the Polaris… this is my real home, my friend. Ludmila knows that, and she respects it, as much as I respect her fascination with off-world assignments.
- Engineering and all sections report green, Herr Kaleu. – Heimann said from his communications console, Feinberg receiver in his ear.
- Wouldn't that be Senior Kaleu now? – Metlesits said, earning a laugh. He settled himself in his Captain's chair and sighed with the hope of a new, successful mission – Mr. Jiménez, clear all moorings. Take us out.
- Aye-aye, sir. – Jiménez activated his helm controls and the Polaris slid slowly out from the drydock's cage – Dock cleared, ready for operational speed.
- Set a course for the Taurus Reach. – Metlesits nodded – Warp 8.
- Let's rip subspace a new one! – Jiménez howled in triumph as the Polaris jumped to Warp, leaving the Sol system behind. A new adventure was beginning.
The Polaris has finally returned to Earth from Kzinhome... what comes after?

Love, Madness is well…mad. Sometimes it comes on slowly, devolving over many of years. Other times it's triggered by a certain event, such as a tragedy. Madness is never really predictable, never really certain. But one thing is for certain, true madness, the kind that often swallows a person entirely,  is not only a state of mind, but a state of being as well.

Madness is an evil thing. It can trap you inside your own mind. You can't talk, can't move, can't do much of anything. The voices in your head, they take control. They tell you things you normally would know to be false. But you aren't normally anymore or you dear? No, your forever changed by this curse.

You try to tell them of all the things you see, the things that plague your existence, your dreams, turning life into a living nightmare. But they don't listen to you. They disregard you as nothing but a hopeless case, a nuisance at best. And the creatures always come at night. When the lights are gone, and the doctors are all  asleep in their warm beds, dreaming sane dreams, don't they?

They never fail to come. No, they claw, they tear, and shriek with laughter at the pain they cause you. And you scream for help but no one ever comes to your aid. But Alice love, I am here now. They can not get to you while I am here. I'll be your guardian from the horrors that seek to devour you. Your best friend. And you'll never have to worry if anyone will listen to you, and you'll never have to be by yourself again. Because I know what it's like to be afraid, lost, and alone. And I certainly know what it's like to be…Mad!!

I wrote this when I had one of my migraines. so I had a bunch of pain meds in me.

This is from the Mad Hatter's point of view. He is trying to comfort Alice, and in his own way, tell her he loves her.

I had to use that preview pic cause I couldn't get my preview on there. So sorry if it's yours tell me how to fix my problem and I'll gladly remove it, until then the credit for the pic is still entirely yours <3

The Xavier, a standard Obsidian Class Luna Destroyer- one of the most powerful starships in the Syrunese People's Interstellar Fleet; a fleet built by the people, for the people- be it defence or otherwise. The Xavier was a 2401 meter long, 4.914 million tonne warship with its crew compliment of around 2000 individuals and complete with a weapons array consisting of 36 standard Ion Cannons, 8 anti-matter capable missile ports and a first class 20 Yotta Volt Tesla forward battery, and just to be sure it didn't run out of firepower; it held 18 Demious class fighters- each easily capable of destroying a Koron heavy freighter. The Obsidians were the dreadnoughts of the fleet and they held spacial superiority no matter what sector they propelled into.

It was through these destroyers  the Koron-Syruni treaty was signed, afterall even the warrior race of the Korons knew they could not defeat even one Obsidian- never mind the 8 stationed on their border.
The Xavier had been patrolling the De-Militarised Zone with the Vorath since the construction of several Vorath supply outposts along the other side of the border- military intelligence believed it could be the prelude to an invasion.

Within the Xavier's re-enforced hull contained around 2000 crew; men, women and insect of all different races, the Syrunese People's Communal Government had made it their main policy to promote integration ever since the war with the Korons sum 14 years ago.

Within this crew were the carnivorous red eyed arachnid Korons, the Aerolites- a long time ally of the Syrunese , the 'Aeros' as nicknamed by the public, where humanoid in appearance like the Syrunese- but where blue of skin and had their chests and foreheads covered with colour changing spots, these spots changed colour pending on the individuals emotion. The Syrunese and the Syrunites made up the most and rest of the crew- both of deep red skin and both had their bodies covered in stripes of charcoal black, how many pended on their ages-as they increased over time till the vertical marks covered the body from the neck down. The Syrunites do have their variations from the Syrunese despite being one of the same people. The Syrunites are physically active, some even have developed telekinesis. The Syrunite home world- Dirac, is a protectorate of the Syrunese People hence why they are also part of the crew, the Korons to show mutual trust, and the Aeros because of the outstanding friendship between the two races. But as what happens on every ship, relationships form; be they comradely, romantic, sexual or even foe-like, thankfully lesser of the latter as the other three thrive.

