This past weekend we've been hit by a pretty good sized blizzard. Everything was cancelled, no travel advised. All the ice was affecting power lines and the internet. The next street over went without power for awhile, and to put it short. I was hating it :/ Been one of those days where even little things irritated me. So since nothing was going on, I figured I might as well paint something. I was going to draw Kiraga in a blizzard at first, but then I was like nooo. I already hate snow right now, so I'll just put her somewhere warm and toasty instead. Even recorded it

Anyway I'm over it, the painting really helped I think. Ki still looks like she wants to behead someone, oh well
I realize that there are mistakes and areas that I could have worked on more but, I really could care less with vent art.
No textures used, brushes are all my own. Kiraga is mine so no stealing or whatever, as usual~

PLATJHO IALKADBBO LFIAGBEIJ AYGD and olives... but not the pits though. The pits suck

Just wanted to do a landscape based on an actual place rather than imagination, this here is called Paha Sapa or The Black hills. Perhaps the most sacred place in America for us natives. This place looks way more epic in real life because of all the natural rock spires, huge peaks and trees but... this is the best I can do for now. Added Kiraga and the eagles in there at the last second, just for giggles~

I loved the idea of this blunt-winged dragon being able to fly through tight spaces in trees ^^
I wanted to paint a more crowded forest too, but the branches and such kept covering too much of him :/
Also... I looove the scales/colors of this dragon *-*

Collaboration with =Ucaliptic

We drew Kiraga as an invader to the homeland of Karbalus! Or well, she drew them but I was in charge of environment and effects. The first collab we had planned was scrapped, but I'm glad we could work something else out ^^ Kiraga cannot breathe fire, but it was an interesting concept for her darker side... much time was spent on the collab on both ends sooo, hope you like it o.o
