An artist on Twitter made this LOGO for me, based on my DeviantArt name "Rick Kills Pencils" using the FONT from Breaking Bad. He looked up the chemical equivalent to my name using the PERIODIC TABLE OF ELEMENTS AND CHEMICALS [link]
I added my photo, drawing of Walter White, website URL and his credits. I'm now using it as my Twitter Profile Photo (www.twitter.com/rickfortson)
Side note: When I joined DA, I wanted the name "Pencil Killer" because that's what people called me on StarsPortraits.com but it was taken. The meaning I wanted it to have was that I "USED" a lot of pencils, because I do. Now 2+ years later, it sounds a bit arrogant to me, but don't want to change it now, since everyone knows me by that name.
Yep, it's me! No idea why I've never drawn a self-portrait before. I guess 'cause usually I really hate photos of myself. I'm 24 years old, I'm 5'3", I weigh about 100lb, I have blue eyes, chipmunk cheeks, and green and blonde hair. About half the time, I dye my hair black, and the other half, some bright and unnatural colour.

I keep saying I won't keep posting self portraits but I am due for a new Deviant ID so thought this one was pretty cool. I walked into the frame and just stood there for the exposure. I was using the Hoya ND400 to allow such a long exposure and of course le' old Manfrotto.

I'm positively surprised, as I didn't really have too many problems with this work. Maybe it's because of it's simple composition or because I hadn't been drawing for such a long time, that it was simply a pleasure to hold a pencil in my hand again after such break.
Aaand... Hairhairhair! I want to draw a lot of hair! It was deffinately the most enjoyable part of this drawing for me.
Jump for joy! A photo of me taken by my friend Carmine Girolamo at Creative Pro Show. If you wish you can also read this interview I recently gave for Adobe Photoshop... _________________________________________________

'Set the controls for the heart of the sun'... Good old Pink Floyd song. Thought the title suited this image, seeing though I was getting ready for sunrise and madly getting excited. Not every day do I shoot sunrise..
This is actually full moon an hour before sunrise.
