The Ends of Worlds - 2:1Demyx wasn't sure how long he'd been unconscious, if he had been. All things considered, it seemed awfully likely. But that was only a minor detail; what counted for more was that he was still alive, still in pain, and still aboard the TARDIS. And, he was reasonably sure, he could distantly hear that grinding noise that meant the TARDIS was either taking off or landing. Since the Doctor had promised a hospital, and he didn't remember a hospital yet, it damn well better have been landing. Though if the Doctor had decided to screw him over, and was just going off wherever he pleased...well, there wasn't a blessed, damned, or morally neutral thing Demyx could do about it except portal home, get Vexen's help, and try to put together a real rescue mission, but...Gods above, it was bad enough that Axel was trapped on that dying world without even more of the Organization being in danger, and if a rescue mission had to be carried out in real time, it might already be too late. "Hmm? Who might that be?"
"His name is Zexion," Demyx said, pondering the chessboard currently being displayed on his bed tray/tablet, wondering what move he could possibly make that wouldn't lose him the game in five moves or less, and blessing whoever was genius enough to include games on it for patients to play when they got bored. "He is the best chess player I know, but I have to wonder how badly he'd be thrown off by the changed rules. I'd hate to see how he'd react to some of the multidimensional chessboards."
"Really?" the Doctor said casually, as Demyx finally made a move and he countered it without even seeming to think about it. "I have to ask, who's the second-best?"
"It used to be me, until about eight moves into this game. Now I'm in third..."
"Well, for not playing by the same rules you're used to, you're not doing any too badly," the Doct

Riku let out a deep, frustrated sigh, feeling like banging his head against the wall until his skull cracked open. At least that would free him from his misery. His hand automatically shot up to run through his hair, but he stopped himself, knowing that it would only make him feel worse… after everything that had happened.
To distract himself, he opened the Christmas card he'd just found in the mail box (even though he'd put on a hood first, before going outside). When he saw that the card had the shape of a bright yellow Paopu fruit (including a leaf), he thought that it was from Kairi, who always came up with creatice concepts. This one looked very pretty, what with those little glitters on the front of the card. However, when Riku opened the card and hhis aquamarine eyes fell on the handwriting (which looked more like scrawling), he could only frown angrily. He had the urge to throw the card into the hearth and never look back at it again, but curiosity took over him.

The Ends of Worlds - 2:3"Come on, Doc, what are you running from?" Demyx asked, pressing his face against a window with that same twisted smile, as the Doctor did his level best to lock the door quickly, while the two of them were on different sides of it, and quickly discovered that it didn't lock. "I'm not that scary. I'm just an ordinary Nobody..."The Ends of Worlds - 2:33 years ago in Sci-Fi More Like This
"Ordinary is relative," the Doctor said, hastily glancing back to make sure Yin was still all right - she looked terrified, but yes, she was - and to see if there were any sort of shades on the windows he could use to block the view in. After all, Demyx hadn't made a dark rift from his room to here until he'd seen the hallway through his tablet - and wasn't that the sort of stupid mistake that would keep you awake at night for weeks kicking yourself. He should have done his level best to conceal his surroundings, not simply show them off...
And now you just let a half-crazed Meanwhile loose in a hospital and led him straight to the nursery. Well done, you.
Taste of SaltSuper nova summers and endless nights.Taste of Salt3 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
How many times have I sat atop this clock tower, wishing for....something more.
Longing to hear the beat of a heart that doesn't exist.
Longing to feel, anything.
The sun casts a shadow and I find it ironic.
Can shadows cast shadows?
What if I fell?.....Would I shatter to a million pieces, or would I just...
The taste of the sea on my lips: sweet and salty, bitter and unsure.
And something else.
The taste of you and forgotten memories.
The memory of a room filled with white, a lonely room.
A memory of you.
The world slips away and fades to black as I find myself falling, falling down.
I close my eyes waiting to shatter, but instead I feel the blaze of summer on my skin.
I hear the tinkling of laughter and I find that the warmth is you, holding me close.
I told you we'd meet again. You say with a soft smile.
And together we find a way to be whole.

