Hakito and the other guests looked up as Kagome hit the marble floor with a loud smack.
Kagome had cuts and small bruises all over her body, but they were already starting to heal with her demon healing abilities.
Kagome quickly recovered and stood up to face Sesshomaru. He calmly came into the ballroom with cold indifference on his face.
"Okay, so maybe I shouldn't have said that, but you where asking for it! You have to know that you have my apology for that last one, but you can't treat me like that."
"You will learn your place! No one disrespects this Sesshomaru's family or breed."
"Is that what you are so mad about?" said Kagome in exasperation. "I thought that it would be me telling you that you needed to respect me when you are, in fact, on my land."
Sesshomaru ran forward at her. Kagome jumped back and narrowly missed the poison claws that where now imbedded in the

Kagome stood staring at two soldiers fighting each other. The two soldiers were fighting each other to show Kagome that they had indeed learned what she had taught them. They were both very handsome demons for being so low in strength. They had the look of two bad boys. They fit the look of bad guys: dark hair, dark eyes, dark clothing's.
Kagome watched as the bigger soldier kicked the feet of his smaller opponent from underneath him. This action caused his opponent to fall on his back. He, however, quickly rolled over and leapt back to his feet.
"Give up! You can't win!" yelled the bigger demon.
'Now that is odd. He doesn't seem to be talking about the fight.' Kagome thought in confusion.
"Never," came the heated reply.
Kagome watched as they returned again back to their fight. The fight steadily became more heated with each step and kick that they took. Not long after this continued, the two of

Hakito stared at the wolf demon very thoughtfully.
"It is nice of you to join us, Prince Koga," he said very slowly.
"I believe that you have already met Inuyasha and his friends." He stated as if it was more like a confirmation than a question.
"Yeah, I have met them. I still stand by what I said in the first place. I won't let you take her with you. I have claimed her long ago."
"I'm sorry, but I have to take her with me. She is needed in the Eastern Lands. I can't wait anymore than I already have. A half an hour ago, a energy shock wave went over the lands. I am sure that you felt it, you being the son of the Lord of the North?"
Hakito waited until he nodded his head to tell that he did indeed feel it.
"Well, that was the warning of my office, if you will. I accepted when I was first came to be known as the Lord of the East that I would fall back when my true heir came of age to take over my lan

Chapter 5: The Fall of the Hell Guardians
Foots steps echoed down the long black marbled corridor. A man of six feet walked it in calm and slow pace, but eagerly awaiting the moment of his arrival. His cloak billowed in the blasts of freezing air that slammed down the passageway. Where this man walked was a place destined for only the most wretched souls, a place forbidden to all but those who were assigned to protect its gates. This man was walking into the very place mere mortals always feared. It was called the void, the abyss, Inferno, Hades, Tartarus but most of all it was called Hell. And the man who walked the path tow

A few weeks had gone by without any luck finding the last HYDRA base. You were trying desperately to remember where it was, but you couldn’t recall having seen it somewhere in the old S.H.I.E.L.D. files. You helped Steve and his team gather as much information as you could and for the first time in the months you had been here already, you started to feel part of the team.
Steve had put aside his grief for Bucky and had focused all of his attention on finding Schmidt. You had seen him every night at that same bar, talking to him about everything he wanted to talk about. You now knew everything there possibly was to know about Bucky and probably also about Steve. It hurt you to know so much however, because the more you got to know him, the more you started to like him. But every time he looked at Peggy, you knew his heart belonged to her. Of course it did. It always would…
You had also told him as much about yourself as possible. You had changed some of the details to make

