Tutorial: Cosplay Boy Make-up IIThis is part two of the "Cosplay Boy make-up" tutorial. Make sure to read the first part as well. You can find it here: http://arulithia.deviantart.com/journal/Tutorial-Cosplay-Boy-Make-up-I-345246453
This part of the tutorial is mostly thanks to my wife chibinis-chan who did the modeling for it.
She is doing her eye make-up after applying basic make-up like shown before. She will show you one make-up with different colors. I'm holding this tutorial very short with just the steps as such because I already wrote all the tips for applying in the first part of this tutorial.
First she is using black kajal to draw a line on the eyelid and under the waterline of her right eye. The line under her eye is about 1/3 of the complete length of the waterline.
After this she uses brown eye shadow to blend it a lit
Tutorial: Cosplay Boy Make-up ISo, this is the first part of the "Cosplay boy make-up" tutorial. It has way too much text and pictures to put it into just one journal, so I will divide it.Tutorial: Cosplay Boy Make-up I2 years ago in Personal More Like This
As always~ English is not my native language so you might come across mistakes. My apologies! If anything is unclear feel free to ask me in the comments.
I'm just showing you what works for me and what's my personal liking. I'm focusing on eye make-up and additional tips. If you think this way of doing a boys cosplay make-up is is using way too much make-up that's totally fine. Everyone has his/her own preferences and this tutorial is just a hint who it can be done.
The shape of eyes differ a lot from one to another, so if you want to try it the way I do my make-up you might have to adjust it to your own eyes. Maybe you have already run into this problem before while seeing a well done eye make-up in a tutorial or worn by an asian cosplayer. Furthermore be aware of the fact that the shape of your eyebrows, wearing c

As said before: English is not my native language. I'm sorry for every mistake I made while writing. I'm just showing you what works for me. This is a "you can" tutorial and not "you must". I hope this gives you a basic idea on how I do it and helps you as well. I will not show you any brands of make-up I work with since they are different from country to country. I'm not a dermatologist or a professional make-up artist, so I can't give you tips for "problem skin" cases like acne and so on. Please consult a doctor and let them give you tips for what's best to use before buying something randomly
If you don't know what make-up to use out of the hilarious amount of available products in stores ask a vendor in the store of your choice. They will help you.
This tutorial will be the base for every upcoming make-up related tutorial I will post in the future.
First of all I clean my skin and apply vanishing crème. It's always good to do so
Tutorial: How to straighten a wigOkay, I promised to translate the tutorials I wrote some time ago and today I'm starting with "How to straighten a wig". Please notice English is not my native language, so you might run into spelling, grammar or punctuation mistakes. I'm really sorry and hope you're able to understand it anyways. If you run into any kind of problems while reading feel free to ask in the comments.Tutorial: How to straighten a wig2 years ago in Personal More Like This
If you are able to understand German you can go to my Animexx weblog and read it there :3 Unfortunately dA doesn't support embedding my pics into the text so I had to put them directly over/under the text. Sorry for that!
I'm just showing you what works for me, so this is a "you can try this" and not a "this is the only way you can do it".
As you might know wigs are made out of plastic fibers. Plastic is a heat bendable material, so this is the essence of the both methods I will show you. Styling your wig with heat will also work for curling it, making spikes and so on. Please be careful whenev

A warning to the people
One of the questions I get a lot are "who do you buy ____ from?"
I always assumed that all sites were pretty equal,
but I recently have been, and still am, dealing with a dispute form a contact website,
they have broken their our rules but still refusing to refund the purchase,
and because of the way they worded the product paypal is refusing to step up.
I'm pretty burned,
and I know others have been screwed over,
or have had major problems from dealing with people online.
As well as people who have had amazing experiences.
Here is my list,
A list of the Good and the one Ugly I have received.

We're over 80,000!?!? Aki Con and UpdatesI had noticed that our subscriber count on the FDP Youtube (http://www.youtube.com/user/fightingdreamerspro?feature=guide) account was getting close to hitting 80,000 last week but I figured that we had until after N2U before that happened. Yesterday I logged into the FDP Youtube account and realized (after a while because I'm always the last horse to cross the finish line XD) that we had hit 80,000!!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!! According to a 2005 census the city of Yalta has a population of 79, 982... THEREFORE, if we were ever challenged to a square dance by the city of Yalta WE COULD PAIR UP SORTA EVENLY 8DWe're over 80,000!?!? Aki Con and Updates2 years ago in Personal More Like This
But seriously... I love you guys. You've given us so much support whether it's through comments, drawings/gifts, notes, favourites/likes/retweets/reblogs, coming up to us to say hello at cons and even going out of your way to ask your local cons to invite us as guests... if I think about it for too long it blows my mind. It's incredible to me that there are people out there who like

