Okay, so this stamp came about because a few minutes I checked my messages and I found one of a comment on my stamp on God's forgiveness. He asserted that if "God truly cared about anyone he wouldn't send them to hell."
This is the biggest misconception believed about God in today's world. Even by christians. God does NOT send anyone into hell. People go to hell go there by their own choice.
Of course, he ended up resorting to insults and kept throwing the same arguments over and over again which just shows me how desperate he was to point my my "inconsistencies." He even told me that he heard ordained priests say "God will send you to hell" or "God will never forgive you." I've been Catholic for 4 years and I can tell you this is not what the church teaches.
God's plan is not to send anyone into hell, but he will not interfere with someone's free will. You are free to love or hate God, but no matter what He will always love you.
This is my entry for #HogwartsStamps first contest, "What Harry Potter Means to Us." I chose to use this quotation from J.K. Rowling that has stuck with me ever since she said it at the London premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2.
This quotation really sums up exactly how I feel about the Harry Potter series. That, even though all the books are out and all the movies released, we can always go back to Hogwarts whenever we start to miss it. It's something that's eternal and that will stay with me throughout my life.
