What do you guys of new girl Clara in Dr Who ?Well, we've just had our 4th episode featuring Clara [or rather 2nd in the case of modern day Clara], and I curtainly like her very much. I think she's a very worthy successor to the late Amy and Rory. What do you guys of new girl Clara in Dr Who ?2 months ago in Personal More Like This
Her first appearance in Asylum of the Daleks, which was very unexpected cos at the time we was told she was not appearing until Christmas back in 2012, was quite enjoyable. She appeared very flirty and quite funny in my view, and curtainly developed some memorable lines such as "Pop ya shirt off, quick as ya like" to "Is there a world for total screaming geniuses that sounds modest and a tiny bit sexy" and even the rather funny "Lovely name Rory . . . . first boy I ever fancied was called Rory . . . . actually she was called Nina, that's going through a phase", and I certainly liked her very much so, even if sadly this version of Clara died
Victorian Clara was also very likeable and funny, but not as flirty as the first version of Clara, but did have her moments . . . . . until she di

JOURNEY TO THE CENTRE OF THE TARDIS
The TARDIS has crashed, Clara is lost inside, and the Doctor has 30 minutes before his ship explodes!.
[This will be the 99th episode of modern day Doctor Who. Really should be the 100th in my view.]
THE CRIMSON HORROR
Something ghastly is afoot in Victorian Yorkshire, as bodies are found with their skin a waxy, glowing red.
NIGHTMARE IN SILVER
Hedgewick's World of Wonders: the perfect theme park day out - and ground zero for a deadly silver resurrection.
[The new breed of Cybermen features in this story. I wonder if 1 2006 version will be shown creating them ?.]
UNTITLED FINALE
Someone is kidnapping the Doctor's friends, leading him towards the one place in all of time and space that he should never go.

10th Dr and Rose back in DW for 50th AnniversaryCopied from the BBC's official website [thanks to Deviant Art user Tjevo 9 for telling me and leaving a link to the story10th Dr and Rose back in DW for 50th Anniversary3 months ago in Personal More Like This]
David Tennant and Billie Piper will appear in the 50th anniversary special of Doctor Who, the BBC has confirmed.
Tennant was the 10th Doctor and Piper played his on-screen companion Rose Tyler in the BBC One show.
Filming on the show, which will also star John Hurt, will start next week.
Tennant's successor, Matt Smith - also in the special with his new assistant played by Jenna-Louise Coleman - says fans "will not be disappointed" by the 3D show, due to air on 23 November.
Tennant and Piper have long been rumoured to be making a return for the special, which is being written by the show's executive producer and lead writer Steven Moffat.
In January, Piper, appearing on the Graham Norton show, denied she would be appearing.
"I wasn't asked, no," she said.
"I think Matt Smith may have said, in passing or in jest, it would be nice.

8 NEW DOCTOR WHO EPISODES - 1 DAY TO GO !!!!!!!!!!I'm so glad series 7 of Doctor Who finally returns this Saturday after tomorrow, it feels like so many months since the Christmas Specials [only 3 months offcourse], and boy I can't wait to see new girl Clara in action with the Doctor, in the brand new, sexy [and VERY classic series style] Tardis Console Room !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!8 NEW DOCTOR WHO EPISODES - 1 DAY TO GO !!!!!!!!!!3 months ago in Personal More Like This
Tomorrow I'm going to re-watch 'Asylum of the Daleks' and 'The Snowmen', purely for that fact that Clara is a new character and also happens to be the same woman in those 2 previous stories just mentioned, and also the mystery of who is Clara and how come there are 2 other versions of her who led totally different lives and died in different ways, yet still the same woman is quite an interesting mystery worth discovering over the coming 8 Saturday's . . . . . . . . so yeah, bring on the 8 final episodes of series 7, bring on Clara, bring on the exciting journey to the centre of the Tardis and bring on a new breed of Cybermen that look like they've cross-bred

According to website Blogtor Who -
Steven Moffat has been interviewed in the most recent edition of US magazine Entertainment Weekly. In it, the current showrunner reveals that his time on the show may be coming to an end; Moffat states:
"I just take it a year at a time. It is knackering work. I've stopped writing other shows before, and you just want to leave - not that you hate it, but just 'I'm done'."
ALSO . . . .
Blogtor Who also says -
Actress Jenna-Louise Coleman, new companion Clara Oswald, has been talking about Doctor Who Series 8 and has revealed that there could be a substantial amount of time before it appears on our screens. She said:
"There could be a big gap until the next series. I think the writer Steven Moffat is off doing Sherlock and there'll be a lot of preparation for the 50th anniversary special."
Well hey, if Steven stopped

I'm referring to the Dalek Intensive Care scene. Inside each cage is a Time War Dalek [typical of the Dalek Asylum to be full of those particular Daleks . . . . . BUGGERS !!].
The Doctor asks Clara what's so special about those particular Daleks, and Clara mentions the following planets from the classic series -
Spiridon [Planet of the Daleks]
Kembel [Mission to the Unknown]
Exxilon [Death to the Daleks]
Aridius [The Chase]
Vulcan [The Power of the Daleks]
Know like me, it's possible you yourself was also shouting at your TV screen "BUT THOSE ARE THE WRONG DALEKS YOU STUPID BITCH !!!!!", but let's not blame Clara, it's the makers fault who wrote the story [and I didn't really shout that out and call the lovely lady a bitch, just so we are clear on that]
So obviously your thinking to youself 'But th

