You tossed and turned, staring blankly through the darkness at the ceiling. For some reason, you couldn't sleep. You got out of bed, pulling on your coat over your bed clothes. You padded quietly through the halls of Tifa's bar, climbing up some stairs, and out onto the roof. You stared up at the stars, you pointed you finger up to the sky, tracing your favorite constellation. Then your hand falls back into your lap. You smile softly as the wind ripples through your hair.
After a while, you decide it is time to return to your room. You pad quietly through the hallways. As you reach your door, you smile in amusement. Cloud is slumped against you door, fast asleep. You would never admit it to the outside world, but you really like Cloud. You bend down over him, and plant a gentle kiss on his forehead, taking the letter clutched firmly in his hand, addressed to you. You pull a couple of coins out of your pocket. They ought to be more than sufficient to pay Cloud

Now, I know I hate hospitals but this was an emergency. Fang and I were in the back of the ambulance while the 2 paramedics worked on my babies. Fang held me closely, crying silently as I cried onto his t-shirt.
When we got to the hospital the paramedics rushed our babies into the emergency room where they were carted off by nurses.
I tried to follow them, only to be told I would have to wait in the reception until the doctors could come. Not really a wise move, as it left me with just my mind, and I was not thinking very coherently at the moment.
So here I was again, sitting in some hospital waiting area waiting for news on my children. Only this time I had Max with me and not the rest of the Flock.
I looked down to see Max, silently crying and whispering. She was praying. I could only just here her words even with my raptor hearing. She was saying
Oh please God, please let my babies survive this, please let them
