's OC, Logica, for the monochrome exchange on . (: I like that character because of her hair, I thought it would be fun to do in that big base (and it was). I like her style too, but I changed a little the design of her clothes, I hope there is no problem with it. I did it in grey because it fits well with everything. I tried to change it to green, like her hair, but I wasn't good, so I kept it grey.
"They had told me not to meddle with it, looking back now I probably should have listened."
This doll was fun to do but at the same time a pain in my rear. I did some things with this doll that I have not done before. Such as her dress and the satyrs legs. I'm still really happy with how it came out though. Even though I would have liked to have done more with it (and I might in the future), but for now I feel that is done.
I intend to enter Glam's base race as soon as college allows me to. Today was one of those lazy days in which, no matter how hard you try (and I tried a lot XD) you just can't get around to getting any assignments done, so I decided to celebrate my last two days being 25 by making a doll.
Not any doll. She's Lucrecia*, again, wearing my favourite dress from the show. A dress she only wore for less than ten minutes and that suddenly disappeared after that scene... If I had such a dress, I would wear it everywhere.
*Lucrecia de Santillana, from the Spanish show Įguila Roja
CREDITS (before I forget):
This is supposed to be base number three: Laona, by ~decomposing-lotus But I basically started editing the arms and then changed the head shape, and in the end, it looks nothing like it.
I still scribbled over it while sketching so I think it's fair to give credit to it. That being said, I should make a proper doll on that base for the race.
For the sake of comparison, these were my references: [link]
I already tried my hand at Lucrecia [link], and even though I don't like getting all cocky about my work, I must admit there's been some degree of improvement.
(That's me being modest, this is the awesomest thing I've ever done!!! Let me enjoy the hype while it lasts, tomorrow I'll hate it.)
While it may look like it's been over a year since I dolled, it's actually juuust under a year I've had this one finished for a while, but keeping it secret because it was for the Summer Camp Redoll event at GLAM!. It was for ~LaurenDouglasArt, here's the original!
Base by Made for 's generator contest I got light blue, Octopus, Curly hair, and sunglasses. Thanks to Lizard, Kitsune, Clefairy, and all the other wonderful people at Glam, I have been slowly editing this doll to make it so much better than it was. I think by the time I am done I will post a walk through to show how much better your dolls can be if you go that extra mile. For now I'm very happy with my new rock and still editing. Stay tuned!
I actually participated in secret santa this year. I don't usually because I want to save myself for the remakes that need to be done (for those people who made dolls, but the person who got them got lazy and didn't hand a doll in) because I usually end up doing 2 or three. But this time I wanted to get something lol I decided to tool because I didn't want to resize the base to make it small enough to pixel on. I think it turned out well.
This is for Maiandra it is supposed to be her character as a blood elf, but her character got a tan and dye job
