ForgetfulTime will forget you.Forgetful1 week ago in Free Verse More Like This
People will see your picture and ask for your name,
Or maybe they won't care enough to know.
Time will erase your memory slowly.
First, the deaths of your immediate friends,
Family, children, legacy.
Slowly, your memory will disappear.
But do not be frightened by the forgetfulness, my dear.
For as long as they forget you, I will remember.
I will remember the times spent in dark rooms fill with laughter.
Ungodly hours of the day talked away to what end?
I will not forget you as time rolls on,
And there is no curse or illness or wipe you away.
Take pieces of my mind and I will but remember you differently.
You have affected every piece of me, you see.
Your statue stands in the hub of my marble mind.
Even in those days when the curves of your face grow nebulous,
And the sparkle in your eyes is but a legend of my own making,
I will remember it with the fondest of smiles and deepest of laughs.
It will ring out in the hallways of my mental church,
And it will sing to th
BookA girl one day found a book.Book3 days ago in Free Verse More Like This
With her name in bold as the title.
She read through each page, each chapter of her life,
Right through to the very last page.
Somewhere in the middle, the pages were blank,
And had started to write themselves.
She pondered for a time what the pages might mean,
Or who would be writing her story.
So she decided to travel around the world,
In search of his paper and pen.
"After all," she thought and the pages scrawled down,
"who is he to think he knows my thoughts?"
And so it began, a story of all stories,
And a girl set to change.
But every day, everything she did,
She found written upon the page.
Disgruntled and angry she set forth again,
To change all that she could change that day.
But again and again the words came to pass,
And recorded themselves on the page.
But there were thoughts in the letters that she had forgotten,
Memories she might have missed.
Past days bound her towards the home she'd forgotten,
Times a youthful mind might have replaced.
One Night Part 8---Raven's POV---One Night Part 810 months ago in General Fiction More Like This
It was quiet at the park. It was an amazing day for a barbeque, the sun was shining and there were very few people there besides the Titans. Even Raven had to admit that this was better than she imagined it being.
Cyborg was at the grill, cooking burgers. Next to his huge grill there was a smaller one a few feet away. This was for Beast Boys tofu, Cyborg refused to cook them, let alone for them to be near his meat.
"If the wind changes and your nasty tofu smell invades my burgers you will be sorry B." Cyborg taunted. Beast Boy flipped bis burgers.
"Oh shut up and cook your animal murder." He responded.
Raven was sitting under a tree a few yards from her friends. She was enjoying a good book and could not help but stop to appreciate this moment.
All of them had a hand in her recovery. She smiled at herself remembering Star attempting to force feed her some kind of home remedy. Beast Boy had made up some excuse to get Raven out of eating it, thank God, she hated hurting

She would be lying.
She sat in her apartment alone, again. And she'd be lying if she said she wasn't feeling a little bit lonely. She did miss the Tower and the Titans, and sometimes she forgets why she even left. But then she remembers and she gets angry again, the questions plaguing her day and night:
'Why did he have to do that to me?'
'Why did he have to be so annoying?'
'Why did I have to fall for him?'
Oh, to be normal... why couldn't things just be… Normal?
A sudden noise from outside interrupted her thoughts. She walked up and opened her front door with caution just to find a small yellow cat. She smiled, relieved it wasn't a threat.
The cat seemed very friendly and rubbed up against her feet. She smiled, got down to its level and petted it.
"You remind me of an old friend" She said, stroking it as it purred.
"I miss him... I miss them all, but especially him. Why couldn't I just let myself love him?" She spoke out loud.
Raven smiled as the cat looked up at her. She then

Its nothing more than a worthless emotion.
It spreads joy for a certain amount of time and then...
Crushes it into a million pieces. Like its worth nothing...
All it does is cause pain...
Like a shotgun going off...
I never wish to love anyone...
I cast out every emotion anyways...
I'd used to think of that...
I used to think of all the sappy love couples...
I threw up just thinking about it...
The thought of physical contact gave me chills...
I hated that sort of stuff...
I also thought no one will ever love me...
But he swept me off of my feet,
He cared for me...
He kissed me...
He touched me...
I did something that I don't ever regret...
That was a long time ago...
Now I think back when we were younger...
I walk into the commons room and grab my morning tea...
He jokes around by telling me horrible jokes and I hit him upside the head.
I laugh at the times when we weren't together....
Nothing will ever be the same....

Love a little deeper.
Just because it costs less
Doesn't mean it's cheaper.
Hug a little harder.
Sing a little louder.
Hold on to some confidence
And feel a little prouder.
Snuggle a little closer.
Kiss a little longer.
Know that people care
And others can make you stronger.
Laugh a little louder.
Be just a little happier.
Every mark you make in life

worn out and dusty,
it doesn't shine anymore,
doesn't play cause it's rusty,
nothing compared to what it was before.
Are we really nothing more?
Only marionettes in a puppet show,
It's a circle without an end,
Like sea that never stops kissing the shore.
Maybe it's something we just can't withstand.
But tell me, are we truly, nothing more?
Just another shade,
in the vast variety of the many colours,
And even that may soon fade.
Yet, we still don't care about others.
And, no one wonders what's it all for?
No one truly even bothers.
And no one wonders, if they're nothing more.
No one wonders if they're nothing.

