TicklishJack tried very hard to hold in a laugh as he looked at the scene below him from a tree branch; Bunny was curled up asleep beneath the shade of the tree, arms tucked under his head, and a pleasant smile on his face. A few decorated eggs were settled beside him, sleeping as well.
'Oh man, this is too easy.' Jack thought, before jumping from his perch and landing quietly beside him.
'Okay, what pranks can I pull on an unsuspecting, sleeping rabbit…?' He pondered, various pranks going through his mind. Whip cream in the hand, boring; barking dog ringtone, overdone; covering the eggs in frost patterns, dangerous. It figured, the one time he had the upper hand on Bunny and he couldn't think of a decent prank.
He idly poked the rabbit's side with his staff as he tried to figure something out- and stopped. Bunny's nose twitched a little, and small smile tugged at his lips. Jack paused, before doing it again. He got the same response, and smiled a little.

ProtectBunnymund was quite aware that the winter spirit was tailing him. Honestly, with ears and a nose like his it was a wonder that Jack believed he could sneak around the Pooka. But he had work to do. A guardian was always busy, even if he did only have one day of the year specifically set around them.
He was the guardian of Hope after all. Not a particularly easy job.
He had already ventured all throughout Russia, China, Mexico (he was much more partial to that climate) and was now traveling through the familiar town of Burgess. The sun was quickly setting, so he was out of the clear sight of children. Bunny was sure that it wouldn't have mattered – they'd already seen him many times, though he was sure that a few of them (disregarding Jamie) now thought it had been one very confusing and vivid dream created by the Sandman. And if he really didn't want to be seen in broad daylight

The winter spirit sighed as he leaned on his staff.
"Like I said the last twenty times, I can't, because I really don't know what happened."
"That's a bloody lie!"
They both looked at the small, fluffy, bluish grey rabbit sitting on North's desk, glaring up the boy.
"You know exactly what happened ya bludger now change me back!"
"Look Bunny, I really don't know what or how it happened, and I definantly don't know how to fix it. On the bright side," Jack said, a smirk forming, "You look like a bunny now. A sweet, adorable little bunny."
Bunny's eye twitched, and he leapt at the winter spirit with a growl. North quickly grabbed the small rabbit's scruff and held him back, a small smile pulling at his lips.
"I've had it! Let me at him, let go of me!" Bunny yelled, kicking at the air with his feet.
"Calm down, Bunny, we will fix this! Now, Jack, tell me everything that happened up to…this."

"No. Go away."
"I'm not leaving ya'lone here."
"Why not," the words were cold, but not particularly spiteful, "you've done it for three hundred years. Why start now?" Bunny tried to keep his face from revealing how directly the words had hit home. His ears took care of that, and he felt them settle against the back of his head. Silently, he cursed his expressive appendages.
He crossed his arms, forcing his ears back into the air. "Well, you're going to have to get used to not bein' 'lone. Before the end'a today, either North or myself's gonna talk to ya. So either you choose one'a us ta tell ya off, or we'll both set ya down for a nice long chat." Bunny advanced to the tree. "'S your choice. Who's it gonna be?"
"No one," Jack turned his head away, "Leave me alone."

Easter and Winter(request)The aurora borealis lit up the night sky. Jack looked up curiously. Why would North be calling the Guardians? Flying in through an open window, Jack looked around North’s workshop. The Yetis and elves were unconcerned, going about the early Christmas preparations as they usually did.
Strolling through the main workshop, Jack worked his way over to North’s office, following the sound of raised voices. Something must really be wrong, Jack thought, his staff slung over his shoulder.
Jack didn’t know what to expect, but what he saw as he opened the door to the office definitely wasn’t it.
Sandy, North, and Tooth were all gathered around North’s desk, where a small rabbit was crouching.
“Kangaroo?” Jack asked incredulously, unable to believe his eyes. The normally seven-foot-tall Pookah warrior and Guardian was
First Night During the whole ride back, the Guardians continued to congratulate Jack on becoming a true guardian; the guardian of fun. Toothiana continued to hug him and speaking enthusiastically, asking him questions about his sister while her mini-fairies squeaked happily. Sandy made dozens of sand images of all of them together happily doing many activities. North, although driving the sleigh, went on and on about what Jack could do now, joyfully trying to explain the rules of being a guardian. Even Bunnymund was proud of the boy, thanking him for keeping Jamie believing in him. It was very loud, and Jack smiled yet struggled to keep up with all the excitement. The young spirit was overwhelmed happily, but nervous.First Night3 years ago in General Fiction More Like This

