----Frequently asked QuestionsHow to pronounce my name
A. www.youtube.com/watch?v=DvlWQy…Q. How much is (insert name here) pony?
A. Prices depend on individual ponies, please note me and I can give you a specific price. Only plushes are available for commission. PRICES ONLY VIA NOTEQ. Can I commission you?
A. Commissions are CLOSED. Next opening time still undecidedQ. Can I trade with you?
A. While I would love to trade as much as possible, I simply don't have the time (or finances) to trade with everyone. I'm a full time student, so trades are very expensive for me (for plushes especially) with material and postage costs.
I will typically only trade with people that I have admired for a long time. Please be understanding that I cannot trade with everyone. I am more likely to trade with those who I contact myself, rather than through requests.
When trading for digital art, I typically ask for equal dollar value, digital art to plush. So if the plush I made cost $300, I would expect $300 worth of digital art in return, plus the value of postage if the trader does not want to cover that themselves. Q. Can I critique your work? or Why don't you like critique?
A. I prefer to seek critique of my work in my own time, from my fellow plushmakers in private. Please understand that while you may have good intentions, I really do not like receiving critique on my work unless requested. I am very hard on myself regarding my own work and will often beat myself up if I make something with an element not up to my own standard. It really rubs salt in my wounds to highlight this in unrequested critique. Thankyou for understanding. Of course if you are a commissioner PLEASE don't hesitate to request specific aspects of a plush to your taste. I will do what I can to make you happy. Q. Can I buy your plush pattern?A. No, I will not be sharing my plush pattern. Q. Awwww.. but that isn't fair!
A. Points to cliff. Q. But I like your old plush pattern better/I don't like ___ about your pattern/I don't like your prices..
A. I'm sorry but I make my plushes to my own preferences and ideals. If you don't like it, please do not say so, it doesn't help anyone.
Of course if you are a commissioner PLEASE don't hesitate to request specific aspects of a plush to your taste. I will do what I can to make you happy. It is your plush and you should be pleased with it. Q. What do you make your plushes out of?
A. I use minky fabric. I purchase it from plushaddict.co.ukQ. How do you do your eyes on your plushes?
A. I use a brother Innovis 750D embroidery machine, Madiera Rayon embroidery thread, and Bernina V6 embroidery software.Q. When will plush commissions open?
A. I'm currently on a short break. I will post a journal 1-2 weeks before they open. Q. Why do your plushes cost so much?
A. Plushes are a luxury item. They are custom made from high quality materials, using quality machinery. Plushmaking is a skilled artform, and plushes can take 3-7+ days to make. Patterns such as my pony pattern have had 40+ revisions to get to their current state.
If you do not like my prices, please do not comment/whinge. There are other plush artists (or commercial plushes) out there that may suit your budget. Q. Can our OC's be friends?
A. Of course! However I don't really have time to make art of our OC's together, or roleplay etc. Q. Can I RP your character/s?
A. I am no longer fine with people doing this. Please do not rp my characters or steal their art. Many of my OCs are very personal and are not toys to play with. Q. Can you advertise _______ for me? Or can I advertise _______ for you in return for _____?
A. No. Q. Can I draw your OC/s?
A. Of course!! I love it when people draw my OCs. Please make sure to send me a link when you are done. Q. Can I have a discount because ______?
A. No. I will not bend to any amount of whinging or begging. This makes it even LESS likely that I will make a pony for you. Sending several notes begging/asking the same thing will also make me less likely to make your pony. Q. But I'm poor/in the military/ a student/ (insert muffled whinging noises)
A. As above. Q. Can I reserve a commission place or do something to make you choose my pony?
A. I do not typically reserve commission spaces. I choose commissions based on what projects appeal to me most, so the best you can do is be polite, provide adequate references, and choose an appealing pony to request. You can always offer to pay more to make a project more appealing/worth my while, but primarily spaces are chosen on my preference. I rarely accept commissions for Rarity or RD, as they are incredibly complicated. Understand that I am very unlikely to accept requests for them. (Rarity with a single colour purple mane is much more likely to be accepted)Q. Can you make princesses/foals/laying/sitting ponies etc?
A. I do not have these patterns available at this time. I am aiming to make princesses later this year, but please do not request any of the above patterns for commissions, as I am not able to make them right now. Q. Can you make plushes other than ponies?
A. Of course! Prices will depend on complexity however. Q. Can you make smaller plushes for cheaper?
A. For pony plushes no. I only make them to set sizes. Mares are 17 inches, stallions are 19 inches, and fillies are 11 inches. But for any plush other than ponies, you can request any size (and smaller will naturally be cheaper)Q. How big are your ponies?
A. 17 inch mares below for reference. Q. Can we be friends?
A. Becoming friends is a natural process, so asking to be my friend won't make it so. Friendship happens over time, and cannot be requested or forced.Q. Do you come from a smoke/pet free home?
A. Neither I or anyone I live with smokes. I do however have pet cats and dogs. They are never allowed in my plush room but if you are severely allergic I would suggest looking elsewhere just to be safe.