A sexual relationship especially developed between a particular Syrunese Demious Flight Sergeant- Nikoli Cromwell and an Aerolite Logistics Lieutenant – En'fili Feliss. It all started when the two of them were invited to the Commander's mess hall in celebration of their outstanding service, some months ago. Commander Viktor Neroon introduced the pair and at that exchange of hands, sparks flew between them; the gentle foot caressing under the table during the celebration, cemented the relationship (in a manner of speaking).

Kidnapped chapter 1

Nope, I don’t own the Akatsuki. Just the kidnap-e.

~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~

I went to bed that night.

I wasn’t falling asleep easily. I was wondering about whether I had parents or not.

KNOCK-KNOCK!

I turned to my window. I nearly jolted out of bed.

KNOCK!

I poked one eye through the shades. There was a figure about my size standing before my window. When my eyes adjusted I saw it was a boy. He looked about my age. He had long blonde hair, with bangs covering his left eye, and a ponytail holding part of the rest of his hair.

Apparently he hadn’t seen me because he kept knocking on my window. Finally I pulled my shades up. He was shocked at first. Then he motioned for me to open my window. I hesitated, then finally thought, “What was the worst thing that could happen?” so I did it. I only pulled my window about an inch up. I’m sure he would have pulled it more but there was a bug screen in between him and the window.

“Open the window up more, yeah!”

“Umm… w-why?” I stuttered. I did that because of lack of speaking. When you don’t exist to anyone, why talk?

“C’mon, yeah”

I did about another inch or so.

“I mean open it all the way, yeah!”

“W-ho are you?”

“Oh, I’m Deidara, yeah”

“What’s up w-with the yeah's?”

“It’s a speech disability or something, yeah. I couldn’t get rid of it from my native tongue.”

So he could speak more than one language?

“Just open the window, yeah”

I opened it the rest of the way.

“Can I open this, yeah?”

He pointed at the screen. I nodded my head slowly. I didn’t know where this was going. He tore it off. Then he leaned into the window and grabbed me out. I felt like a marshmallow. He picked me up so easily.

“What are you doing?”

“Kidnapping you, yeah.”

He set me on my feet. I was still in my nightgown. I was only wearing a long top.

“Well, can’t I change first? I’m only wearing a nightgown.”

He thought about this for a moment.

“Okay, yeah”

“Thank-you”

I ran back inside from the front door. I locked it behind me and locked all the other windows and doors. Then I went back to my room and started to pull the window down.

“What are you doing, yeah?”

“Well I have to change.”

He considered this. Then he shrugged.

I pulled the window down and locked it and pulled the shades down. I wonder if he really thought I was going to come back out. I did change just in case I needed to run or something; I also put on a pair of socks and shoes on. Then I ran in to my closet, and closed it.  I really wasn’t expecting him to come in. After all, who would want me?

~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~

About five minutes later, I woke up to voices.

“You didn’t really believe she would come out when she went back inside did you?”

“Not really, yeah. I just figured we could come inside and get her, yeah.”

“…”

“Hey why did leader-sama send Hidan and Kakuzu with us anyways, yeah?”

“He said that the five-tailed Gobi was a tough demon to catch. Plus Hidan needed to learn what the organization does. Anyways, let’s just find her and not leave Hidan and Kakuzu waiting”

“You and your impatience, yeah”

I heard my closet door opening. I was greeted by the blonde and now a red head. He looked about in his 20’s.

“Hn, pathetic. Hiding like a coward. Ninja don’t hide.” said the red head.

“She’s not a ninja, yeah. In this world people barely know how to fend for themselves.”

The blonde grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the closet. We walked out side. When we were on the porch, I was greeted by two new faces: Another boy about Deidara’s age, with platinum hair gelled back, and a man with a mask over his face counting money.

The platinum haired boy looked bored, as he just stared at everything, until we came out. Then he looked astounded.

“Oi, Deidara you guys going out?”

