Das Blut rot Nacht (Poetry)The air is clear, but then is white.
A beautiful whisp in a frozen sky.
As gone as quick as it was made be.
A wonderful thing it is to be free.
A sound, a noise, a glimpse of fate.
Aproacing at speed, with no love or hate.
A monster of steel, no emotion to show.
A streak of white light that leaves scars in the snow.
As the scars get deeper and the enemy aproaches.
My consious starts reeling with fear most abundant.
A impact, a pain, flying up through the air.
White, red, black, the order goes.
A mother, a daughter, left in tears.
A puddle, a resting place, no more fears.
Heartless, Souless, again and again.
The monsters keep coming to carry out their sin.
A splatter, another, as all goes black.
A consiousness fading in the silver night.
A family weeps as it will for years.
A sheilding of eyes as come more tears.
A scream wreakes the night as a body flows.
Disrespected, forgotten, all alone.
Once a model now a empty shunned soul.

we either nurture or harm her
so we chose
to feed her judgement until
she was full of shame,
bloated by bruisers
or by blinking onlookers,
we insouciant passersby.
we watch her petals pull and fall--
why not give gravity hands;
it has none while she has some
to curl into a brittle defense, to fight
back fruitlessly in the corner of the garden
from which we witnessed her sprout
so green, so vibrant-- delicacies of hope.
yet she leaves naivety in too swift a turn,
burned red to yellow to dead grey.
it is the natural order of things,
for her to shrivel as winter shrugs by
but we could have been spring.

to the one wandering out there in this universe,
gazing at that cluster of stars, maybe Jupiter.
To a gaping pair of eyes watching that vibrant glow of light...
emerging from the arch of the half lit moon tonight.
How I wish I could see those glistening eyes,
beaming at the celestial radiance in the sky.
I bet they're so bright at the tip of the night,
I wonder when it is that we will collide in this life...
Can you see those nebulous clouds?
The ones moving swiftly without any sound.
They sneaked through the night and came so soon,
and in my mind it is barely even noon.
Peering out at the blackness; bleak stillness of space...
These restless nights have me asking, "Is it real or is it fake?"
How anything standing out in the nook of my sight,
could ever be a reflection of you're colourful eyes.
I would see Ursa smoking a cigar,
and so many comets carefully carved.
Fireworks blown out of your eyelids,
in those galaxy filled irises.

I like the fact that it's, gonna rain,
I like the fact that I am, gonna do,
All the things, that I couldn't,
Tomorrow's gonna be, a shiny day,
I'll walk down the path,
That will never fade away,
Oh, I'll do,
All the things, that I couldn't,
Tomorrow's gonna be, a joyful day,
All the wars are gonna stop,
Cuz they make no sense,
Oh, I'll make sure to do,
All the things that I couldn't,
You, yes you,
May not trust a word I say.
But hey, who said that miracles,
Can't happen in a day? x2
Tomorrow world will be, a new place,
People will gather, to stand against,
All the things that ain't right,
And it will be just, like the bright, clear light.
You, yes you,
May not trust a word I say.
But hey, who said that miracles,
Can't happen in a day?

and swear to do my best.
I will give all that I have,
and then I'll give the rest.
I pray I'll make it far,
I'll be among the best.
But is there then return?
One can only guess.
Freedom Isn't free,
None can find their rest.
Everyone must free themself.
That's the final test
To my GOD,
To my FAMILY,
That even in my darkest hour.
I will never lose my sight.
Never lose my sight of the light.
The light at the end of the tunnel.
I will never lose that light.
And never will I surrender.
Not to my self.
Not to my enemys.
Tonight I burn my white flag.
Freedom is mine.
Let me help you friend!
As this poetry unravels to raving.
You too can be free!
Let me teach you.
And then we will fly!
Reality is meant to be fractured.
Else why would it exist?
Wipe your blood,
Dry you tears,
No matter what they tell you,
And trust me, they'll tell you.
And let these words unite us!
Honesty - a blog (kind of)I put my earphones in, and listen to the music I have always held dear. Songs that make me shiver with accurateness or ravish with delight at its simplicity. Songs I could never have dreamed of singing, or ever having produced myself. What a beautiful tool music is. Its ability to either make the listener have the most enthralling dream or the most feverish nightmares, figuratively speaking, is something that must’ve amazed so many across the globe. And yet, here am I, experiencing the very same thing.Honesty - a blog (kind of)2 years ago in Editorial More Like This
What am I? I am a listener, that’s all I ever do, and occasionally I spit out words, always doubting whether I can achieve the same effect as I described earlier. What I want is the emotions flowing through my veins transcribed into a mutual understanding with my reader, if I have any. That is not to say I put my deepest feelings in it, surely, but it does come close to it. And what else is there for me but to write? I am incapable of ever learning how to play an instrument.

