So because it's early in the morning and I really just wanted to doodle, I decided to finish an oc that really needed finished woooooo

LadyLemmon94Hemming is an ever powerful god, known throughout the world and known under many different names. He is a traveling god, but currently resided in Peru. Many humans around the world built shrines for this deity, in hopes of gaining the abilities Hemming has. They label him as a "god of Wealth and prosperous crop fields", and many pray and worship him in hopes that he will bless them.
But, what humans do not know - or rather sometime down the passage of time many forgot or simply changed the meaning - is that Hemming is actually NOT what they think he is. Rather, he is a God of misfortune and Bad luck, guardian over spiders. Spiders are pretty much his children, he governs them and uses them as his messengers.
Hemming does NOT answer the prayers of mortals therefore he never brings 'crops and wealth' to those on earth. (And also why no one tries to find out the real god's purpose. No one looks into it) He'd rather see humans squirm and die instead of granting misguided hopes.
One day, whilst visiting his shrine down in Peru, a lonely European photographer happened to pray at his shrine - asking to see the god in person and get proof that the guy really exists. Angered by such a stupid request, Hemming actually descends to earth just to tell the human how stupid of a request and how pathetic of a human the man is. Of course, coming down to earth breaks the altar where a 'statue in likeness of the god (which wasn't in likeness - a man adorn with many jewelry and on the chub side while Hemming is not of any sort like that)' once stood and that stops him from going back home.
Noticing this, and noticing the puny human frozen at such a sudden act and not believing, Hemming decides to have some fun and literally body snatches the human (eating the guy's soul so it's left as an empty vessel) and takes the guy's place on earth to cause hell wherever he may please. Because he cannot go back to his home since the altar where he came to earth was broken he is stuck on earth to forever be immortal and walk amongst peasants. (To make some sense, one must use the same route they took to earth and since it is broken, he is forever stuck.)
Now, Hemming is not his real name but once coming to earth he decides to label himself as Swedish - when the body he stole isn't actually of Swedish nationality. Because he has been on earth for ages, though, he's considered Hemming his real name than his old one and because of this he has forgotten his real one. Hemming’s true form is pretty much a spider-human hybrid, a gigantic spider with some human limbs and a human face, a large abdomen to carry eggs and silk to spin webs (While Hemming IS a male spider god, he can lay eggs and give birth without the help of another female or male counterpart). He has dozens of eyes and actually has a few eyes in the back of his head to view behind him. Because he stole a human’s skin he cannot switch to his true form anymore, pretty much leaving his old skin behind to blend in with others. To make up for this, he can choose to switch to a lesser hybrid form on earth of his true form, more appearance to a human than a spider instead.
While on earth, Hemming takes the persona of a mild mannered man, often acting weak and defenseless with others. This is really an act, it’s his way of pulling victims into his ‘web’. With simple fake ‘prostitution’ or actually faking relationships, he acts innocent and shy to lure them in and when the time is right he will switch to his hybrid form and create a web, wrapping said persons up and sucking their blood dry. While in his original home, Hemming never really had to ‘feed’, he had delicacies that held effects to never make him hungry again. But while on earth, the effects have worn away and it’s left him parched. Obviously I think we know his real personality, more sadistic with a ‘holier- than –thou’ attitude. He has to live up to his true powers, after all!
Having nothing better to, our human-god travels the world visiting the lovely spiders he placed on earth. He has taken a job and that is, simply put, going around and viewing all kinds of species of spiders and documenting them. Really, it’s just an easier way to travel but his true intentions are to view his messengers. He can communicate with them and if by chance a spider disrespects him he will kill them. He doesn’t care, more will be made. But if he thinks a species of spider has grown too large and too crazy for mortals he will casually remove them from earth and erase them from existence.

genko-mo created a spider monster and asked to for a lover and I asked if I could make one to go along with him. I do think she said yes, so just to be sure Hemming MAY be with her Spider monster. (Mostly the idea that I kinda gave it is that Hemming find’s Bry’s hybrid and decides to keep him close and uses him as a pawn but falls in love after awhile – obviously also switching to hybrid when they do love things and blahblahblah) But if Bry does NOT want this anymore then this little paragraph will be removed and Hemming will be open ended like I was intending <3
So yeah, pretty much the history of my baby. Besides another spider idea I had, I’ve always wanted to create a spider god (or more of them hhaha) and really liked the chance. I’ll probably make drafts of his hybrid and true form sometime soon but right now I must sleep
