i'll love you if you read my story~~~Hey guise :3 Erm, I made a short storyi'll love you if you read my story~~~2 years ago in Personal More Like This
It honestly sucks ass, but I don't give two shits C:
Welp, in the story, the guy and girl are both 15. That's honestly all I'm gonna say.
You'll catch on quite quickly if you read the whole damn thing.
Hope you enjoy~~~ lol please don't judge.
I'm way better at writing than this piece of shit:
"Shh.." Skylynn whispered. She pulled her finger from her lips and put her right arm down by my left. I wanted to grab her hand and say that everything's going to be all right. But it wasn't. Her father was coming through the doorway, drunk as ever. Straggling behind him were the laughs of a drunk woman.
As always, Skylynn had told me her father comes home drunk almost every night, with a woman he's met at the bar or club, and brings her home. Skylynn hides in the pantry, filled with warm beer, wine, and foul smelling cheeses, of the kitchen while her father, and the unknown woman, stumble into the house and drag themselves upstairs to his room.

Due to the DA Shitstorm over the recent changes in the once familiar website, I have formed Shitstorm-LLC, this page is dedicated to the inherent dissatisfaction by hundreds of thousands of users that have tolerated basic site updates – until one that seems to have been the proverbial “Straw that broke the Llamas back”
The new ICON
With all of the options available they seem to have denied the one that got them to where they once were, the original identifiable, unforgettable DA icon, one that was without a doubt representative of DA.
Now there is an unknown graphic symbol that cannot be symbolic of the original DA, let’s forget about the infamous endless explanation of the inception of the new icon, much too long and arduous to endure, for to quote thousands if you have to explain it, you already lost the point.

Who should do it?Once upon a time, there were four people. They had interesting names: Anybody, Somebody, Nobody and Everybody.Who should do it?3 years ago in Personal More Like This
One day, there was a person who was in need of help. Well, Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it. Anybody could have done the job and helped out, but Nobody did it. Everybody got angry and upset because it really was a job for Anybody. Everybody thought that Somebody would end up doing it, but Nobody realized that Nobody would actually help. So, Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could do.
When we see people on here who are hurting, do we often times dismiss them and say 'oh well, someone will note them' and what not? Or do we take a moment to reach out and let them know we care? I am not saying that you need to help EVERYONE, but why not note someone once a day who posts here and let them know you care and are willing to listen/help them out, if need be?
With love and respect,
PS: Feel free to note me , about anything!

for this poor little girl's suicide, I want to ask you this: HOW THE FUCK CAN YOU BE SO GODDAMN HEARTLESS?! (Lord forgive me for taking Your name in vain) This child took her life and you act like it's no big deal, and you just chuckle and laugh over it. This was the same kid who posted an anti-bullying video, spreading the awareness of other kids like herself being bullied. These kids, let alone her, don't deserve this shit. They don't deserve to die, and they don't deserve to suffer just like she did. She may have committed suicide, but still, her blood is on your hands, and you're too fucking stupid and soulless to see that. She was a really sweet daughter, granddaughter, niece, cousi
trying to escape writers blockSo I read this article about how to creatively escape writers block, so here is the exercise:trying to escape writers block3 years ago in Personal More Like This
-Your two main characters have to change a flat tire, in the rain. (This exercise helps you to learn more about your characters through handling adversitywhich can be very telling!)
And here is the result
"What the hell was that?"
"It was a bloody good jolt, that's for certainI think you might've gone off the road for a minute."
"Of course I didn't go off the road, you pratI'm not that bad of a driver."
"That's a good laugh, Crow. I've got a damn prosthetic and I drive better than youwait, what the hell are you slowing down for?"
"I'm not slowing down! I haven't even taken my foot off the gas!"
"Well what does it look like we're doing? Sara, pull over, for Christ's sake, I think we've got a flat tire."
"Bollocks, we're fine."
"Look out your window: we're hardly even moving!"
"I can't see out because of the goddamn rain!"

