absorbing the full spectrum of lives and worlds
thinking about them all

GoodbyeYou're so faraway.Goodbye5 months ago in Free Verse More Like This
You never breathe or say a thing.
You're a monster.
Torn to shreds without a word.
I'm a ghost.
Lost when you needed me the most.
I don't care.
You've let me down.
You're the cruel one.
Goodbye to you and all you've done.

The Falling of the Moon.O gentle moon you are to me,The Falling of the Moon.5 months ago in Free Verse More Like This
you shine on me quite luminously,
you're ceaseless with ubiquity.
And light there swooning, irridiscent and bright.
How lovely you fall inwardly plight.
A distraction it is, bestowed upon dear.
How I wish, thy sky were clear!
If then, would snow fall down?
White and soft, all year 'round?
Could then the cold be felt even at all,
As the snow would steadily fall?
A flash of fur, a thud of paws
hits the earth in thunderous awe.
Blue eyes bright in falling night.
Soft warm breathe in winters strife.
Chin lifts up to catch thy eye,
moonlights milky light.
Jowls spread wide, eyes roll back.
A chilling

All Suns Set.All Suns Set.6 months ago in Free Verse More Like This
Here I stand on crystal sands,
sinking in colliding land,
bordering a man-made hedge,
at the very edge, I say,
at the very edge.
Off to sea I readily stare,
gazing to the west.
The sun gives way to hasty glare,
a glare of falling light.
Guiding to the night, I see
guiding to the night.
Your arms are where I'd rather be,
safe in iron-hold.
And fallen through the skies I see,
the stories to be told,
as the dreams I've yet to weave.
In your arms, I'll never leave
Your arms I'll never leave.
As suns do set in Western skies,
they steal my stopping heart.
For only you will I fly.
Until death shall do us part.
I can see it

Beginning Hath no End, but bestowed instead a SongMy beloved, though time passes throughout its own stand-still, I sit here gazing wonderingly up at the stars whom shine so brilliantly, filled with the mystical liquefaction of white-hot light. Beneath a tree I sit, quill in hand. Book quite empty, pages and blank and empty as the words rolling off my own heavy tongue. A song of ages courses through my veins, urgently telling me to write of their melody. I know not of the ways to describe fully the depth of the world's song, ancient and quite sacred. Not even I can hear all the pieces of its aromatic melody, but I can sway easily to its rhythm right here beneath the tree, as anyone else may.Beginning Hath no End, but bestowed instead a Song5 months ago in Philosophical More Like This

Hiding From YesterdayBack in the pastHiding From Yesterday9 months ago in Free Verse More Like This
Your shadow pursued mine
It shined when I was alone
And vanished when thunder called
Running from tomorrow
Your scent washed away my sanity
It gave me fever, burned me up
Left me blurred, unable to recover
Hiding from yesterday
You gave me a kiss
A touch that killed me
And left my corpse in the corner
Dreaming on forever
You spill a rain that wakes me up
My eyes on fire, burns from gazing into your soul
Choked upon words, I finally let you go

Breathe.Breathe. And cry. And scream. And die.Breathe.2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
Breathe in deeply, and try to fly...
What is restricting me?
I feel grounded, but why?
I was set free...
I was and am blissful.
Ever soulful...
So why can't I breathe?
Why can't I heed your advice?
Why am I running...
Why am I scared?
If I now know how much you really do care.
I don't understand.
I've never been so petrified.
Not ever in my life.
I know you are there, and you're so close I could simply reach out to touch you.
Reach out and embrace you.
Yet you are so far away...even when you are standing right there.
I don't know myself at all.
I have again found myself in free fall.
