During the first day of school at Ba Sing Se Highschool, each student was asked to write an essay about themselves, how they think people see them and who they really are.
Hi, I'm Katara Mizu. I'm 15 and from the Southern Water Tribe. I also have an older brother. His name is Sokka. Our mom died when my brother and I were very young. Our dad is a soldier who is away a lot. Since our parents aren't around, our grandmother takes care of us. We're not exactly the richest people in the world but we get by.
I don't really know what people think of me. I guess I'm kind of invisible. I kind of like it because that way, no one judges you. No one ostracizes you. Most importantly, no one tries to bring you down. Sure, I feel insignificant especially when I do something good but no one notices but hey, I'll get over it.
Who am I? Well, I'm just a student who's trying to do her best in school so that one day, she can make her family proud. I'm pretty smart and I'

Katara took a deep breath as she read the sign of the building in front of her. White Lotus Studios, it said in giant gold, green and white letters. It was her first day as an intern for the writer's department. She started walking to the entrance and tried to ignore her nerves which were slowly eating her up inside.
Once she closed the double doors behind her, she was met by a large room with couches on every wall and an information desk on one corner. The walls were a shade of calming yellow and on them hung several framed posters of the studio's most famous movies and television shows. Chewing her gum and reading a fashion magazine, a girl with a small ponytail sat behind the desk. Katara headed over to her and cleared her throat. The girl looked up and put her magazine away.
"May I help you?" she asked, popping her gum.
"Uh, yeah H-Hi umm " Katara stuttered. Her nerves were winning.
The Ponytail girl chuckled and

Aang and Toph slowed to a fast walk so Katara could catch up. Toph snorted. "Sugar Queen, that's not what we're running for, believe me."
"Then what's the reason?"
Aang gave Katara a sad smile. "We think you should see for yourself, rather than have us tell you. We just found out like ten minutes ago. So we can't tell you all the details."
She looked at him puzzled then rolled her eyes. "Is it some crazy senseless drama?" She hated drama. She paused while her eyes widened. "It is. Wait then does it involve me or something?"
Toph just smirked. "Oh ho ho, like you wouldn't believe, Sugar Queen. Now come on! We gotta hurry!" Toph grabbed Aang and Katara's hands and sped off toward the cafeteria. They ran throu

"It's so beautiful." She whispered to her father as they both glanced out of the palanquin. Zuko smiled happily at his daughter. Katara would be grateful to hear that he had brought his daughter to the South Pole with him. She had written him letters by the dozens requesting for her to come and spend life outside of the palace.
The palanquin suddenly touches land and Honoura shoots out from the curtains and into a white world as to which she has never known. She was born in the sticky dawn of summer and had never gone a day where sweat didn't run down her jaw line, the salty taste in her mouth. The snow here was so thick it practically blinded her. The sun reflected off the white dunes creating a rainbow effect of tiny shards and sparkles. She gasped in awe of it all.

Korra was trying hard not to break down in front of Mako.
They had been imprisoned together in a small, windowless cell made entirely of metal for almost six hours. They had no idea what was going on, where Bolin was, who had imprisoned them, or why. They were both tired, exhausted, hungry, and worried. Very worried.
Mako wasn't speaking at all. He was just pacing endlessly. The Chi Blockers had taken away his bending temporarily, but he was slowly gaining it back. He could also still move his limbs. He'd examined every square inch of their cell, looking for a weak spot, a loose panel, anything. He found none.
Korra was trying to get her bending back as well. Even though she could fight without it, she wanted every single advantage she could possibly have, in case the Chi Blockers returned. She kept repeatedly snapping her fingers and watching as a flame would sizzle to life and then quickly die out. It was hopeless. Whoever led the Chi Blocke

of being sick, of taking a bad fall
of big, fanged bats with leathery wings
the fights I hear through my bedroom wall.
By day my fears might go away,
and then I am happily free,
but at night they might come back to play,
I’m afraid of things, they’re real to me.
I tell my mother, she says ‘don’t worry!’
My father says there’s nothing to fear.
They don’t see, they’re in a hurry,
but to me the dangers are all too clear.
Some say my worries have no ground,
that of fear I know nothing yet.
But what if I lose homework, and it’s never found,
or something happens to my favorite pet?
My teacher laughs, she says I’m funny,
she doesn’t know this gives me pain.
She tells me to make each day sunny,
she doesn’t know it sometimes rains
Bugs crawl into my ears at night
big mean dogs, a bad story-elf,
and at morning the bugs take flight
but through the night I’m by myself.
Mako Loves Korra"Well? Are you going to Asami's or what?" Bolin asked.Mako Loves Korra3 years ago in Profiles More Like This
Mako knew he couldn't answer. He was too choked up-right in front of his brother.
"Mako?" asked Bolin. He never saw him like this. Bolin took this as a bad sign. Mako was still silent, lost in thought. Bolin sat down next to him. Slowly, Bo put his arm around him.
"You can tell me anything," said Bolin. Silence filled the room. "Bo... I... I don't know what to do," Mako admitted. "I... I don't know. Asami is beautiful and amazing but I just... something's not right," he added.
This added to Bolin's confusion and frustration. He knew Mako loved Korra, but he wouldn't admit it. Why was his brother so butt-headed? Even though Asami was everything Mako said she was, it still didn't feel right that she was with him.
Bolin put both his hands on Mako's shoulders. He turned Mako around to face him. Mako's hazel eyes shone in the moonlight, only to be filled with worry, sadness-and even love.
"I can see right through you. Tell