Raven was huge. She felt as if she was about to burst, the baby inside her moved nonstop which caused her much discomfort. She hated being pregnant, she has never felt more useless in her life. Depending on Beast Boy for everything had caused her sense of self worth to decline. Her powers were completely diminished, she couldn't even heal herself anymore. With everyone so accepting of us being together, I couldn’t be happier. Though it did take a few days for Victor to wrap his head around it, but when we decided to move in together, he finally felt that there wasn’t anything he could do. Rae and I were in love. Then again, something still made me question this. I mean, is this real, or purely a sexual relationship. If I was ever to pop the big question, would she reject it or happily say yes? Damn. I hate problems like these. Especially this early in the god damn morning. I look over at Rachel, who was sleeping soundly to my right, covered in her purple sheets (Yes we moved into her room), and I couldn’t help but smile. Man, she’s so beautiful. I slowly got out of bed, and made my way to the closet. Pulling out one of my shirts, I made my way over to my dresser, anOld Friends (BBRae Oneshot)9 months ago in Drama More Like This

It was a casual, quiet morning in Titan’s Tower. Cyborg was making breakfast for the team; he fried up some eggs and flipped the bacon, and couldn't help but notice he hadn’t heard a peep from his friend. He glanced over at the table were Beast Boy sat eating a bowl of cereal. Something was definitely up; normally Cyborg can’t go five minutes cooking breakfast without hearing a protest from the changeling. He continued on watching the boy from over his shoulder when he spotted something interesting. He inwardly smirked and put the burner on low before walking over and facing his green friend. “So… BB, who’s the girl?” He asked with a smirk on his face.
The question definitely caught the changeling off guard as he dropped his spoon from his hand.
Cyborg leaned forward and casually pointed to the mark on his neck. "And you thought I wouldn't notice your little love bite." He grinned and Beast Boy quickly slapped the mark on h

Raven was shocked to see her mother; she really didn't expect Arella to just *poof* herself into her room like that. "Mother you can't just transfer yourself into the tower; you'll set off the security system!" And just like that and before either of them could react the security alert went off.
Beast Boy, being the only one in the tower at moment rushed into Raven's room. "Raven what's wrong?", he asked before seeing the stranger next to her. Instinct kicked in and he pounced on the stranger, knocking her to the ground; fangs extending as he growled.
"Beast Boy no!" Raven shouted.
But Arella wasn’t fazed, “Is this him?" She asked with a friendly smile. Beast Boy was no longer defensive but now stared at the woman confused, "He's cute." Arella said looking up at him.
"Beast Boy this is my mother." Raven tried to explain.
"Oh my god I am so sorry." Beast Boy said getting up off of the woman before giving her a hand and helping her up.

Titan fundraisers were very common in Jump City. Everyone loved to see their local Heroes throw an event for the community. Sometimes it was a dance, or a carnival, they even did a haunted house once. But no matter what they did it always brought in a huge crowd.
Currently Robin stood on stage in front of the crowd, making another one of his big annual speeches. The Boy Wonder was always good at those types of things. And along with the crowd three of the Titans were listening. Who was the odd man out you ask?… who do you think.
Beast Boy was bored out of his mind, as he usually was at these types of events. The event itself was a blast, but Robin's speeches were not. He was growing very inpatient waiting for the speech to end, until he found a way to entertain himself.
Raven found these events to be, in one word… interesting. She stood near the stage, in a discrete area, as she always did and watched the speech with interest. Until she felt a pair of hands wrap

It's gonna be okay,
If you just stay
And wait for a better day.
They say, they say
It'll all be alright
If you continue to fight,
Hold on, and get through the night.
But I think that,
They're too afraid to admit
How often they too,
Just want to give up and quit.
Supposedly, it's darkest just before the dawn,
But what happens when, it's always dark;
Are we just left to wish, that we were already gone?
And where do we find peace within,
When beneath the surface,
There's just more scars and hidden pain?
Long hair"What is up with Ravens hair?" The green Titian asked Cyborg. "She grew it out,but why?" They watched as she walked down the hall reading another one of her books. Her so short hair was now down to her shoulders. No one noticed it till now because she finally had her hood down. The other Titans found this almost supernatural. Her hair down made her face seem, brighter in a way. Every one couldn't help but stare. When she sat on the couch she finally looked from her book. "Will you guys stop staring at me." She said in a harsh tone. This made all the boys scatter but of course Starfire flew over to her with her big grin. "Friend Raven, you look most of the lovely with the long of hair." The gray titian just looked at her with no emotion. "Would it be of the bother if I try a earths friendship culture of braiding ones hair?" She thought and thought. "What the hell." It was horrible and terrifying as they stared at their motionless friend on the ground.
“Oh X-Hal, he’s not moving!” Starfire shrieked in a panic.
“Raven, your magic! Can you do something!?” Richard asked desperately as he knelt down to his friend’s level.
Raven put on a calm, determined face. “Stay back, I’ll need quiet.” She told them sternly. She needed to concentrate if this was going to work. She quickly went to her knees and got down to his level, putting her fingers to his neck.
She then moved and put her ear to his mouth.
“Damn it!” She swore before immediately overlapping her hands and pounding on his chest, counting every thrust. She then stopped and did a small chant as healing power shot from her fingers and jolted him.
“Come on Gar!” She said through gritted teeth as she continued to thrust her hands against his chest.