You ran through the maze of hallways and doors, trying to find the commando center of the HYDRA base. You knew it had to be here somewhere, but the old S.H.I.E.L.D. files you had read a long time ago didn’t say where it was.
‘Agent [Last Name]!’ someone yelled at you from behind.
You quickly turned around and saw Jim standing in a door opening.
‘We’ve found it. Come quickly!’
You nodded, running towards the room Jim was standing in. You walked into it, finding colonel Phillips, Peggy and Jim standing around the communication installation.
´Any word?’ you asked them, but they shook their heads.
You sighed, taking your seat behind the microphone, hoping Steve would call in soon. You liked to hear his voice once last time before you would destroy the files colonel Philips promised to give you when you were back at the S.S.R. headquarters.
You tried to contact the airplane yourself, but all you heard was static and you feared Steve might have
Fucked Up Things 2Frank opened his eyes wide open as the came to that thought, and he swallowed hard. He had absolutely no idea how the window could've opened itself, it was locked from the inside. Now that he thought about it, how the fuck could a breeze make a glass full of water fall like that? He could feel the panic grown inside him, and after just a few seconds he could feel a cold lump grow in his stomach. He took a deep breath in and slowly turned himself towards the window, still lying down.Fucked Up Things 24 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
Frank just stared at the window for several minutes, kind of expecting something to happen, and he also checked for some possibility for it to open itself. It wasn't very windy outside, which only made him think about the glass even more.
This was ridiculous, of course he'd find a reasonable explanation, but now when he was that tired. He'd already forced himself to be up for too long, so his mind was obviously playing tricks on him.
Frank had actually almost gone to sleep when he heard another crash right

"Please Leo. I'll be super, ultra careful. I promise," Mikey begged, hopping from one foot to the next as he followed Leo into the dojo.
"No Mikey," Leo said shortly. He scooped up a handful of arrows and sat on the end of the weight bench to examine them, setting aside the ones in need of repair.
Mikey stood in front of him, arms akimbo as he stared at Leo's lowered head. He couldn't use his most potent weapon on his oldest brother if he couldn't get Leo to look up.
"It's not for me, Leo. It's for Klunk. My baby is almost out of dry food and his favorite canned stuff is gone. I gotta go get some more," Mikey told the top of Leo's head.
"Michelangelo, 'almost out' means there is enough food for the cat right now. April said she'd do some marketing for us and then leave the food in the tunnel tomorrow night. You and Klunk can both wait," Leo said without lifting his hea

You were standing on top of the edge of a large groove in one of the mountains surrounding a pass. Train tracks could clearly be seen down below, but it was a long, long way down. You closed your coat further around you and rubbed your freezing hands together in an attempt to warm them.
‘Careful, agent [Last Name],’ someone spoke to you from behind. ‘You might fall over.’
You turned around, seeing Bucky standing behind you. You smiled awkwardly, thinking about the fall he would be making very, very soon. If there was only something you could do about that. Knowing that you couldn’t without changing everything was a bitter pill to take.
‘Wouldn’t that be convenient to them,’ you replied, nodding at the Howling Commandos who were working hard to get everything in order before the train with doctor Arnim Zola on board would arrive.
Bucky looked behind him and sighed, shaking his head. ‘Just because they

"Frank, how're you feeling?" The guy with the curly hair asked, and the question was clearly meant for him.
"Um I'm fine, thanks. Could you tell me where I am?" He had to ask, even though it might sound weird asking, but he honestly had no idea.
"You're in your apartment dumbass. You fucking idiot, you scared us!" He replied, sounding irritated. He didn't look that angry though, considering the big smile on his face. Frank couldn't understand what all the fuss was about.

-¿A qué te refieres?
Scarlet River P5 Early morning sunlight seeped through the lichen, striping her coat. River opened her eyes and stretched, pushing herself into a sitting position. She was still weak from her journey, and as she padded across the den, her muscles ached in protest. River looked around, surprised to find the cave empty. Deeplake must be talking to Lightstar…or preparing to visit this ‘moonpool’. With a pang of fear and anxiety, River remembered the ominous discussion she had heard last night. “she might be a threat…” Could Deeplake hold some mystical power? Could she have gazed into River’s past and seen the blood there? River shook her head to clear it. Reaching the cave entrance, she poked her head through the curtain of lichen.Scarlet River P52 years ago in General Fiction More Like This

“What is it?” River murmured.
“Well…When do you think we’ll run into the city cats? You said they weren’t going to stay in the city forever, so do you think we’ll run into them beforehand?”
River lowered her gaze, staring at the remains of her mouse.
“I think that…yeah. We’ll probably run into them in the forests surrounding the City. But we can sneak past them! After so long in such a stinky place, their noses are nowhere near as good as a forest cat’s! Their hearing stinks too. We’ll be fine.”

