Birds were singing in my garden and the morning sun shown through the kitchen window lighting my small antique table.
It had been Grandmothers once and was currently adorned with a pink tablecloth with matching white and pink dishes. A single pink rose decorated the center and I think she would have appreciated the arrangement.
My little pink apron matched as well and kept things neat and protected as I moved about the small but charming kitchen.
As he sat down with his morning coffee cup I glanced over and frowned. The dark colored, well used mug clashed with both the décor and my senses.
In solution I simply poured him a fresh cup in the proper colored mug, traded it for the chipped one and set about finishing his breakfast.
Scrambled eggs with pepper flakes, fresh peaches and homemade blueberry pancakes.

Polaris - Fly-outCaptain David Metlesits looked around all the unfamiliar faces in the room. There were Humans, Andorians, a Caitian or two and some folks whose race he simply did not know. And there was the one familiar figure, standing next to him: Branch Admiral Boccioni, her age compensated by her spirit.Polaris - Fly-out3 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
- This meeting of the Inter-Federation Armed Forces is in session, as of now. Boccioni said. Even though she was a First Fleeter, she out-ranked everybody in the room, given that her only two superiors were the Fleet Admiral of Starfleet and the C in C of the Federation. The slight buzz of chatter that filled the room ended abruptly. The time for being official has begun.
- Captain Metlesits. said an Andorian Rear Admiral, his face lined with age and experience As you very well know, this meeting will decide on the upcoming relationship between our separate branches of military.

Good morning, Trouble 2Ben knocked a second time, but nobody answered. He sighed. There had to be someone here, after all this was a police station!Good morning, Trouble 24 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
No answers. The doorbell seemed to be broken; at least nobody had reacted to it. He gave it one last try and then turned around to get back into his car. He threw the undelivered parcel on the backseat and turned the key. His boss would probably freak out and call him a lazy ass who couldn't even deliver a parcel to the police station. If he was especially lucky, she wouldn't believe that there'd been nobody around and fire him. Just great.
Ben turned his car around and left the small parking lot in front of the station. Maybe it'd be alright if he delivered all the other stuff on time the car's built-in watch seemed to smirk at him.
"Hey, just what do you think you know about how fast I can deliver my parcels?"
The watch just kept grinning, and somehow the thought that it'd probably be right in the end made him a bit angry. "I'm doi

Deidara looked too innocent for Itachis liking. He burst into the room and began to root through all the drawers.
Dont lie, I know you did.
Dont open that one! Deidara yelled. It was too late for Itachi. In a burst of sizzling smoke and flame, the drawer blew up and singed a good part of Itachis ponytail off.
Eeeek! Itachi felt his hair frantically. How much is burned? Tell me! He shoved his ponytail into Deidaras face.
Deidara turned away and frowned. Im not going to tell you anything. Those were my favorite clay creations, and you detonated them.

The beast moved in the darkness, and the world felt it, like a shadow the stir crept over its surface, every tree, every blade of grass shivered under its slight vibrations. It was a prelude, a friendly 'Good morning' to the apocalypse.
Deep within a forest a naked man exited a cave. He scratched the back of his head and felt a bit weary. Was it time again already? He yawned, sunlight falling down through his well-kempt, waist-long blonde hair, and started the usual routine. He began with the senses, as always, closing his eyes and re-opening them a few times. Just then, he noticed the shape of the object the policemen were carrying. Didn't that look like a person? Wrapped in a dirty-looking trash bag? Probably just his imagination. He'd always had a very lively one, spending hours thinking about the most unnecessary and strange things that could have happened whenever he came across a strange situation. Usually, reality didn't turn out as eventful as he thought it would, but he was the kind of person who liked to think that someday he'd be right, and then he'd run around rubbing it in the faces of everyone who'd ever frowned upon him for 'inventing' those things in that high school news article years ago. It's almost been 2 years since my brother murdered our parents. Because of how much his appearance had changed, the police hadn't been aware the killer was no longer a brown-haired, smooth-skinned boy. For the last couple years, he's had black hair and white, leatherlike skin. Not just that, his eyelids are no longer there and he had carved a glasgow smile into his cheeks.
The night he had killed our parents, he was nearly able to stab me to death. Luckily I was able to crawl my way to the phone before heavy bleeding became my demise. Despite that though, I still love my brother no less than I ever have. Although being a Christian, I'm required to unconditionally love every living being like our Father above. The wooden cross that hangs on my necklace always reminds me of Jeff, since he owned one just like it. For the last while I've been wondering if he still had it.
If you haven't gotten the hint, I'm Liu, Jeff's older brother.

After a few minutes, the images should start to get clearer and brighter.
When this happens, they"ll start taking on detailed forms, images of violent murders, deformed animals, and similar things. No matter what you see, keep your eyes closed. You"ll start to lose track of time, but eventually the images will stop, and you"ll see pure darkness, nothing but deep black, no colors or shapes. We describe murder as the intentional and unlawful killing of a person. But why just people? Are we so high and mighty that murder should only be seen as murder when one person commits the crime against another?