North trudged through the snow, creating a large path in his wake which quickly caved in behind him. Tooth and Sandy flew above the snow, both wrapped in thick winter coats. "Jack!" Tooth cried, speeding towards her fallen friend. But she pulled up just before she got to him and pulled her hands to her mouth in an obvious look of shock. The others followed as fast as they could, but a noise reached them before they got there.
"Owwwww…" That voice was far too young to be Jack. Stunned, the remaining Guardians moved forward to see what Tooth had already seen. What they saw stunned them. Sitting in the snow staring back at them was a small child, no older than six, with bright blue eyes and snow white hair.
Before them sat Jack Frost.
Nobody spoke, nobody moved. They were all stunned at what had just happened. Jack Frost sat in the snow staring back with a bewildered look on his face. They couldn't believe their eyes, what was going on? Tooth was the first to break out of the trance.
Jack turned his gaze to her and tilted his head to the side, confusion overc
Barren Warren- Ch 5Just a side note before we begin: Pookas are a 6 foot tall rabbit (that Jack got turned into by Pitch). From what some peeps on the net are saying, they originally came from Scottish lore, so I'm running with that. I got some notes about a tiny bit of confusion around that idea, so I wanted to fix it. So, Jack's a 4 ˝ foot tall mini Pooka (ears not included).Barren Warren- Ch 52 years ago in Drama More Like This

Two days had passed since the break in the warren's security, and Bunny was still on high alert. He refused to let the young buck out of his sight for more than a few minutes, and his ears wouldn't stop twitching when the brat was away. He prayed that this never got back to the other three guardians, but knowing his luck, that wasn't likely. For a rabbit, he was certainly unlucky when he tried hide personal secrets. But sure as the day was long, Sandy decided to pop by for a visit while he was on his rounds in the Warren.

Jack sat on the shores of what he called “his” lake, his knees drawn up to his chest, staff sitting beside his hip, arms resting on top of his knees and his chin on top of his arms. Jack stared unblinkingly, unseeingly, at the gently rippling waters, his thoughts tumultuous, his feelings even more so.
He’d never figured himself for… well, for being homosexual. He knew that there were guys who like guys, and girls who liked girls, and he didn’t mind that. Live and let live, love and let love, right? As long as everyone had fun. Unfortunately for Jack, fun didn’t exactly factor into his equation. Not that Jack didn’t try to bring fun in, of course he did. It was just that… Well, just that the one he wanted to have fun with the most seemed to never be in the mood for fun. And even if he was, it was never long before he claimed he had to go back to work.
The Easter Bunny never seemed to take a break.

In the frozen tundra of Antarctica, a vortex of color burst into being, and North's sleigh sailed out of it.
"Wow you weren't kidding, it is cold!" Tooth mumbled as she hugged herself in an attempt to stay warm. Baby Tooth huddled on her shoulder, shivering as well, and she let out a small sneeze.
"Yep, best summer getaway I ever made." Jack remarked with a grin.
Sandy and Tooth gave weak smiles as they huddled together; Jack and North were fine though, due to the fact that they lived in cold climates year round.
"Alright, where do we start? This is big continent." North asked.
"I…have no idea. Just…look for something dark and creepy." Jack muttered.
"Oh, that should make things much simpler…"

"Okay, we got that out of the way, so what are we waiting for?" Jack asked, slightly impatient.
The other three guardians glanced at him.
"Jack, I know you are worried, we all are. But we need plan first before action." North stated.
"We already know where Pitch's lair is, so let's just go!"
"Well, Jack…there's a little problem." Tooth said nervously.
Sandy nodded, and several sand images appeared above him; a clock, two small images of him and Tooth, the moon and a star, and the image of a sleeping child.
"It's getting late, and we have to go to work in a couple hours. As much as we want to help right now, we have to keep the children believing in us." Tooth stated.
North gave a sigh, before nodding.

