TABLE LAMP XVI Lamp is made of senegalese calabash. It is the first lamp where I used halogen light bulb (more technical information in INFO section). Thanks to it the light patterns on the walls are more clear and more details are visible. White carved circles are deeper layer of wood which allows some light to pass through it. At the top of the lamp is closing part locked with little magnets. The base is finished with brown jeweller waxed string. At the end of the base on the wooden part is burned Calabarte logo with date when lamp was finished. Diameters of the gourd are 18 and 21cm. Lamp is 35cm high. Diameter of the base is 24cm.
TABLE LAMP XVIII Lamp is made of senegalese calabash. White carvings are deeper layer of wood which allows some light to pass through it. Especially with white thin lines was quite laborious work. At the end of the base, on the wooden part is carved Calabarte logo and date when lamp was made (06.2012 – it was the main month of work). Diameter of the gourd is 21cm. Lamp is 35,5cm high. Diameter of the base is 24,5cm.
Christmas tree earrings studs made from 2mm thick plexiglass (cut by hand with saw). Hand illustrated and varnished to protect color and ink. Nickel free earring posts are attached with epoxy. They measure about 2 tall (0.7 inch). They come in a gift box and can be shipped worldwide.
Here's four pairs of earrings I made recently, using the Japanese Ball pattern, in blue, green, white, and violet.
These are pretty tiny, I used 20g 1/8" rings, with 18g 3/16" rings to connect the hooks with. All are a mixture of Red Brass rings and anodized aluminum. I feel that the added color gives them a little class, without overdoing it and making them look gaudy.
ANYHOOZ it just wouldn't be right if I didn't shamelessly promote myself, so these are also on my etsy page: [link]