He was staring at our hands, which Deidara was clasping to. His grasp tightened then he let go of my hand, which I drew back quickly, as he was blushing and looked the other way. The platinum haired boy smiled, obviously satisfied. Just now I noticed something. All of them were wearing cloaks with a weird pattern on them. It was hard to tell in the dark though.

“My name is Hidan. I’m fourteen; I’ll be fifteen in three months, though.”

“Oh and I’m fourteen too, yeah.”

I nodded.

“Thirteen”

Both the boys smiled.

Then the red headed man started talking. I really didn’t understand any of it. So I took the chance to devise a plan to escape. I looked around. I finally saw my bike. Then I had it. I would run to my bike while they were distracted and pedal down the hill.  I would probably make it to the bottom, and they would be out of sight. Then I would jump into the creek and run into the rain pipe that went under the road for when it started to flood. I would wait there until morning and go find a new place to stay.

So I waited for the right moment.

It never really came, though. I just ran to my bike when I had the guts. I think it really startled the men though. I started to pedal down the hill. I didn’t look behind me. When I was about halfway down the hill, my bike stopped and I flipped over the handlebars, and my bike fell on its side. I looked at it and it had a tentacle on the back wheel, which was connected to the masked man.

What type of freak would have tentacles shooting out of him?! Then I remembered the current situation and ran.

When I reached the bottom of the hill I checked to make sure they couldn’t see me. Then I jumped into the creek. If I had taken my time to climb down they might have caught sight of me.  I landed on my knees, and I jumped up and ran into the rain pipe. I ran straight to the middle of it and waited, to see if my plan worked.

After I had been waiting for about five minutes I decided they didn’t know where I was, so I sat down. Then it started to rain. The rain pipe was filling up so I decided if I didn’t get out soon I would drown. I ran to the opposite of where I came from and stopped at the entrance to peek out. Then I got on my knees and army crawled through the creek and mud. They might have less of a chance of seeing me that way. Every time I put my hand on the ground the mud oozed through my fingers. It was a weird feeling.

When the water level of the creek rose too high for crawling, I climbed the side of the creek and washed some of the mud off with the rain. Then I went by a tree, behind two bushes to sleep. It was the driest place I could find and sort of hidden.

When I woke up I was freezing. I could feel the wind against my face. I was too tired to open my eyes.  I curled up into a ball. Then I remembered what had happened last night and forced my eyes open, no matter how tired I was.

I saw a radiant blue sky with few clouds in it.

“Oi, love’s awake.”

I got up and looked at my surroundings. There was Deidara, Hidan, and trees. Under me was some…. bird? Also, where were the other two men?

“W-where are we?”

“We’re flying over some woods, yeah. We’re on our way back to the rain village, back to base.” Deidara said.

“What base?”

“We’ll explain later. Now, love, why did you run away?” said the platinum haired boy.

“Hidan she’s only human, yeah. She was probably scared, yeah. I mean, if strange men came and told you they were kidnapping you wouldn’t you be a bit scared, yeah?”

“Maybe.”

“But, what is this?” I asked, motioning to the bird under me.

“This is my art, yeah. I make a bird from clay and mix it with my chakra, yeah.”

Chakra…. I’d heard of that somewhere before…

“Religion is an art, too, you know. Let me show you, love.”

He pulled a knife out and stabbed himself in the heart. It took approximately one second for me to faint.

Hidan’s pov:

As soon as I stabbed myself she fainted.

“Hidan! You idiot! You made her faint!”

“I was only showing her the arts of Jashin….”

He put his hand over her mouth.

“She’s not breathing; I think she is in shock!”

How’d he know that? And why wasn’t he saying those stupid yeah’s?

“I’m going to have to give her C.P.R”

“I’ll give her C.P.R”

“No Sasori-danna showed me the proper way to do it.”

Well that explained it. He had Sasori to explain everything to him. He laid her down on her back, pinched her nose so she wouldn’t breathe through it, and thus the C.P.R began. It lasted about 3 minutes. And for some reason I hated every second of it. I was relieved when it was over.

She sat up and gasped for air, with a couple of coughs.

“What happened?”

“Hidan stabbed himself and you fainted, yeah”

“Well, why are you tending to me?! What about his wound?!”

“That’s the thing I was showing you, love. I’m immortal.”

“…”

“My god, Jashin, grants immortality. The only way you can die is from a natural disease. Knives won’t hurt me.”