Like how he felt about the Pookah.
Jack sighed and laid his head on his arms, which were folded across the tops of his knees. Since he’d left the Warren and headed for North’s home, Jack had come to the conclusion that he didn’t just admire Bunnymund anymore: He flat-out loved him. And not in the big-brother way, in the you’re-the-only-one-I-want-to-spend-forever-with way. But what were the odds that the Pookah could ever feel the same way? All Jack had ever done was annoy the older Guardian, and nothing to endear himself to Bunny.
FrostbittenNight was beginning to fall in the quiet, colonial town of Burgess. Most of the people were already inside, starting fires to keep out the fresh winter cold of late November. A woman’s voice quietly called out to her companions. “What should we do now, North?”
North turned around to face Toothiana and the other guardians with a sigh. They were trudging through the thick, densely snow-covered woods for some time now in search of the sleigh. The battle with Pitch had been brutal; it was a miracle none of them were seriously harmed, although they had been separated for a while. Luckily, they had agreed to meet up in the forest below them beforehand. However, it had not been part of the plan to lose the sleigh.
North simply looked at Toothiana before shrugging. “We find the sle
NightmareJack whistled idly as he strolled through the nearly-empty Warren. Almost everyone was either asleep or gone, since Easter had just finished. It had been over a year since the Guardians had defeated Pitch, and Jack, surprisingly, felt bored. He’d thought that, even with Pitch gone, his new duties as Guardian would keep him busy all the time. Surprisingly enough, that wasn’t true. He essentially went around doing the same things he always did, except for those times he was visiting North, or Tooth, or Bunny.Nightmare2 years ago in Romance More Like This
Bunny… Thinking of the giant Pookah did strange things to Jack’s insides. But that wasn’t so strange, not really. Jack had always admired the Pookah, even before the conflict with Pitch. The blizzards and snowstorms he’d occasionally conjured on Easter Sundays were just his way of tweaking the large rabbit’s nose, so to speak. Not that he wouldn’t mind actually tweaking the rabbit’s nose…

“I swear when I get my paws on him…” I said muttering under my breath. After following the trail for a few more minutes, I finally could see his figure ahead in the distance. I narrowed my eyes; I was growing tired of Jack coming and going whenever he pleased unannounced. Freezing anything he wished, and disturbing the warrior eggs; I had too many complaints to count from them relating to Frost. It was about time I set the kid straight.
I began walking towards him, closing the distance between us so he couldn’t make a quick escape. I smirked; it was about time I finally nailed down on him.

Jack had been enjoying his time since Pitch's defeat. After today's snowball fight in Burgess, he'd started to head back to his favorite lake to take a good long rest before heading to see North. The man had become like a grandfather to him in these past few months, and since Christmas was in a month, Jack thought he would offer a hand with the last few toy based issues. North had insisted that the boy stay with him, but Jack had politely declined. He needed his freedom, and being cooped up in a workshop for ten months out of the year wasn't going to fly with the ice spirit.
Walking down the deer path that lead to his favorite frozen pond, Jack allowed his thoughts to wander to his fellow guardians. He remembered how well they'd taken him in, even after all the mayhem he'd caused over the time

With my skates slung over my back, I raced farther ahead of my sister and down into the clearing where the lake stood, surface frozen solid. I smiled wide, and sat down before kicking off my shoes, pulling the skates off my shoulder and onto my feet. I stood up and tested my balance, leaning back and forth of them with my arms extended.
Sophie ran down to me, sliding in the snow and falling to her bottom. She giggled and grabbed her own skates, taking off her shoes and pulling the skates on. Looking up at me, she grinned shyly.
"Can you tie them, Jamie?"
I smiled and nodded, leaning down to help her tie the laces, looping the strings around each other. Once I made sure they were tied, I sat bac

“Can it,” he answered without opening his eyes. He seemed to be in full relaxation mode, lying on his back, arms behind his head, one leg crossed over the other. “It’s the off-season; I’m gonna rest while I can. You wanna be entertained, go…start a snowball fight or summat.”
“That’s not all I do, y’know,” I muttered, irritated.

“Jack is right, we must hurry before Warren and Easter are ruined permanently!” North added.
The others nodded, and turned back to the tunnel they’d come out of to go back; however, a laugh caused them to pause. A shadow rushed past them, and they whipped around to see Pitch.
“Greetings Guardians, enjoying the view?” he asked, smirking a little.
“Pitch…” Jack growled.
“Oh hello Jack, didn’t we meet up just a few hours ago?”
Jack’s eyes narrowed, his hands tightening around his staff. Pitch smirked wider, before looking around at the ruined Warren.

I watched him from a distance. As usual, he was starting a snowball fight with a bunch of local children, laughing and having fun. Now, this was nothing unusual, of course; he was the Guardian of Fun, after all. I just liked to see him so happy.
After about half an hour, the kids started going into their homes, laughing and shivering, ready for a nice, hot cup of cocoa. Eventually, only he was left outside, smiling fondly at their retreating backs. A moment later, he sighed, looking down at his unclad feet, smile becoming self-depreciating, instead of joyful. After gathering up what little medical supplies I had into my pack and instructing the eggs on what to do while I was gone, I opened one of my tunnel systems and headed for the North Pole. The message from Tooth and the others kept circulating through my mind. Jack had appeared on North’s doorstep, shivering and suffering from a fever. North said Jack passed out as soon as he knew that North had seen him. North then immediately had the yetis notify all of us; North needed our help with this. While being great with children when they are healthy, North had no experience in how to care for an ill child. Let alone an 18 year-old immortal winter spirit.
