So on Saturday I went to J-Con with my sister and finally got to meet Masako in person! For those who don't know, I used to make Masako's Anifile titlecard pics, from the Top 10 to the Madoka review :3

I got to wear Masako's hat too! X3 Was such an awesome day, got some nice stuff which I posted pics of on my tumblr, but I also spent a while of the day just sat talking to Masako, and it was really nice ^.^ His panel was awesomeness too, so glad I managed to go

invited me to share an artists table with him and his friend Alan, at the 2011 Long Beach Comic Con. And by very good fortune, we bumped into actor Walter Jones, multiple times throughout the convention weekend.

Walter Jones is best known for his role as Zack, the original Black Ranger, from "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers". And like most of my experiences with Power Ranger actors and actresses, he was a positively awesome fellow all around.

Walter was pleasantly surprised however when I mentioned his other television roles, like in the sitcom "Family Matters" during its heyday (before Disney bought it, and made it TOO Urkel centric). And from the Nickelodeon science fiction series "Space Cases", which he had a true leading role in.

For the fond childhood memories, I inked out this Woolly Mammoth picture for him as a pure gift of gratitude. And in return, he allowed me to take a photo with him and some Zack-related props, free of charge.

This is of course, a photo collage of this particular high point, AND YES, that's yours truly, towering above poor Walter like some sort of Knasty Knight or Slimy Spider monster.