Tsuki‘s pov:

I nodded. I honestly didn’t know what to believe. I moved closer to the edge and looked over. It was mesmerizing. I didn’t even realize I was slipping. But that became clear as I found myself falling through the sky. I screamed. Then Deidara’s clay creation caught me with a thud.

“Might not want to get too close to the edges, yeah.” the blonde said, laughing.

I blushed. One incident after another. Hidan frowned. Then he scooted up to me, and laid on his stomach, legs up in the air. He stroked my cheek, while staring at my face, smiling to himself. I’m sure I was crimson by now.

“You have beautiful eyes, my love.”

Deidara squatted down, inspecting Hidan and me. His eyes narrowed, biting his lower lip. I was a bit too terrified to move. Were these guys criminals or something?

“Deidara, do you suppose leader would let us keep her?”

… -what-…?! Don’t I have a say in this?

“What about the demon, yeah?”

“Leader-sama told Kakuzu and I that the five tails has a loose curse seal that can be broken easily without killing her.”

…huh…?

“I suppose, yeah. Konan kept that one baby because it was her ‘pet’, yeah. Leader says that humans are the lowest of creatures, yeah. With him playing “god” all the time he probably made up the saying, yeah…”

Hidan returned his gaze to me, still caressing my cheek. He had bright, salmon, pink eyes. My cheek was starting to get hot from the friction.

Wait… hadn’t he said something about a demon?

“D-demon?”

“Yes, the five-tailed Gobi (wolf), yeah. You have it sealed in you, yeah. Didn’t you know, yeah?”

“No…”

“Didn’t you ever notice the seal on your stomach, yeah?”

So I was the only one that had that?

“Well it’s not like people go around wearing belly shirts. I don’t see anybody’s stomachs.”

He scooted up to me. By now Hidan had stopped rubbing my cheek. Deidara lifted up his shirt. He was smiling conceitedly.

“See, no seal, yeah.”

My face was probably burgundy by now. His abs…. He had a six pack with curves. Was he trying to impress me? I tried looking away, but my eyes were glued on him. Hidan was looking resentfully at Deidara. He looked like he was going to tackle him. Finally Deidara put his shirt down. He still had his arrogant smile on.

Then I realized something. Why wasn’t I covered in mud from the night before? Where were the clothes I was wearing the night before? I guess Deidara noticed this.

“Sasori-danna put you on drugs and gave you a bath and new clothes, yeah. But, it’s okay, yeah. He’s a doctor, yeah.”

Well, that made it a -little- better… Being bathed by some complete stranger was creepy… And I hadn’t even known it.

“I brushed your hair though, yeah. Do you like it?”

He handed me a pocket mirror. Why was a boy carrying a pocket mirror? I looked at my reflection. My hair was flared out. Maybe a gel was used.

“He used -my- gel to do your hair though.”

“Wait, where are the other two people who were with you?”

“We put them on a separate bird. Kakuzu and Sasori don’t seem to hate each other. They’re both quiet. Any ways we need a break from each other, them being our partners and all.”

So, Kakuzu and Sasori were their names…

“Yes, they’re pretty annoying, yeah.”

“Wait, why did you come to get me anyways?”

“The demon inside of you, we need it, love.”

“Why do you need a demon?”

“To take over the world”

Huh? Okay, so they’re trying to tell me I have a demon in me, and that with it there going to take over the world? Pfft, yeah right. First it was immortality, then demons, now ruling the world. Were they crazy?

“Huh..?”

“Leader-sama has a plan to take over the world. We will be at the top with him when it happens, as long as we carry out our missions.”

“What missions?”

“Missions are what you get when you’re a ninja. You can go on missions sometimes based on a ninja’s category. Like, gathering information, infiltrate a base, surprise attacks. Also there’s the importance of the mission and ninja ranks. Genin is the lowest form of ninja. They go on D and C rank missions mostly. Then there’s chunin, they come straight after genin. They go on D, C, and B rank missions pretty much of the time. Then there is jounin. They can go on all missions, A through D. Of course, all ninja can be granted an A rank mission. It’s just in most villages they make sure all the jounin aren’t available before-hand.”

“Umm….. Ok”

Honestly most of the stuff he said I didn’t quite register. But at least he wasn’t one of those fast talkers… Then I would have never been able to comprehend a thing.

“You know what? Deidara why don’t you show love your palms?”

