EnglandxReader- OriginsYou and Arthur walked along the side of the road, holding hands. You loved this time of the evening: Everything was quiet except for the quiet rustling of the dry leaves on the sidewalk. Complete peace. You looked down at the autumn leaves on the ground, happily noting all their colors and shapes. And then you saw it, huddling down in a little ditch, barely noticeable but for a small patch of white fur.
"Arty, look at this!" You tugged on his sleeve, pulling him to the side of the road and bending over the little creature in the ditch.
"What is it, Ducky?" Arthur asked, one caterpillar eyebrow arched inquisitively. He picked the little thing up out of the brush, inspecting it in the light of the setting sun.
It was a small, white bunny. Its pink wet nose twitched and its large brown eyes twinkled knowingly. The little guy shivered in Arthur's hands, looking a bit frightened yet hopeful.
"Aw, a little bunny! Can we keep it, Arty? Please?"
"Well, I don't see why not. What do you say, old

He felt like he was on top of the world. His mind was soaring; his heart pounded heavily in his chest with excitement and power. And she was the source of it all. He watched as she pirouetted across the dark tile floor, her feet gliding across the tiles as if it wasn’t even there. Her arms fell around her body gracefully as they swayed to the imaginary music in her head. Her simple white dress flowed around her, the fabric billowing out from her waist, gently twirling around her spinning legs. The blue bow that was wrapped around her (h/l) (h/c) hair chased behind her as she teetered back and forth. She was merely a blur of colors. Pink, blue, white.

It was Christmas Day, and you were relaxed in your comfiest chair. You were cuddled up in a Snuggie and your favorite flannel pajamas, watching a DVD you had been sent in the mail from your grandmother for Christmas. Beside you were a few books and your cell phone. This was your first year being alone for Christmas. Before, you had always had your parents, but now that you had moved out of town to live on your own and couldn't afford to drive all the way to their house, you were enjoying your Christmas quietly.
"I wonder how Christmas breakfast went..." you said quietly, thinking of the feast of pancakes, waffles, muffins, and so much more your mother and grandmother always made. You used to help, but that year you weren't there to.
You sighed and turned back to your little TV. You were happy as long as you had your books and computer, but you hadn’t realized how lonely it could get sometimes. It probably didn’t help that you

You looked up in alarm from your book, "Huh?" You blinked at the man standing above you, holding a cup of tea in his hand. It was your boyfriend, Arthur Kirkland.
"I asked why you're still awake."
"I couldn't sleep…" you stifled a yawn, "So I decided to read a chapter or two of this book."
"And then the whole rest of the series, I see…" Arthur chuckled, gesturing at the pile of novels surrounding you.
"Sue me, it's interesting!" You stuck your tongue out at the Brit.
"I'll leave you to it then…" Arthur rolled his eyes and began to walk away.
"No, wait!" You called after him.
"Yes, dear?" Arthur turned back to you, a sparkle of amusement in his eyes.
"Read to me." You held your book out, giving Arthur a wide eyed, innocent look accompanied with your signature pout you knew he couldn't resist.
"Fine… But just for a bit. I have to go to work in a little bit." Arthur sat down next to you with a groan, setting his teacup on the floor.

It was fragrant and sultry, the windows thrown wide open and allowing the perfumed aroma of roses to filter through into the cozy sitting-room. The entire expanse seemed to glow gold and shades of amber, radient light spilling across the scratched leather sofa and surfaces like molten gold.
