Optica from the Space Stallions - which is a really, really, REALLY awesome and amazing short movie made by the bachelor film project 2012 from The Animation Workshop. If you haven't watched this, your life must be a really sad thing so watch it. Now. -> [link]
And I had to cosplay this. I just had to. But yes, I do question my choice of attire. Really, this cosplay contains EVERYTHING that don't look good on me - IN GOLD! ~_~° But guess what? I don't give a fuck. I had so much fun and I enjoyed this cosplay so much that did not even care about all the things that went wrong.
Special Thanks got to: ~Corroder666 who is not only an amazing cosplayer but also a real darling and made the horse an my crown as a ultra light weight cast.
Forgot to upload this one, back in november. I saw a similar pendant around, just decided to add some potterian details. You can recognise bertie botts every flavor beans, a chocolate frog, and a pumpkin pasty next to the owl ( which actually resembles a normal pumpkin because well, I guess I was inspired by the videogames)
Advent Calendar (with 31 compartments, so it can be used in ANY month) based on Tolkien's "The Hobbit" -- I made this with a wide variety of materials including watercolor, colored pencil, ink (including gold and silver ink), card stock and an assortment of papers, matboard, and lots and lots of patience with scissors, glue, and exacto knife. Each window or door opens onto a little compartment; compartments vary in depth -- from right at the surface of the calendar to an inch deep, and each features a drawing of a character or important object from "The Hobbit" (you may've guessed already, but #1 is of course The One Ring while the largest, 31, opens onto Bilbo in his hallway). All of my drawings are based on the book descriptions; I tried not to be too influenced by the movies (even though I really love them!)
Hand painted canvas shoes painted with designs and maps from the Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. The top view is of Bag End with part of the map of the Shire. The next one down is a view of mountains with Smaug in the sky based on Tolkien's own drawing, accompanied by part of Thror's map. The one after that is the tree of Gondor with a map of Gondor and finally, a Rhoan horse design with a map of Rohan. The LOTR shoe has the 'One Ring' poem written around it, the Hobbit shoes has the names of the 7 hobbit meals surrounding it.
