Over the next few days, Phil was confined to his bed, both by his mother and the illness alike. It finally started to leave him after the third day and he was no longer sleepy to the point of passing out, definitely an improvement. Previously, he'd spent well over half of his day asleep but now he was able to stay awake from lunchtime until around 10 at night with only a few short naps in between. As a result of this, he was allowed his laptop back to keep him entertained during his waking hours. She'd taken it away when the worst of the sickness had hit, insisting he needed to sleep as much as possible. "We're going for a walk," I informed Ed as I ambled back from our small kitchen clutching a thermos flask of tea. I looked down at my house mates form curled up on the sofa, wrapped in a big blue blanket. I chuckled at the TARDIS pattern on it. He was so nerdy sometimes.
"But Tooooooooom," he whined like a petulant child. "I don't wanna. It's cooooold,"
I just laughed. "It's snowing,"
Ed leapt up from the sofa and sprinted to the window to look. Wordlessly he ran down the hallway. I followed him, smiling, as he pulled his coat on then threw me my gloves. I yanked them on over my long fingers before Ed grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the door excitedly.
"Come on, I love snow. Let's play in it," He gushed, his Mancunian accent becoming more pronounced in his excitement.
He yanked open the door, nearly tearing it off its hinges with his enthusiasm. He ran outside, dragging me behind him. He seemed to realise when we got outside that he was still holding my hand
