Here is my entry for the RIFT Contest.

The Death colossus that i created is a humongous Hydra that is always ready to feed on those poor souls who stupidly dare to confront her power and fierceness.

My contest entry for the Hearthstone Goblin Vs. Gnomes challange! I really wanted to stay true to my style. I didn't, however, want to totally neglect the typical comic wow style, but in the end I feel like I did that anyway x> For measure, I figured I'd bring the comic expression in with the gnomes in the background.

Working with this composition was difficult. To get the elements to work together I had to pay close attention to the values all the time. That was a challenge for me. But in the end I think it payed off due to the way I was able to depict the utilities of my weapon!

I hope you like it! <3

Ps. Here's the sketch sheet: Goblin Weapon

UPDATE: Some tweaks. In her face!!
UPDATE 2: Okay I got that she doesn't look like a girl. And I'll work on it.
UPDATE 3: Now I think I got her look kinda right.

Hey people! I've finally managed to finish my entry for the Tomb Raider Contest! :)

The idea behind the illustration is a sort of "turning point", where she have to give up some of her principles, in order to survive. As if she have already spent some days in the island and figured out that eating coconuts all day wouldn't save her.

Also, this is where Lara stops feeling she's beaten, and starts making her own way to adapt to the harsh, unknown environment, since the game shows the "human" side of Lara, prior to the "fearless" and "badass" time of her life. :)

I was also thinking about calling the piece "Human after all", "what do you guys think?

As usual, sketching on paper, completely colored on Painter 12 and tweaking in Photoshop. It was a great great opportunity to learn some techniques and making new brushes, I think it kinda paid off. :)

I hope you'll enjoy it, and good luck to all entrants!!!
