Moans of "It's going to rain" can be heard today.
Rainclouds build slowly this time
And so give everyone a chance to get inside.
As the clouds prepare to release their rain
It grows dark in the middle of the day.
Finally, a thunderclap occurs
Echoing through the forest of elms, oaks, and firs.
A lightning strike pierces the sky;
The injured clouds start to cry.
Between flashes of sudden light
Thunder crashes, and wind whistles with all its might.
Next time it rains, listen well and be silent
So to enjoy Nature's concert.
Music, I hear, comes from everywhere.
The best is undoubtedly only from Nature.
The CurseI never thought before now that the sight of my friends simply chatting and having a good time would ever bring me such relief, but it does. Looking up at the pale half-moon, I can only be grateful that the emeralds no longer have the effect that they had on me before. Before I managed to help myself, I guess I hate my temper. I dread losing it. More than dread, I think fear. That's it. I'm afraid, since I'd know what was going to happen, the pain and panic I'd be forced through and I'd have little choice no, there really is nothing I can do about it. Absolutely nothing. First I feel angry, tired, hurt and then it comes on, a glowing ball of rage in my chest, and before I can even attempt to stop it it's spreading through me, and I hear his laugh in my head as I go blind and deaf and unfeeling. The Curse4 years ago in Fan Fiction More Like This
You know, I'd always thought that water and spiders (not your normal garden variety, mind) were my biggest fears, but now I know different. You can avoid

Sonic tossed and turned in the bed, covers thrust aside, covering the lower half of his body, arms flailing helplessly. A sob caught in his throat, and tears were running down his face. All of this was not done consciously, but brought on by the restless dream he was having.
I am you.
And you are me.
"No..." Sonic muttered "I'm not you...I...I'm not"
Oh, but you are.
We've been together since that day.
You do remember that day.
An image flooded into his dream, base emotions of fear, terror and confusion flooded all his senses, while the images were of people, staring at him with eyes not full of hope and admiration of his exploits, but of fear. It was raw, cutting him down to the bone.
Why were they looking at him in that way? He hadn't done anything, it wasn't his fault!
Of course it's your fault.
Sonic turned, and beside his feet was a lake.
A force drew him to the edge, and dragged his h

A few hours later and Sonic was exhausted. Coffee stopped helping after a while, even though he guzzled it as if he was dying of thirst. His body needed to shut down and rest. But fear kept him up.
Shadow and Tails continued to worry for him. After a while, Tails got his own cup of coffee and went to the lab to try to work on something that would help Sonic. Shadow kept watch over the weary blue hedgehog.
Sonic was sitting on the couch, trying not to doze off. It wasn't working very well; his head would bob slightly as he'd begin to fall asleep, and jerk back up when he realized what he that he was. Shadow kept and eye on him, and looked vaguely conserned.
"Staying up like this can't be good for you," he stated.
"Neither is getting my insides ripped out," Sonic retorted back, his exhaustion making him a bit cranky. Shadow ignored his tone of voice.
"You need to rest sometime," he pressed.
"I'm not going back there." Sonic shook his head and curled up on the couch, clutching

The rhythm pounded out rapidly, quickly changing from separate beats to one continuous note as the feet sped into a blur. Their owner was running, zigzagging across ever-changing landscapes, in an effort to get away from his pursuer.
Sonic the hedgehog was very determined not to get caught.
His vision was tunnelled, but he knew he was still being followed, from the ground ahead of him occasionally bursting into flames as unnatural red beams of light hit it. He leaped to one side mid-run to avoid another inferno, and pushed forwards, rocketing through a mountain village at breakneck speed, and shattering a good amount of their windows with the trailing sonic boom, before running up a pathway around the edge of a higher peak.
A much louder boom mimicked his, showing that his follower was getting bored of letting him evade the shots. Sonic turned his head to catch a glimpse of him...
...And promptly overshot the curve of the road.

Intertwine Chapter 1The hedgehog walked through the dark forest, it had been three days since her death, and he was now so filled with depression and hopelessness that he felt he'd never be happy again. As he walked up the path that led to their house, he starred at ground underneath his feet, it was pouring out and his fur was sticking to his skin, but he didn't care, he gave no notice, not even a twitch of the eye. For the past two days, his little brother and best friend, Miles Tails Prower had done everything in his power to try to help Sonic, but nothing seemed to to cure the hedgehog of the endless depression.Intertwine Chapter 16 years ago in Fan Fiction More Like This
The cobalt hedgehog slowly walked up the dirt path, which was now a mud path that led to their house. As he walked, he could smell the familiar aroma of chili and hot dogs. This barely caused a smile on the hedgehog's face, tails meant so much to him. It was thanks to him that he hadn't gotten lost in the state of depression that he was trying so hard to overcome. As he stepped ont