Mako took a deep breath and touched the door for a moment. He knocked three times and waited patiently.
You may come in. " Korra's voice responded almost in a odd gloomy tune.
He stepped inside first, with Bolin and Asami following closely behind.
They were met with Korra, facing away from the door at first. "Can I please come out to the party now!? If you are going to pour make up on me, one more time, I know for a fact my face is going to fall off."
She turned with a look of exhaustion and a hint of annoyance toward their door way. It was in that moment, Korra eyes widen as she let out a tiny gasp. She blinked a few times and shook her head.
"No way." She whispered as she closed her eyes hard and then opened them gently. "It is!"
Her sapphire blue eyes widened in pure shock as they met with the surprised golden yellow ones. The two stared at each other, for what seemed like eternity until Korra t

Naga raced through the dirty streets of Republic City, skidding as she turned the corners. Korra leaned over her, bouncing in the saddle, the reins tight in her grip. The air rushed against her face, sending her hair flying back behind her and filling her lungs with the city's polluted air.
How could she let this happen? She had to get there now. She had to go faster. She had to.
She pushed Naga into a sprint.
She'd never been on this side of the city, and she could see why. It was an old industrial center, back from when the city first took root, and most of the buildings were now abandoned. Their companies followed Future Industries when they planted their new home in another district. Glass windows had been broken in. Doors were boarded up. She didn't want to think about how many orphans were curled up inside some of these buildings, huddling together, willing themselves warm.
Korra pressed Naga on, and her eyes

After winning their semi-finals match and advancing to the championship game, Korra and Bolin had insisted on going out to celebrate. Sure, Mako was ecstatic that they had dominated the Buzzard Wasps, but he didn't particularly see the need to 'go public' with his emotions regarding the tournament. His teammates disagreed wholeheartedly, and had somehow succeeded in dragging him out to the popular Moon Peach jazz club on the west side of the city.
His idea of a celebration was something a bit more quiet, more relaxing, without all the people, and it certainly was packed tonight. When they'd arrived, there had been a substantial number of people, but once word got out that the Avatar was out at the Moon Peach, people came flooding in. Honestly, Mako just wanted to spend time alone with Korra. But he refused to join in and dance, so he stood on the side of the action, leaning against the

Don't forget to fav this if you're a fan of the Movie.
With all the recent buzz about the trilogy still alive---Facebook page added new wordless Aang poster last week that's caused a lot of hype (and of course Frank Marshall declared that the trilogy is not cancelled) and a Spring-2012 article of M. Night talking about TLA2---I'm definitely happy for M. Night. But it would be unfair & unjust if M. Night has to design TLA2 as a sequel to the version of the movie that's NOT the Original True Version he made for us fans. (I'm talking about the version he filmed in 2009 before Paramount/Viacom forced him to do the all the reshooting in early 2010 just so the movie could be shorter for sake of cheaper 3D conversion)
Maybe there's still a chance to convince Paramount/Viacom to let M. Night release his original epic version of the movie before he starts making TLA2 (which is supposedly after he's done with "After Earth")....That way, M. Night can make

Korra slouched into the courtyard, yawning. She had a bending session with Tenzin today, but he wasn't there yet. Oh, well, she figured. Might as well just relax and wait for him to get here.
Stretching, she walked over to a large boulder before settling down on it. Her mind wandered and she found herself thinking about the numerous Chi Blocker attacks around the city. According to Chief Bei Fong, those attacks had almost TRIPLED since Korra had come to the city. She had actually made a request for Korra to "lay low," and stay out of the city for awhile, to see if that helped. Korra groaned. Some Avatar she was- she couldn't even stop rebellions happening right next door- right next city, actually.
Korra laid down flat on the boulder and stared at the sky. From habit, she started thinking about the time that Chi Blockers had captured her, Mako and Bolin . She'd been so worried about Bolin- if he was okay, where he was, how he was doing. She'd been so scared that she would

Mako paced himself back and forth in the living room while he muttered incoherent words only to scowl after words. Bolin was on the couch, watching how deeply troubled and hurt his big brother was and was trying to think of ways to call him down. Nothing seemed to work. Asami, who was in the kitchen, decided to make some tea and settle everyone's nerves.
"This wasn't supposed to happen " Mako finally stated as he stopped in front of a wall. "I just don't get it."
Bolin stood up from the couch and rubbed his neck. "Bro, I understand you are beyond confused and angry but please try to calm down.-"
"Calm down?" Mako mocked as he clenched his teeth. "How on earth am I supposed to calm down? I just found out today that not only is Korra the future heir of the Southern Water Tribe but now she is also engaged to another man. She is going to marry another man. Tell me, Bolin. If Asami was in

