everything you need to know about my characters.Name: Zorath
Age: Estimated to be 16
There have been many different accounts of Zoraths appearance from across the world. We currently know of 4 of them but others might end up being discovered at further dates. We will list them in order of frequency.
Zoraths most common depiction is that of a 7 foot 4'' tall anthropomorphic dragon with midnight black scales and grey scutes covering his chest. Various small red scales appear on his body forming patterns. Said patterns resemble veins for the most part except on his head where they look more like red lightening. Each hand has 3 fingers and a thumb adorned with 6'' long white claws. The feet have 3 large claws at the front and another at the heel. Spikes line his back from the base of his head to the tip of his tail, each standing about 3 ½'' long. These spikes are also present on the back of his neck forming a half collar to protect the rear of his neck. Two large curved horns rest at the rear of his head, each
The Digital Alterverse - chapter 1Henry was thrilled when he heard he received a code for the VUP launch day. Also, Enter your username on the site you received this code from to have your characters pre-loaded onto your account'' the page read out when he finished typing. Henry quickly entered everything he needed, including his account name, KettouRyuujin.
It took a few days to arrive, but when the Virtual Universe Pod appeared at his door Henry was ecstatic to say the least. He signed the delivery man's note and wheeled it into his front room.

End of the human race? The sun was setting on another glorious winter night. The date; 20th of december 2012. Zorath was gazing out of his window, waiting for his parents to get back. His parents had gone to collect Shiva's birthday present for tomorrow and left him in charge. Although his sister was younger Zorath often went to bed before her but tonight he had to wait until their return to switch off for the night.End of the human race?2 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
He left his window and returned to his desk, pulling up the news. Already large batches of people were doing crazy things, believing the end of the world would soon be upon them. He snickered at the thought. Just because some old Mayans ended their calendar on the 21st didn't mean the world would end. It was possible but very unlikely.
He closed the tab after reading about the man who had gone on a killing spree in London and opened up Deviantart to check for the usual stuff. He gave out a few favorites and comments before shutting down for the night. He made his way downstairs, grabbed himself

Walking among the crowds was a man dressed in a thick winter coat, scarf and gloves with a pair of large glasses. His blonde hair waved in the wind slightly while his brown eyes burned with determination.
He finally arrived outside the school only a moment later. His watch told him he had around 10 minutes before he could execute his plan so he made his way into position up a large oak tree just outside of the fence surrounding the playground and waited patiently.
Danice and Evan had been dating for a month or two now. They had both secretly liked each other since they were 9 but neither could pluck up the courage to ask the other out. Everything finally fell into place when Evan's friend Dan had dared him to ask her out. After taking an onslaught of taunts from his friend he finally ag

It had taken a few more days since Shinkou joined him, but now his digital world was ready to go. Another friend had recently joined, Rob, and was now quite at home in his own world. Both of them were now his main administrators and had settled into their roles rather quickly. With the beta phase now complete, the next few days would truly test everyone's skills to the limit.
''30 minutes to the conference, sir,'' Zorath's cyber gauntlet chimed in a butler voice. The dragon was very glad that he had made this piece of kit. He personally loved the look of the wrist mounted device as it was, but it could be changed to a large selection of other attire as Shinkou had demonstrated with his necklace version. The voice function was only a recent feature the Alterverse's maker had added, allowing the gauntlet to provide notices, reminders, and other services without hav
Releasing the soul-Unleashing the myth 2With the two eastern dragons covering the medias entire attention, Doctor Jester was sure his plan was going perfectly. The first blast had produced the desired effects perfectly without the need for even a second dosage. The device made a 'Ping' noise signalizing a completed charge and the doctor unplugged it. He jumped into his old blue van and set off towards the city center. His next 'patients' were in for a surprise. He set the gun up carefully, making sure to get the settings perfect for the next shot. The target this time was the Arndale, a shopping center right in the middle of the city.
The myths would soon be back.