“Why, yeah? I don’t want to, yeah”

“Either way she’ll find out. Just show love now.”

“What is it?” I asked, confused.

“Fine, yeah”

Deidara put his hands in front of me, palms-up. They had mouths on them. The tongues were sticking out and they were smiling.

“Cool.” I said, mesmerized.

“-What-?!”

“I said, cool”

“So they don’t bother you, yeah?”

“No, they’re just extra body part’s. What’s wrong with that?”

“There’s only supposed to be mouths on your face…”

“At least you don’t have two heads”

“When we get to base don’t tell Zetsu that.”

“Why? Who is Zetsu?”

“One, you’ll know why and two, you’ll see.”

“So, where are we going?”

“Well, actually were here.”

I looked down from the bird, this time making sure I was holding on to something, to see a two level building. The surrounding area looked like just a plain forest, out in the middle of nowhere.

The bird lowered onto the ground.

“What is this place?”

“I told you, yeah. Base”

Another bird started to land on the ground about a couple yards away. The masked man and the red head jumped off. In the daylight I could see stitches all over the masked man. It was a bit scary. Hidan and Deidara hopped off the bird. I did the same. When I was down Hidan and Deidara both grabbed my two hands. They started walking towards the building. They just dragged me along most of the time.

When we were at the door of the building the red head knocked on the door. An eye hole slid open and a pair of blue eyes peered out. I could tell it was a girl because it had blue eye shadow on.

“Password”

“Konan-chan, we never had a password, yeah. You know that, yeah”

“Exactly”

The door opened and a girl, about my own age, stood at the door way. She was smiling and probably giggling too. She had blue hair and a cloak with the same pattern of red clouds on it.

Deidara and Hidan pulled onward. When we were inside, we were in a small hallway. It opened up to a bigger room. That room had a TV, a couch, and a chair. At the other end of it was another room. All I could see from here, though, was a dining table.  I looked in front of me. There was another opening. It looked like another hallway, with doors.

“Is leader going to call a meeting?”

“I’ll tell him you're all here. Then he’ll probably call one.”

She ran into the hallway, then up stairs that I must not have seen before.

“Oi, love, we never did ask about your name.”

“Oh, umm… Tsuki.”

“Beautiful, yeah”

“Doesn’t that mean moon, love?”

I nodded. Deidara and Hidan were less than an inch away from my face.

“Stop using her as an outlet for your hormones.”

The red-haired man didn’t even look up while saying this. Deidara and Hidan reacted quickly.

“What makes you say that, yeah!?”

“Yeah?!”

“The fact that I’m always around when you do this stuff.”

Kakuzu and Sasori walked away towards the room that held the dining table. Then the blue-haired girl was back. Hidan and Deidara were still clinging to each of my arms. Even more, probably because of the red-haired man’s comment.

“Rei-sama will be down soon. So, what is your name?”

She turned to me, waiting for an answer.

“I’m Tsuki.”

“I’m Konan. Nice to meet you.”

“Ditto.”

“How much have you guys gone over?”

“Not too much, yeah. We told her about our own capabilities, ninja missions, and ranks, yeah.”

“Did you go over the Akatsuki or why she’s even here?”

“Umm… We went over the demon and a little bit over the Akatsuki.”

“Nothing else, yeah.”

“Here I’ll explain. This is the Akatsuki. It is a base that has many expert ninja, and others that just have unusual powers”

She turned to Hidan and Deidara.

“Our ambition is to take over the world. But in order to do that we need the nine tailed demons. They have powers that will help us make the ultimate super weapon, to use against the other nations. You have one of the tailed demons in you, as you already know. We need it for those exact reasons.”

I just nodded. I understood it, but I just didn’t want to believe it.

“What about the world switch thing?”

“I’ll leave that to Rei-sama”

“What?”

Konan turned around. There was a man, A bit taller than Hidan, behind her. He had a ginger hair color, with about six piercings on his face. I was surprised at how controlled I was. If I was at home I’m sure I would’ve laughed uncontrollably. It wasn’t an every day thing to see a person with piercings all over their face. But then I realized something. His eyes had rings in them. It reminded me of one of those hypnotizing wheels.

“Are you going to start the meeting?”

“Fine.”

He closed his eyes. Then opened them.

“I sent a message to everyone.”

He walked over to the middle of the room.

“Get ready for some eye-bugging sites, Tsuki.”

