Winter Storms"I know I shouldn't."
Thor stared at the metal grates beneath his feet. His armor had grown heavy since the Avengers' victory against the alien invasion. Now that a war was prevented, he had to face his inner battle. Would he risk losing his brother again?
He sat in the back of the armored hummer provided by S.H.I.E.L.D, ignoring the trace blonde hairs that fell around his face. In a way, he hoped they hid his indecision. He brushed his hand against the side of his chin, relishing in the familiar sound of his stubble scratching his callused palms.
A low, muffled scoff resonated from the other side of the vehicle. Thor leaned back against the vibrating walls of the steel-clad car and stared sorrowfully into two fuming, green eyes. A storm was thundering overhead, causing the hummer to jolt and swerve uncontrollably. Still, it was perhaps the only moment he and Loki would have before facing Odin's judgment. Thor eyed the metallic, vented mask that covered the bottom half of

The snow fell like small, sparkling diamonds from the skies, glistering in their own, natural beauty before they landed on his warm skin and all the layers of clothing and simply melted away, turning into drops of water that rolled down over the heavy fabric of his coat and shirt. His concerns held his mind occupied, the sound of his own breathing being the only sound loud enough to reach him as he ran over the frosty ground, the leather of his boots keeping out most of the cold, but not all of it. The blood in his veins kept pumping furiously, his heart leaping up in his throat as his gaze fell upon the lifeless form that lied beneath the big oak tree with its branches covered in white, glistering snow.
He'd feared that something was wrong the moment he realized that Loki weren't sleeping on the bedroll next to him, his fear only growing bigger and more intense when no one else in the camp seemed to have noticed Loki's departure either. Sif quickly suggested that the two

I ran to my bedroom and slammed the door shut, locking it. I slumped down to the floor and began to weep. I was a monster. All my life I had been lied to, led to believe that I was normal that I was the same as everyone else on Asgard only to learn today that I was a frost giant. Odin had told me stories about the frost giants as a child saying that they were evil monsters in order to scare us. Thor had said when he became king he would hunt the monsters down and slay them all. That meant he would slay me because I was a monster. I couldn't leave this room ever. I couldn't let Thor find out. I couldn't let Asgard find out or they would demand that I was cast out and taken to Jotunheim where I belonged. I wasn't Loki Odinson anymore. I was Loki Lauferson. I belonged to the frost giant king. I was his son. I wonder if he even knew that I was his son. Probably not. Odin had probably weaved so many lies to hide my secret from the two worlds. Thor pushed back his red cape over his shoulder, sighing silently. He traced his finger along side of the wall. How long since he has he been gone? He could hardly remember, it still broke this man emotionally. He shook his head silently, his feet clapping silently against the ground. He always hopes his dear brother would just appear or surprise him or something.
Nothing, days passes, nothing, no sign of him, no hint, no hope that he is hiding somewhere. He finally just sat down onto the abandon part of the halls that anyone barely walks. He closed his eyes, lifting head up trying to not to break into tears. It was eminent that he is about to collapse.
The voice, he didn't want to open his eyes. "Brother?" The young voice said. He swallows. He didn't answer. "Please talk to me, I am here, look." The voice sounded like Loki. He opened his eyes, seeing a transparent figure of his brother, teen probably close to adulthood. "Loki..?" He said with a frown. He felt something cold on his han
Attack of the Night Snuggles Loki hated sleeping alone. He didn't mind the actual being alone part, he was just one who enjoyed having his arms around someone (something) as he slept. Odin had been willing to indulge him when was young, but as he aged and entered manhood Odin had lost his patience. Loki pried his eyes open, squinting at the bright light emitting through the opening at the door. Young Thor peered inside, looking nervous. The little God of Mischief pursed his lips, eyebrows furrowing.
"Loki, may I come in?"
"No, Thor! Get out!" the little God snapped, flinging a pillow at his brother's face. Thor caught the pillow, eyes lowering to the ground sadly.
"I said no." Loki glared at the 10-year-old God, his eyes slowly growing accustomed to the shining light across his face. Thor remained at the door, looking ever-so-sad and pathetic while clutching the pillow to his chest.
"Please, Brother ?"
Loki lay there on his back, one arm strewn over his forehead as he stared quietly at the blonde. Finally, he let out a sigh and scooted over to the right side of the bed, pretending to pout.
"Fine, but don't tell Father," he mumbled. "And shut that door!"
Thor smiled brightly, squeezing the soft pillow as he closed the door and curled up next to Loki under

Everything came back into focus from a hazed, rainbow blur, and Loki found himself looking around what he was certain was the bifrost that had been destroyed when he fought Thor all those weeks ago.
Noticing his quiet, inquisitive look, Thor gave a bitter snort as Heimdall pulled the sword from its place. "As it turns out, time passes much slower on Earth than it does here. You have been absent from our lives for two years. We had plenty of time to recreate the bridge and the bifrost."
He tugged insensitively at the chains binding Loki's hands together as they started down the long path that would take them back to the palace.

Loki slept like an angel, Thor observed. Thor was not only watching Loki, but he was studying him. Loki wasn't snoring, much to Thor's delight. Thor also noticed that Loki's eyelids fluttered a tiny bit every time he exhaled. And the moonlight from Asgard's three moons shined down directly upon Loki's pale skin. The many voices inside it, more ancient than the oldest of the icy halls on Jötunheimr and at the same time as young as winter's first snow, sing a beautiful melody, reach out and touching his heart, answer questions long kept asked, filling the gaping holes inside him.
When he touches the casket, it touches him as well. Icy tendrils, familiar in a confusing way, take a hold of his hands, his arms. The very soul of the Ancient Winters washes over him, surrounds him and leaves midnight blue skin in its wake. He feels it carving the skin of his face, covering it with the traditional scars of the Jötunn. It is unsettling how bared but at the same time utterly complete he feels. Everything is so clear to him, dragged out into the light for him to finally see.

In the tricksters opinion it is very overrated, it makes people hot and uncomfortable.
Of course Loki doesn't really realize why Thor loves the sun, until he wakes with the future King, the beams coming through the others window and covering their bodies, slowly warming Loki up.
Being warm wasn't something that Loki was highly unused to, but with both Thor's arms around him tightly, and the suns beams warming his bare skin where it reached him, Loki could almost see his lovers fascination.
Though he'd still rather it rained. Or snowed. Snow was good.
Turning around in his lovers/brothers arms, Loki let a soft sigh fall from his lips, watching as Thor stirred. Huh, it appeared that the sun beams were taking revenge on Thor for sleeping in, by burning through his closed eyelids.
The cover they were lounging under was suddenly yanked upwards, and Loki couldn't help the sound of surprise that left his mouth as darkness swallowed the both of them.

"What. The. Fuck?!" the red-headed child in the doorway says, stressing every word, her eyes wide with disbelief upon their sight.
Fandral believes that this choice of words is inappropriate for a child and over all a damsel, but it seems to match the situation. The mortal has not expected to see five gods in front of her door, the Æsir have not expected to find a girl her age standing in the doorway, since Heimdall said Loki is living with a woman. No child was mentioned. Clearly, this situation needs someone to untangle it.
Fandral clears his throat, and the girl stops scrutinizing Thor to look at him. Her eyes are sharp, nearly piercing, bright, intense, and Fandral is taken aback for a moment. Her hair a wild cluster of curls, her skin the colour of ivory, only interrupted by faint freckles and rosy cheeks. She will grow to be a fair woman, he is certain.