You're still that lone soul,
But this time
You feel a presence
Building up inside you, slowly.
You can now see truly,
You open your eyes
And witness something incredible.
You've noticed your hand,
Yet it is no longer that.
You see claws spurting out from your fingertips,
Your nails, fallen to the floor.
It looks painful
But you feel nothing.
Nothing but the strength
Still growing inside you
Now making its way to the surface,
Changing you slowly...
You watch as your fingertips fuse.
As five becomes three,
Your new claws growing longer
With each passing second.
You stare in amazement
Not sure what to feel...
Shock? Fear? Awe?
But there is one thing.
One single feeling
Surging through your body...
One feeling whose existence
You cannot deny.
It flows through your veins
Filling you with the energy
Of the beast within.
Now freeing itself
From the depths of your soul...
Yet this power cannot be contained so easily.
The Scales - Part 4The sky screamed as it set alight. All around people were fighting, bullets going everywhere tearing planes and myths from the sky. Zorath heard a high pitched scream and gasped in horror as Ai began to fall, her wings ablaze. By the time he caught up to her she was already gone, another life claimed by misunderstanding. He had hoped dragons would be accepted after a show of intelligence and a peaceful meeting. All it did was speed up the inevitable and now his only light in the darkness had been extinguished. The Scales - Part 42 years ago in Introductions & Chapters More Like This
Zorath awoke with a start, sweating heavily after such a vivid dream. Ai was still sleeping beside him, making the dragon sigh with relief. It had only been a dream yet that dream could become reality if they weren't careful.
Soon enough they were both awake and they stretched themselves out. The new limbs were still an odd feeling to the both of them and the other two subjects', Steve and Tyler, loss was still heavy on their minds.
''Maybe they're ok Zorath''

A few days later and the creator of the device, now known as the Virtual universe pod or VUP for short, was preparing for the worldwide launch. Already the demand exceeded expectations and everyone was working around the clock to get everything shipped on time. Zorath was very excited about what this could do for everyone and wanted to share his moment in the spotlight with his friends so he created some special codes that would grant a 100% discount to a purchase of VUP.
The young inventor sent them off through the internet to his friends across the world and proceeded to shut down his computer for the last time. He would have one on his wrist at all times in his universe. He stepped into the metallic pod, flicking the door switch and preparing for the shock of his mind being transferred into the

Welcome to the Bermuda Isles, the last stronghold of legends. Long ago, as the threat of extinction by hunters and knights became too great, the mythical creatures of the world fled to the isles of Bermuda to shelter themselves from the rest of the world. The various magics of the creatures weaved a barrier around the Isles in the shape of a triangle, blocking it from the rest of the world and beginning the stories of the infamous Bermuda triangle.
After settling down the myths soon discovered a small population of humans living off the land. The myths decided to

This familiar cry came once again to Airman Patrick Zuspann. He was always a screw up, barely passed Air force basic training and technical school. Everything he did, he always messed up in some way, this time it was really big.
"Do you know how much that pump cost? That is the new P-7583 'Water Hog,' it has a computerized meter that records how much water it pumps out. It's worth 15,000 dollars," his supervisor said.
"I'm sorry sir. I didn't know there was sewage in that trench. I should have looked better," Zuspann said.
"Zuspann, I swear one more screw up like this, and I will find some reason to kick you out," his supervisor said.
"Yes sir," Zuspann said.
"Just go home and try, TRY to not get yourself killed."
"Yes sir," he said.
Zuspann really did try hard to get things right. It was just every time he did something with his plumbing job, something went wrong. He installed a new water heater, and the water lines would break. He put in new lines and t

''Another one?'' Zorath complained as he, Shinkou and Edge entered the main Headquarters. They got a few surprised looks but were quickly dismissed as they recognized their boss. ''We need to get into the main lab now,'' the creator told the secretary. A wave of the ID later and the three were in the belly of the beast.
All along the room were massive computers, acting as the servers for the entire Alterverse. Towards the end of the room were the main work areas, occupied by technicians. At its center was a large monitor showing all the information about the world and errors currently active. Sure enough most of that screen was filled by error messages from Rex's VUP.
''Good to see you back sir!'' Mathew, the head technician said as they reached the main screen. ''We've dispa