Internet Etiquette (Edited with critique advice)Some people brought up some pretty important points, so I've added some additional information about critiques below!Internet Etiquette (Edited with critique advice)11 months ago in Personal More Like This
Something that's been bugging me a bit lately is how the DA community has sorta changed over the years (and not in a good way). People are more bold and will post whatever's on their mind, and while that can be a good thing in some scenarios, I feel that people oftentimes say things that they might not realize will hurt someone's feelings.
I generally get a lot of positive feedback, and it really helps! It's always great to know that someone likes my work, and it keeps me motivated to keep going with this hobby. However, I'm still a human being, and negative criticism can hurt me just as much as anyone else. I'm not sure what it is, but the amount of really negative comments has increased these past couple years, and it really discourages me from even using this website anymore. Many times I've considered just disabling comments entirely, but I feel that would
COSPLAY MAKEUP TUTORIAL!Hi guys!! Thank you as always to all watchers and everyone who faves and comments - I'm so sorry I don't have much time these days to reply to everything, but I definitely do read and appreciate them all!COSPLAY MAKEUP TUTORIAL!1 year ago in Personal More Like This
I've been asked so many times I've lost count to put together a makeup tutorial on how I do my cos makeup - and I finally did it!
I hope this is a little helpful, although some disclaimers - I have Caucasian features, so my makeup will be very different to someone with a different face shape. I use a lot of eyemakeup, much more than a lot of people, just because I do lol. My eyes a pretty big naturally, so I line them right up the edge, as opposed to widening the eye by drawing further out. A few things like that to bear in mind ^_^ That said, hope you enjoy! *chu*
Any questions please feel free to ask!

A small update on what's been going on!Hi guys! I feel like the last journal I did was soooo negative! So I wanted to write a positive one. Hahaha.A small update on what's been going on!2 years ago in Personal More Like This
We haven't really been very active the last couple of months, but that's basically because we have wanted to work a lot on our new costumes for this summer so that we can actually get some sleep the week before every con!
We're super excited about this years cosplay summer! A lot of new things that we haven't done coming up!
I have written all the series that we will do down in my latest poll http://godirtypop.deviantart.com/journal/poll/2824600/! It would make me really happy if you would vote and maybe comment on if you want us to do any particular pairings or shots with particular characters so we know what you guys want to see <3
I thought I'd just share some progress shots of things we're working on and some candid shots from small photoshoots!
Most of them I have posted on my tumblr (which I update everyday) http://godirtypop.tumblr.com/
Also! The magazine :iconcosplay-
Anime Revolution 2013 ReviewJust like the Animethon review this review is pretty late too XD and just as with all of my other reviews I have to cut out so many details and special mentions otherwise this would go on forever. Too amny amazing things and good times happened XDAnime Revolution 2013 Review9 months ago in Personal More Like This
Anime Revolution was at the end of August and it was the first con that FDP has been together at in a long time. It was amazing not just to spend time with and run panels with the group but also to hang out with so many of our friends from Vancouver. We also got to see many people from Vancouver and abroad again and we got to meet many people from all over who came to AR this year for the first time!!! I can't thank everyone who attended our events/panels and came up to us to say hi and ask for photos enough. Thank you all so much for your support it was an absolute pleasure and honour to meet everyone we met this year and to get to see familiar faces again.
As with last year Anime Revolution was professionally run by staff who were bus
Banzaicon 2013 Re-CapFirst off, WOW. Thank you guys so much for the amazing support on my newly opened wig commissions. In less than 24 hours I had filled all of my slots. I am still accepting commissions though! There's just a bit of a lineup. And you never know some people may drop out so I will keep things going as swiftly as I canBanzaicon 2013 Re-Cap1 year ago in Personal More Like This
NOW! On to Banzaicon! This con re-cap is LONGGG OVERDUE! But April was just such a whirlwind month for us.
Banzaicon was even more amazing than it was last year, which was hard to do because last year was PRETTY DAMN AMAZING. This con has one of the best staff that I have encountered at cons. Everyone really truly cares about the quality of the con and the enjoyment of all of the attendees. It blows me away each year when I see their committment and philosophy around Banzaicon. And let's not forget the attendees!!! EVERYONE IS SO WONDERFUL AND SO WELCOMING!!! You guys all make this con as awesome as it is thank you so much for having us! <3

My surgery was a HUGE success! I've had to be careful with standing too much, running and jumping the past couple of weeks but now when I walk the pain searing through my foot through my ankle up into my hip is gone. After six years of living with that constant pain I am beyond thrilled. ;3;
Thank you guys for all your encouraging comments on my last journal entry, it gave me alot of courage when I went intro surgery. <3
This was screwed tight in my ankle joint for six years, sorry if anyone is sensetive.
On another note I just got elected for the Swedish Cosplay Championships. (http://cosplaysm.se/finalister-2012/) I didn't sign up thinking that I'd actually get to co
