i hope you have a very merry unbirthday!!!
Oh man! This picture has been a very long work in progress, but I believe I have finally come to the point where I can be happy with it and say I'm done! I can't recall ever putting so much effort into one piece, but even though it was long and tough, it was well worth it!
When I first started, I had wanted to pick the season Winter, but I just couldn't think of anything. So, I ended up going with the season I think is the prettiest, just so I could really give myself a challenge. At first, it was a simple picture in my sketchbook, but it eventually evolved into a picture filled with nature and whatnot. Personally, I had the most fun working on the birds and fish, and I'm glad that I gave this contest a chance
I encourage everyone to check out all the entries if you have the chance. There are just so many beautiful and creative pieces, and I've even checked out the gallery multiple times already!
My submission for contest. I designed this to be a front-and-back cover that folds over the spine. As such, I left ample space on the back for synopsis text and whatnot. This is probably the largest project I've done up to date, if only because of the background. My first time trying a cityscape. It's messy but I think it's half-decent for a first go. Explored lots of painting styles. Got lazy on the train. Friggin train...
Yesterday, while I got up and ready for work, I wanted to wear one of my skirts... And was like... YEAH I CAN EVEN THOUGH ITS SNOWING, I HAS LEG WARMERS TO KEEP ME WARM! I love leg warmers, they are super cute on girls... BUT NOT MEN. I also remembered Pete has a pair... So I drew this while at work LOL!
I don't know if I ever admitted this, but back my freshmen year of high school... Probably early 2004, I started reading Naruto. I read the first three or four books or something, and tossed them out-- I didn't like them, not in my interest range. But I actually DID like Lee. My ex boyfriend bought me a few plushies, pins because i thought he was cute, that's all. Not much of a fan to be honest, but cute. I liked him for his manly brows, and NOT his leg warmers.
*peteiswhatweaimfor has cosplayed Rock Lee....HISSSS Eww. Gross. He has the orange leg warmers in my closet. I'd rather DIE than see them on him... BUT HE THREATENS ME ABOUT PUTTING THEM ON.
That is all.
Love you, Peter! ;3
wear leg warmers, and I'll shun you forever, FAGGOT.
ps: I do not use the term faggots to mean, "gay people" I know PLENTY of gay men that are't "FAGGOTS" XD And wasn't intended to be derogatory towards them. <3 I'm probably friends with more gay people, than I am women, or straight men.
This is Akanma, a character that I have yet to bring into a FanFiction.net story I've been writing. She is a Fusion of Akane, and Ranma, of Ranma 1/2. I named her Akanma (instead of Rakane) because I feel that Akanma provides a better mix of the two names, not because I have some strange fascination with Akuma of Street Fighter (and besides, she looks MUCH better then him, don't you think? ).
FULL VIEW IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED

Edit: She's complete!! WOO HOO!!
I especially love the eyes...my first time making my own too.