Nick stared blankly at his computer screen. It had been days since he'd had any sort of inspiration for his songwriting and he just felt completely bummed out. His online friends had tried to make him feel better, but all in all it seemed nothing would help. He just needed some sort of inspiration to break him out of this slump.
After an hour of browsing around FA and DA and his other social networks and coming up with nothing, he leaned back in his chair and let the chat messages flood in. Someone started going on about their problems again, and he began to tune it out. He turned on some music to help himself relax and ran his hands slowly down the keyboard.
Maybe I'll write a story, he thought. That'll give me a break from writing music and I could actually come up with something good.
He opened his writing program and watched the cursor blink for what felt like an eternity, trying to come up with an idea. Then his instant mess

Sabrina was a good-looking girl, and had just turned eighteen. She had long, flowing blonde hair, tan skin, and the perfect face. She was the girl that liked to hang out with a little bit of everybody. She hung out with preps, jocks, Goths, stoners, musicians, and you get the idea.
One day, there was a new kid in school. She was determined to befriend him, since nobody likes moving to a new school in the middle of senior year, and she went up to him.
Hi! Youre a new kid, right? without waiting for him to answer, she went on, My name is Sabrina, and I thought you looked a little lonely over here all by yourself. She gave him the warmest smile she could muster up, and waited for him to reply.
During all of this, he simply had his head lying across his forearms, with his hood covering the rest of his head. He looked up at what he took as a prep, and just put his head back down. He sighed, and lifted his h

The secretary behind the front desk simply gave him a dismissive nod, and then returned to her crossword puzzle.
“Right…” Sighing, he glanced back at the empty waiting room, surprisingly plain-looking with its whitewashed walls and shiny, checkered floors. Large potted plants and dark grey couches were positioned in neat rows throughout the room, and there was a long table overloaded with various pamphlets and magazines next to the front desk where he stood. Pre-recorded voices greeted him from the ceiling far above: “Welcome to Helena Pharmaceuticals! Your Key to a Better Life!”
The young man grinned at that. He tried not to, but he couldn’t help it. It was just too exciting, especially whenever he stared at the thick metal door on the far side of waiting

My name is Obye. I lived in West Linn, a small town that is twenty minutes south of Portland, Oregon. I lived in a decent home, but I lived with my friend Casey. Casey and I have been friends since elementary school. I worked out of my house, while Casey had a job in Portland he would commute to. Casey had a business trip next week, so the house would be mine. When he left for his business trip, I checked dA to see if any new TF stories that I managed to miss. I saw a really good TF story from ThunderClawShockTrix, and I had read his dragon story series based on Farm’s work, and others. I liked how they wrote, but I decided I would write a new original TF story that happened to me while my friend was away. I was depressed on how other artists on dA that wrote TF’s got so many more views on their work than mine. Of cour
Dragon TF-2May had two rather extreme interests: climbing and dragons. Ironically, she had met a dragon while climbing, although falling was a better term.Dragon TF-25 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
She had been free-climbing up a natural rock face, when the rock she had grabbed fell out. Her grip with the other hand slipped and she started falling 100 feet in the air. The next thing she knows is that a deep red dragon caught her. He held her with his forearms as he opened his powerful wings and softened the landing. However, from 100 feet there is not a lot of time to slow down, so they landed rather roughly. May hit her head on a rock and was knocked unconscious. When she woke with a large headache, the dragon was nowhere to be found, but her head was bandaged where the rock split the skin. Lucky, re was no permanent damage, but whenever she mentioned the dragon, her friends claimed she had a concussion. Eventually, she began to doubt her story and stopped mentioning the dragon.

The vast desert area had very little in terms of life. Only the occasional Tusker herd broke the endless yellow of the sands. The pig-like creatures groped together and ran southwards, towards the much more inhabitable jungles that lay there.
Many wouldn't make it though as a group of four wolf creatures materialized in the air above them, landing atop the group and taking out at least five. The voracious predators of the sands had become the apex predator here, their six eyes with protective film gave them an edge in the visuals department and their ability to teleport short distances made them very dangerous.
A mile or so east sat a small shack, created from odd pieces of metal the owners h