Well for one thing – Rule 1: THE DOCTOR LIES.
I don't believe what he told Clyde in the Sarah Jane Adventures story 'Death of the Doctor', so rule 1 defiantly applies there.
From what we do know about regeneration -
A Time Lord can only regenerate 12 times, granting them 13 total incarnations.
Before the Time War, Time Lords could be granted a complete new life cycle of regenerations, so if you added a Time Lords used up number of 13 lives with 13 more given to them in a new life cycle, then you'd get 26 incarnations of a Time Lord in all [13+13=26].
River Song has perhaps only used up 2 regenerations already as seen in 2 episodes of Doctor Who [Day of the Moon / Let's Kill Hitler] , and she then gave the rest to

Oh I miss the RTD era of Doctor Who.My mum was watching BBC's 'Casualty' last night, and Doctor Who's Annita Badland who played Margret Blane who turned out to be Slitheen, appeared in the episode, and since I'm not fan of medical drama's, I went up stairs to read the script for Doctor Who's - Series 1's 'Boomtown' which her character returned in for just that 1 episodeOh I miss the RTD era of Doctor Who.7 months ago in Personal More Like This
I enjoyed reading the script so much that it made me think how much I miss Russell T. Davies's era of Doctor Who.
To be honest, I find Russell's era of Doctor Who much more enjoyable then Steven Moffat's current era of the show [am I the only one who thinks Moffat's making Doctor Who for himself ?]
So Ive decided to enjoy during the next 6 days watching all 30 episodes Russell had written during his glorious time in charge of the show by watching 5 episodes per day on DVD.

Review- DW - Journey to the centre of the TardisWell I certainly enjoyed the episode, the best story for the Tardis since Neil Gaiman's the Doctor's Wife !!Review- DW - Journey to the centre of the Tardis2 months ago in Personal More Like This
I was quite surprised to see the Doctor's Cot from 'A good man goes to war' . . . . . that I was not expecting, and I curtain did not expect to see the Telescope from series 2's 'Tooth and Claw' which I assume is a Tardis recreation of the Telescope from that episode.
Nice to see what the ships Architectural Reconfiguration System looks like, not what I expected either.
I am confused regard the Eye of Harmony. Now as I understand it, the Eye of Harmony was the name of a black hole that Rassilon himself trapped under the Panopticon on Gallifrey, and every Tardis had a link to the eye itself [like in the TV Movie], but after the Time War, the eye surely no longer exists, and the Doctor instead has to use something like the rift in Cardiff to fuel the Tardis, yet this episode something that I'm sure the Doctor referred too as the Eye of Harmony, so I'm quite confused right now a

Doctor Who - Series 8: No splits please Moffat !!!Well, Doctor Who is very nearly back with the 2nd half of series 7 . . . . . and boy I hope that once this series has come to an exciting end, series 8 will follow on soon after, and hopefully NOT be split into 2 halfs.Doctor Who - Series 8: No splits please Moffat !!!3 months ago in Personal More Like This
Back in 2011 we had series 6 split in half, so you had 1 half split before the summer and other half after the summer had ended.
This time around with series 7 we've had half back last year in 2012 and the other half shortly in the here and now of 2013.
But I'm hoping that once series 7 has ended, Steven Moffat will come to his senses and not split series 8 in half, cos the true is, we don't like the show split in half over the course of a year or 2, we prefer modern Doctor Who being shown as a full 13 part series with no interruptions what so ever week by week for a full on 13 Saturdays just like it used to be with series 1 to 5, and then later nearing the end of the year have the traditional Christmas Special.
Hopefully by the time series 8 comes along, which I imagin

It's about the Tardis's soul and the Time Vortex energy.
In series 1's finale 'Bad Wolf / The Parting of the Ways' ,Rose absorbs the energy of the Time Vortex, and declares "I looked into the Tardis, and the Tardis looked into me".
Few years later, the soul of the Tardis is removed from the Tardis herself, and placed inside the body of a woman called Idris.
Now this is what I wan't to know - Is the soul of the Tardis and the Time Vortex energy one and same thing ?.
I doubt it offcourse, but it's just Ive had this feeling ever since the original broadcast of 'The Doctors Wife' that the Time Vortex energy happens to be the Tardis's soul itself which was placed inside Idris, and seeing as we don't fully know everything about the Tardis, it is somewhat confusing, plus the Time Vortex is just a vortex that allows the Tardis to travel though time, yet Rose uses it to destroy the Daleks, their ships and their Emperor.
Then again who knows, ma

The Doctor Who 50th Celebration Weekend will be held at ExCeL in London, beginning on Friday, 22 November, with tickets for over 15,000 fans.
More details about the Doctor Who 50th Celebration Weekend, including guests, intinerary, ticket prices and booking information will be revealed soon, alongside a host of other surprises. Fans should sign up to the doctorwho.tv newsletter to be the first to hear about plans for the celebration.
This sounds very exciting. The ExCel Centre is the home of the awesome 3 day London MCM Expo events I have sometimes mentioned, which normally take place on the final weekend of May and October every year, with this May's Expo taking place on Friday 24th to Sunday 26th May 2013

I'm personally not going to keep my hopes up, cos when it comes to stuff about Doctor Who being made into a film these days, they tend to be just rumours or utter nonsense.
Plus, in my own personal view, 3D just does not work well with films, so Doctor Who in 3D is a waste of time. I saw the film 'Cat's and Dog's 2 - The Revenge of Kitty Galore' or whatever it was called years ago at the Cinema, that film was in 3D, but it just looked naff. I keeped having to adjust my 3D glasses while watching the film and it barely looked 3D, so I got fed up with the glasses and tried to enjoy the rest of the film without wearing them.
I never went to see Star Wars - Episode I - The Phantom Menace in 3D either for that very reason.
3D in my view only works best with posters and photographs, such as these random 3D images you can find on Google https://www