Our weapons neatly place high above our chairs

And I in my musical nightcap, and eight in a room agleam
Holding a plushie of thirteen and having steaming fiery dream
Outside my window I hear a loud shatter
I sprung off my sheets to investigate that unruly chatter

"Hey... Is that natural?" he asks, carefully brushing some of Aqua's blue bangs out of her eyes, his fingertips touching her cheekbone lightly. The softness of her hair is marvelling.
It amuses Terra to no end that such a small gesture, a touch as light as a feather, has such a great impact on her, for her cheeks turn a faint pink the moment their skin make contact, and he chuckles.
Honestly, who cares about the eventual answer when something like this happens in front of his very eyes? It's moments like this that she just makes him want to grab her and kiss her until he feels light-headed from the impact...

It was official: Vanitas hadn't felt this nervous for quite some time now. It was silly and incredibly out of character, so he kept it to himself. Not only because he hated showing people his weaknesses, but also because the last thing he needed was Kairi teasing him about it for the rest of the week. And tease she would, because she just was that twisted. Anyone who disagreed didn't know her as well as he did, period. He'd probably been rubbing off on her.
"Grandma's in the livingroom, by the way," the redhead said, as she stepped aside to let him in.
"...Kay," he said with an indifferent shrug (at least, he was hoping that it looked nonchalant rather than awkward).
Like I even care where the hell she is, he thought to himself, but he knew better than to tell Kairi.
"Oh, and take your shoes off, please. I just cleaned the place," Kairi continued.

Quite the beautiful girl.
Quite the talented poet.
Quite the genius artist.
How can she feel bad about herself?
How can she want to be someone else,
When every time I read her poem,
See her picture,
Hear her voice,
I know I'd give anything to be like her?
What can I say to the girl
Who's scared of herself?
She's not afraid that she can't do it.
She's afraid that she can
Better than anyone else could even dream to.
What this all comes down to
Is that she's scared
Of scaring us.

I'll never forget that day.
I had just entered my first year in high school when I chose to take an art class. I always liked drawing, so I thought why not?
The teacher, Mrs. Xine, had told everyone to sit wherever they liked in tables wide enough for up to four people. I sat with my only friends in that class, Kairi, Xion and Sora. In our class, there was a perfect thirty two people, so nobody got left out from a table. That is, until a boy came late clutching a tardy slip in his hand. He had come bursting through the door. Odd number thirty three who had interrupted Mrs. Xine's lesson.
"You're late," the teacher said to the boy with crossed arms and narrowed eyes. She had been feeling sour after being cut off.
The boy tried explaining himself, but the teacher had kept talking while he was in mid sentence.
"I'm sorry I'm late, but it was because I was-"
"-Take a seat," she said while snatching the tardy slip away fro

Rule 1. Don't ask us what we're thinking about unless you are prepared to discuss topics such as football or motor sports.
It was another delightfully lazy Sunday. Since all chores were finished, Cloud, Tifa, Denzel and Marlene had more than enough time to spend some time together. They'd all agreed that the best way to do that was by playing their most favorite game in the world: 'I Have Never.'
At the moment, it seemed that Marlene was winning, because she still had four fingers up. Denzel and Tifa had three and Cloud had two, meaning that he was in the danger zone. The one who had the most fingers left after everyone else had none, was the winner and he or she was allowed to give the loser a mandatory task. Marlene was known for giving the most surprising comma

"Oh, but I didn't order-" I protested loudly, but it was in vain.
The older lady beat me to the punch by saying something in what I would guess was Chinese. She resolutely pushed the plate into my chest, then turned around and left my table, her head held high.
What the actual hell?
It came out as a question, because I wasn't sure what to make of this. Quite honestly, I also wasn't so sure if I was ever going to visit this Chinese restaurant again. First that tall, quiet, red-haired guy who worked here and kept glancing at me when he thought I wasn't looking. Now this old lady acting weird to me and giving me stuff I didn't ask for… This was a strange place, that's for sure.
Or maybe it's just been a long day and it's all in my mind. Wouldn't be the first time.
Since she wasn't going to take it back, I decided to do with the order as I pleased.