"Hey Mako! Hey Bolin!" Asami exclaimed as she went opened the door, without knocking, and went straight to Bolin's arms.
Bolin graced her with his charming huge smile and held Asami in his arms. "Hello my princess."
"Ugh. Cut the mushy stuff guys. I just had breakfast." Mako scowled at the two lovebirds, who were now laughing.
"Oh, come one Mako. Don't be like that." Bolin started but was the caught off by Asami who was giving the moody firebender her infamous sly fox-like smile. "What's wrong Mako? Jealous of our love for one another?"
Mako rolled his eyes as he dryly responded. "Oh yeah. That's exactly it. I really want to act like a pair of fools who can't keep their claws off each other."
Asami snickered. "Aw. That's too bad. Because I know something you don't know."
"Really? What is it?" Bolin asked as he and his brother raised his eyebrows.
Asami pulled out a light blue envelope. " I got this in the mail today. I think you t
What happened? Part 3 Mako looked at Korra while she trained. She had a dull determined look on her face. She bended the water towards the dummy, causing it to slightly swing back and forth. Korra didn't look at either at them. This continued for fifteen minutes, then she sat down to wipe her face from the sweat. Mako saw her sitting on the bench and walked towards her to sit down as well. Even when he sat down about a foot away from her she still just focused her eyes on Bolin who was still training. What happened? Part 33 years ago in Drama More Like This

"So where are we putting the logo." she interrupted. Her eyes still fixated on Bolin.
"What?" Not knowing what she meant.
"You talked to Asami. right?" She said with a slight of annoyance in her voice, "Where are we putting the logo?"
Out of Control - Part 1"I'm sorry I'm late!" Korra rushed into the gym, strapping the last of her protective gear on her forearm. Her two teammates were currently working on some strength training. Bolin was doing push-ups, counting out in grunts. Mako paused his lunges, stood, and glared. She knew he was going to be mad at her. He was always mad at her these days.Out of Control - Part 13 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
"You're beyond late. We only have ten minutes of practice time left," he said, gesturing at the gym's clock. She couldn't dispute this. She was late to practice. Again. At least she had an excuse. It was the usual excuse that she'd been using the past few weeks, but it was an excuse nonetheless. She put a hand on her hip.
"I was with Tenzin, okay? It's not my fault."
Ever since she had challenged Amon (and lost), Tenzin had been working her harder than ever. She spent hours upon hours practicing, training, studying, learning. A lot of these hours were spent alone. It was miserable, but she forced herself to do it. Nobody else had to know th

And Korra danced above it all.
Mako watched as the flames exploded from her limbs, bright flashes of orange tracking through the night sky. Her fire reflected off the glass, illuminating the scene above. He climbed up the ladder to the upper part of the arena, Bolin behind him. Mako's head hung back as he climbed because he couldn't take his eyes off her. He could barely see a thing; all of the action was blurred through the color of the ceiling's glass, but he had to watch. He followed her colors as they streaked above, flying in so many places at once.
He had to watch.
"Be careful," he had said, knowing that she didn't need protection or luck or even him to help her in this fight. She had her courage and her strength and that was enough. Korra and Chie

He stopped and jumped in the middle of the woods, he put his hands up, Naga sniffed him and snorted as if a stench overtook his body.
He stood there for a good minute before five Equalist circled him.

She was only ever really comfortable in armor, feeling nude without its tightness and dependable weight, but tradition dictated royalty dressed in an intricate ceremonial style for betrothal interviews. Zuan absentmindedly scratched at her scalp, irritated by pollen from the fire lilies woven into her hair, but froze when Father threw her a sharp look. The Rabbiroos' firebender was actually putting up a fight. He was a really good pro-bender. Not as good as Mako, but definitely more of a challenge than his thin, wiry appearance had led Korra to believe.
She was stuck against the railing in Zone Three as he fought against her, hurling blasts of bright fire her way in rapid succession. It was taking nearly all of her energy to draw up water from the grate in front of her to lash away the attacks. He was bending too fast for her to get an attack in herself. She growled in frustration each time. Her instincts begged her to stop being an idiot and just use her firebending to cut through his attacks, whorl the flames down, around, and back at him, Avatar style. She ignored them.
Another attack, barely blocked, and she cried out, snarling. He was very strong, and he didn't seem to be wearing out. All she needed was a gap in his assault, and she'd be fine. He smirked at her from across the ring and shot two quick punch

Mako slowly opened his eyes to the blinding sunlight. He just woke up and stretched his arms. They've been in the car for a day. All Mako wanted to do was to go outside and firebend for the rest of the day, but he knew that they wouldn't make it back home before Asami arrived. He looked at Korra, who was in the middle. His eyes widened. He saw Bolin cuddling Korra. He was hugging her while she rested her head on his shoulder. He saw this and all he knew was that he didn't like it. He HATED seeing them like that. He knew that if he messed it up again Bolin would get mad and Korra would be confused. He didn't want to do that. But then he thought that it would be fine if it seemed that it was an "accident". So, he got some water and splashed it in his face, to seem that he was sweating. He rested his head again on the window, then screamed.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Mako yelled causing Korra and Bolin to get out of