What did she say? Then I heard something coming from the hallway. A boy with spiky, black hair, and an orange mask, that had swirls on it, jumped into the room.

“C’mon Zetsu! I don’t want to be late for the meeting.”

Another person started to walk in. A green one. More like a giant plant with legs walked in. I felt my face flush, pale. A giant fly trap looking thing, with two legs and a head sticking out of the fly trap, was –actually- walking in. It had white and black halves and yellow eyes. I hoped I wasn’t staring.

“Tobi, we’re coming.” “Stop running; we just woke up.” it said.

“Then don’t sleep in!” the masked boy shouted, gleefully.

Following the green one, was a normal looking one. He had black hair pulled into a pony tail, and lines across his face, as if he was old or didn’t get enough sleep. He looked older than Deidara and Hidan, but younger than the ginger haired one. He stopped and inspected me for about a second. He had deep, almost black, eyes. That was all I found out before he walked away.

Quickly another man walked in. He was walking too fast to see much other than weird, blue skin and a sword on his back. He sat down, lazily plopping down into his seat. I leaned into the entrance of the hallway to check if anyone else was coming. Nope.

The ginger-haired one was still standing in the middle of the room. He was pacing back and forth with his hands behind his back. Hidan and Deidara pulled me to the armchair. Deidara and I sat down in the seat while Hidan sat on the arm. The boy with the spiky black hair and orange mask, raised his hand.

“Leader-sama, why is there a little kid here?”

Other than the remark about me being a kid, that was the smartest question I’d heard all day. I mean, I had heard them with their explanations, but why would I believe they were trying to take over the world? Then again, it was a freak-show in here. If you believed people like this existed, you could probably believe anything.

“She is the jinchuuriki of the five-tailed wolf demon.”

Every body turned to me. I felt like a mouse compared to them.

“That’s the reason of the meeting. Her seal isn’t as strong as the others’. It will only take about a day to take out the demon.”

“Only a day? What a break!” shouted one of them.

The whole group started muttering.

“Quiet down. Because the seal is easier to break she will survive the breaking of the seal. Now the only question is, what we should do with her when we’re done?”

Everyone started mumbling. Then the green man spoke.

“We should have marinated jinchuuriki.” “Yes, there are only nine of them, so they’re very rare.”

My face flushed pale again. Deidara clutched my arm.

“We should keep her, yeah.”

“She could be a maid.” Hidan suggested.

Every one looked at Hidan and Deidara. Then Konan spoke.

“We should, I can’t live in a house full of men forever. Please, Rei-sama?”

“… Fine… But you have to watch and take care of Tobi all week.”

“Fine…”she replied reluctantly.

“What purpose will she serve? She has to do something to stay here.”

“She could be an assistant. She has the blood of a ninja.” Konan said confidently.

“True. Also, the powers of the wolf will remain.” The ginger-haired man said.

“Really? Then wouldn’t she have the sharengan?” questioned Kakuzu.

“Partially. She would never live up to Itachi.”

“Wait, how’d she get the sharengan?” asked Tobi.

“From a previous jinchuuriki. One of them was an Uchiha. The wolf demon picked it up from him. The wolf demon is known for its queer sharengan.”

“It’s gay?” replied Hidan astounded.

“No, it’s –strange- because it’s sharengan is the opposite of a normal one. Instead of the pupil being red with black dots, the pupil is black with red dots. No one knows how it had become that color.”

Okay, what the deuce is a 'sheringain' or whatever?

“Well, why doesn’t Itachi train her? He has a sharengan, obviously. He could show her how to use it. Also, he keeps bugging everyone about wishing he had his little brother back.” Konan implied.

“I will not be responsible to keep a child in check. She’s a nuisance. And Sasuke is my loving brother’s name.” The black-haired boy replied.

“Itachi, Konan has a point. She will be your assistant. Think of her as a girl version of Sasuke. They’re about the same age, right? How old are you?”

He looked to me.

“Umm… Thirteen years old.”

“See? When we are done with breaking the seal, she will be under your care.”

“He doesn’t even want her! Why can’t she be my assistant, yeah?” fretted Deidara.

“What about me? She could be mine!” Hidan complained.

“That’s enough. First of all, Itachi is older. Second, he has the sharengan. Third, he won't rape her. End of discussion.”

“When are we going to break the seal?”

“Soon...”

I looked at the black haired boy. This was Itachi. This was my new superior…