Mikey was jostled awake when the van he was riding in hit a pot hole.
It took him a couple of minutes to remember what had happened to him. When he did, Mikey tried to move only to discover that he was bound hand and foot by ropes pulled so tight they cut into his skin.
He had been tossed face down onto the floor of the vehicle. Besides being uncomfortable, amend that; it was downright painful, to add insult to injury the floor smelled of dog poop. Apparently, Foot ninjas weren't trained to wipe their feet after stepping in doggy doo.
The van hit another pothole and Mikey thought, "At least I know we're still in New York City."
Some sound must have escaped him, because a ninja said, "The creature is awake."
Another one leaned in close enough so that Mikey could see his eyes. "Enjoying the ride?" he asked sarcastically.

Michelangelo was desperately trying to stay awake. He did not want to pass out before his brothers came to his rescue. That would be too embarrassing.
Getting himself into this mess had been exceedingly simple, not that he was actually trying. His plan for the evening hadn't included hanging from a bridge like a giant fish waiting to be gutted and dried.
Damn Foot ninjas. They sure were getting a lot better at tying knots. Mikey had tried pulling at the ropes after the Foot had tied his wrists to the bridge cable; leaving him dangling. There was absolutely no play in the bindings, and now his hands were growing kind of numb.
Hanging his nunchucks on the cable next to his arm was supposed to be an added insult, but Mikey was glad they were there, even if he couldn't reach them. At least the Foot hadn't tossed them into the water as they had done with his shell cell.
It had surprised Mikey wh

“Sorry…” River mumbled. She stretched, feeling for the first time as though energy were flowing through her. The aching pains she had felt before had faded to a dull throbbing. Despite this, River felt her heart sink. She would have to leave once strength returned. She glanced down at Stonekit and Echokit, still curled beside Leafheart, peaceful in sleep. River felt a strange ache in her heart, accompanied by a rush of fear. I can’t leave these cats! They’re my friends! Then guilt engulfed her. They split up and managed to catch a mouse each, sharing it in their makeshift den - a dense thicket of brambles.
After eating, they curled together, sharing their warmth. River knew she had none to share, and at first, insisted upon sleeping away from them, but Stonekit would not stand for it. River finally consented and the trio lay down, side by side. Before River could close her eyes, Echokit said,

River faltered. On her journey, she had been so intent on warning someone about her origins, but now, under the watchful green gaze, it was difficult to say. More cats had gathered round, all staring intently at River. Lightstar sensed her discomfort and turned to the small, dark grey she-cat who had taken part in discovering her.
“Silverpaw, will you please fetch this kit some freshkill, and moss soaked in water?”
Silverpaw dipped her head, “Yes, Lightstar.”
River watched. She felt the need to protest, to assert that she could look after herself, but her rumbling stomach disagreed.
River turned to Lightstar once more.
“When you are ready to talk, you can tell Deeplake, she is our medicine cat. You will be staying with her until you have recovered strength.”

He had no idea what kept him up every single night like this ever since he moved into his new apartment, and he'd never experienced anything like this ever before, but he was already getting sick of it. The really messed up part was that it wasn't getting any better either, it started with him just feeling uncomfortable at night in the apartment, and he figured that it was normal. They were on their way to the Great Hall for the start of the year feast.
"You have already asked one." He chuckled. "But, you may ask another."
"Where is the final protection for the stone?"
"It shall be revealed in time." He replied.
"Yes, sir." Snape dropped the subject. "There is something else that well, makes me uneasy." He confessed.
"What would that be, Severus?" Dumbledore looked at him, the same quizzical look on his face that he had worn earlier.
"First, why bother with all of the enchantments if there is a back door to the chamber where the stone is hidden?"
"Ah." Dumbledore smiled knowingly. "That doorway can only be opened by the headmaster. I'm not really sure why. It is one of Hogwarts' many secrets, I suppose."
"Also," Snape took a deep breath. "I must bring some suspicious behaviour to light. Professor Quirrell was acting very odd down in the chambers." He glanced at Dumbledo
