Stars shined brightly across the sky as my green amber eyes glanced up to only face with the site of many crystals and down to small little specks that lined up to form the shape of the leaf simbol. "Sakura, you awake?"
My eyes wondered over to a man with short, but sharp gray hair covering his head bane that glimered slowly of the rays of moonlight as he stared. His name was Kakashi Hatake, my squad sensei since I was a genin. Only difference between then and now is, I have a fear of looking at his face. A sharp feeling struk deep into my chest as I breathed slowly, "Yes, I am awake, what do you need?"
"I was wondering if I could ask you something?" His gray hair light up like lightning as I slouched upward to glimer on his neck, making the appearance of eye contact, he continued, "What will you do if Naruto and Sasuke, die?"
"I will cry my eyes out, but Naruto wouldn't want that from anyone. So I would try my best to being a shinobi konichi that is stubborn, and short tempered." A sm

From touchdown in Atlanta it is obvious I am, so to speak, no longer in Kansas.
I am asked what I am doing here. Repeatedly, and not always in a nice way. I want to answer with the obvious, that I am queuing endlessly for the privilege of being cross examined by an unfriendly customs officer who wants to know all kind of private details my best friend doesn't even know, but I swallow it back and smile meekly, while trying to act like I am not nervous, frustrated and insulted.
Procedures, waiting lines, probing questions, stamps and signatures, and then, finally, the liberating "Enjoy the United States".
I never felt more alien.
passports, fingerprints, eye scans...
I just want my love.
America amuses me.
This first meeting scratches only at the surface. I encounter all the clichés and smile inwardly: the food portions, the convenience stores, the SUVs.

Based on Naruto: Road to Ninja.
Naruto and Sakura found themselves in a parallel universe from their own, in consequence of Madara Uchiha's genjutsu. They encountered him in the Leaf Village's park and engaged him into battle. However, an essential aspect that they failed to remember was that they should never look in an Uchiha's eyes during combat and their mistake thwarted them dearly. They were sent in this strange and twisted world where their friends didn't act nor dress the same; Kiba preferred cats, Choji was thin, Shikamaru was goofy, Ino was shy, Rock Lee was a pervert, Shino disliked insects, Hinata was fierce and so on. Though, the thing that shocked them to the core was that Sasuke - a rogue ninja in their world - never left the village and was basically a playboy. Moreover, Naruto's parents were still alive considering that Sakura's father was the Fourth Hokage in Minato's place and sacrificed himself for the greater good, alongside his wife. Other than that, everythin

that can be painful to look upon,
because it tears me in two,
achingly all I want is to reach out and touch you,
to clutch you close, and be your shelter from the world,
yet I fear you are so unflinchingly perfect
like Eurydice you will disintegrate before my very eyes,
and then I will be left stranded in this world alone
without you, and all my beautiful words will mean nothing.
But still, that delicacy, like the membrane of a butterfly wing
caught within the sunlight belies a vitally warm strength
which transudes through your pores, gives me new faith,
and suddenly you become my stronghold, my hold-fast,
it seems impossible now that you are capable of combusting.

Oh Captain, my Captain! I say it to mock,
You're lucky as hell but to me you're a c***.
Please spare me the missions, I've no head for heights,
Balloons and big lists lead me only to blights.
Evading the probes of an alien race,
Then having to witness your > : ( angry face...
But what choice have I? I'm involved in these fights,
With Cancerous space-monsters full of red sprites,
And Lemonade weirdos and God knows what next,
Just how can you stay so serene and unvexed?
What price should I pay for your simple delights,
Be eaten by whales after soiling my whites?
I know you won't listen, but you'll come unstuck,
And one of these days you'll run right out of luck,
Your empire will fall, and your ego besides,
It's karma for sure, like the turn of the tides,
And then I will lol, sitting in my own muck,
Coz after all this I just won't give a f***.

Running. The earth burst in front of her as she ran, her body not stopping in time. She ran headlong into the sheer rock face that had cropped up in front of her and she turned to see the creature of her nightmares. The tall man looked down on the little girl, she looked to be about eight or nine, and he laughed. Her father roared in anger as the man picked up the girl and ran his hand up her leg, close to touching her where none should, but he was stopped by her father ramming himself into her attacker. She flew through the air and landed on a jagged rock, the pain registering full force as her father's flame reached out to the earth bender and burned him to white ashes. The fire spread and absorbed her mother's dead body, it seared her unseeing eyes, it took her beautiful black hair and turned it to cinders.
Kana woke in a sweat, her sheets soaked through with perspiration. Her last memory of her mother.... she looked down at her leg where the long scar reached