Slowly but surely stunning, a richness stark
Providing a reason to live, killing the dark
And this is the truth of all, unforgettable
If I were Endymion, studying the stars
Outside, the moon counting my seven severed scars
I bequeath my soul to you, this lone night is ours
This is truly it, a love irrepressible
I see two deep sky blue celestial bodies
Passing your moon, the life it embodies
My Selene, visit me in my sleep, five poppies
For they represent my sleep and my peace, my love
The death of earthly hope is here to take me high
Would your one eternal kiss finally be nigh?
Would you be mine when I in my last slumber lie?
It cannot be, I’m far down and she’s high above
Sky clad in the feverish night I pray to you,
For you are both woman and divine, through and through
Bless me now with your lavish light of silver hue
The bright Selene, an ocean of contemplation

Brings back the memory of me
Once working, contending for a cause
That is now unknown and ceased to exist
So very long ago.
Instead, it is the iridescent jewel
Attempting a full glow and thereby blinding
The most severe cases of humankind
What comes close to that ever-forgotten
Dream of mine.
Stand up and scream
Why not fill thy lungs with air and
Let the world know how it’s mistreated
This fading alter ego, whom
You’d adore so much.
The world doesn’t care
In the mists of the empty forest
Only howls, and nothing more
Hollow words and void phrases
Its return too was in vain
When the playground swing
Was the tool of creation
Its destruction was imminent
Not a child played.
Now it might seem a disaster
And all the war in the world
but truth never called itself
by its real name, did it now
And what is it?
It is the dawn of a new era
Where one would frighten you
and simultaneously delight you
with the ecstasy of a broken mind
Animal Abuse PoemThere sits a cat,Animal Abuse Poem3 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
His paws on the curb,
Not a cat on a mat,
For he has no home,
And there lies a lion,
Up to his belly in water,
His mane in rags,
Dead eyes thereafter,
And there dances a bear,
With chains on his legs,
A ring in his nose,
And a stick in his ribs,
And there stands a dog,
His ribs broken,
His flesh torn,
A rope around his jaws,
And all lay down,
And closed their eyes,
And there lies the animals,
With no soul behind their eyes.
Tiger drama in local ZOO + animals - PHOTOSHi people!Tiger drama in local ZOO + animals - PHOTOS2 years ago in Personal More Like This
Once more sorry for low activity. Thesis, thesis. Thesis. Thesis. DIES.
Today a white tiger in Czech ZOO Liberec attacked a young guy (he was on practise, not a visitor), who was saved thanks to bravery of two female keepers who hit the cat with some bucket to get his attention. The tiger escaped from the exhibit, so three people, all of them injured by the tiger, stayed inside the cage. The tiger was shot with some drugs and went limp. Fortunately, this whole accident seems to have a happy end, injuries are not severe and the tiger has not been harmed. Just wow, huh... Drama!
Finally a feature for Kiriban winner and then some animal photos. Please keep your fingers crossed for me, so I can finish my thesis soon. Thank you!

Vote against aerial gunning of wolves in AlaskaUPDATE: The poll is now closed. Thanks for participating, everyone.Vote against aerial gunning of wolves in Alaska4 years ago in Personal More Like This
Please take some time to take part in a poll on whether the Board of Game on the Kenai Peninsula (southern Alaska) should adopt aerial predator control measures for wolves. One should think that it's clear by now that the aerial gunning has proven to be effective to kill wolves, but absolutely ineffective to "save moose" like it's always claimed to be.
The local newspaper "Peninsula Clarion" has the poll up on their website at < poll closed > - the voting is quite close, with a narrow majority of voters opposing such aerial control measures.
In support of an action alert from the Alaska Wildlife Alliance, please help and make sure you vote "No" on this poll. Let's take a stand against such plans and turn the voting result into a clear sign against such measures!

You will find the poll on the right hand panel.