More Critical Thoughts on Art School + Career PathHey everyone, thanks for the info on San Francisco for those who live in / near there. It's a big thing for me to still be thinking about, so I'll definitely be coming in for a visit before I make any final decisions.More Critical Thoughts on Art School + Career Path3 years ago in Personal More Like This
Elsewhere, I've been meaning to do a short rant dealing with how I feel retrospectively having gone to art school. I've talked about having gone before, and I've given some advice about choosing a school that's right for you should you choose to go. But you know, having been out for a couple years now, there are a few glaring problems I see not just from the school I attended, but apparently from many schools nationwide. And this deals with offering students a clear path of study for the often specialized career they are looking to get into. Areas of art such as (concept) design, animation, comics/storyboarding/sequential, full-time freelance, and all-over jobs related to working in industry-level professional positions, or in a teamwork-oriented studio setting. SOPA/PIPA/ACTA! Where's FREEDOM?!!Godammit... :iconfacepalmplz:SOPA/PIPA/ACTA! Where's FREEDOM?!!3 years ago in Personal More Like This
What the hell is wrong with some people creating so many absurd bills like SOPA/PIPA and now this ACTA? (that particularly is scaring the hell out of me) >_<
About Piracy I totally agree with Neil Gaiman in this Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Qkyt1wXNlI
If sharing means piracy, then each one of you that has ever lent a book, a DVD, a Game or something else from a friend ARE ALL PIRATES! The only difference from normal sharing is that internet makes it grow to a global scale.
Has SOPA been put down or delayed? Keep your eyes open, please. Governments tend to wait until people forget things to act freely again. Or even try to put the same bill up but with a different sponsor and name.
But that ACTA does REALLY take the cake in matter of being ABSURD!!!
The things I read about it made me really pissed of. I see it more like a way the Governments will make use of to NOT LET THE COMMONERS LIKE US TO H

Apparel Collection: Raining IdeasIt’s so exciting when you’re in Creative Mode, and the ideas are just flowing out of you. It’s almost electric how one idea can spark the next and the next, and you’re creating as fast as your body can keep up. Don't hold it back! I created this shirt to shout from the clouds that it’s okay to let the ideas well up and storm onto your media! Share your ideas with your team, and let your collaborations really fill your mind and canvas with a deluge of output.Apparel Collection: Raining Ideas2 years ago in Personal More Like This
This illustration started with the intention of making a cute cloud into an energetic storm. I wanted the cloud to have the contour of a brain so the importance of the mind in the brainstorming process would be prevalent at first glance. The preliminary sketchbook drawings in ballpoint pen were a mix of adorable thunderheads and raining brains. Experimenting with the placement of the eyes and the shape of the cloud was fun. It was harder than I expected to get the sizes right and actually make the brai

how to revise poetryThere a decent number of very talented poets on dA and, if you’re willing to dig hard enough, you can find some truly excellent work.how to revise poetry3 years ago in Personal More Like This
If you’re not willing to dig hard, but you still browse around casually in some of the better administered groups, you’ll likely stumble upon a few excellent works and a good number of good works that impress you but that don’t quite make the top grade.
And if you just browse around the poetry on dA, giving no effort to separate the good from the bad, a too-large percentage of what you’ll come across is what I call Conceptually Reductive Adolescent Pettiness, or CRAP for short.
The secret to writing better poetry, whether you’re a beginner or a frequently published poet, is in how well you revise. Like most creative things, a great poem is 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration. The problem with really bad poetry is that it’s neither inspired or well ed

When recently asked how his political candidate would explain certain positions taken during the
nomination process with contrary positions to be taken during the general election, the campaign chief
replied that stated political positions were “like an Etch A Sketch,”—meaning they could simply be
flipped over, erased and begun over from scratch.
Were it that adult life were as simple as a happy Etch A Sketch memory from childhood.
(The campaign chief took heavy heat for his flippant, if truthful, statement.) The incident made
me wonder how many of us had early experiences as “sketch artists” with that incredible red toy that
has become almost standard issue for so many children still to this day.
