For me, eyebrows make or break a cosplay. As I have naturally thick eyebrows (T_T), I had to search thoroughly to find a tutorial that suited me. Eventually, I came to rely on this method, and this tutorial/guide teaches and discusses with you on how to conceal your eyebrows (essentially 'sealing' down the hair) and how to draw your eyebrows.
Because if I can conceal my caterpillar eyebrows then anyone can 8'D
Feel free to download the tutorial and share it amongst your friends (reupload is okay as long as there are credits), but don't claim it as your own.
/EDIT: If you want to have more layers of glue, layer them on BEFORE you use your concealer.
inspired by one particular night out on the piss when it started to rain and made the city streets reflect like mirrors.
poem provided by the amazingly talented Nightgrid [link]
Often, late at night When dreams are swallowing most, I’m beneath the canopy of a shimmering mess: The pre-dawn cloak of night, Wandering like a star on the wrong trajectory, While the rain bursts bright against the bitumen.
I was lying next to him, I don't think I was strapped down. He was screaming, they'd ripped off his face. I couldn't see them - just their scalpels and scissors. When I awoke I could still hear his voice and see him him beside me screaming and writhing in his restraints, even with my eyes open.
[Altered for my lack of ability with male anatomy in perspective]
This is "Aphelion" (named after the Tristania song), a white and silver male kirin.
Aphelion is a ooak (one of a kind) hand made unicorn or kirin sculpture. He was made entirely from scratch from polymer clay over a wire and tin foil armature. He is about 11 inches long fron front hoof to the tip of the tail, and about 8 inches from the ground to the tip of his antler.
I haven't made a lying down horse or anything in ages. It was difficult but I love sculptures in lying down poses, I would make tons if it wasn't so hard. Ah well, practise practise. I had intended to make a white furry kirin for a few months now, so it's nice to have him done.
His eyes are "rain" coloured 5mm equine pupil eyes from Dreaming Tree Studio (they are inset and made of resin). The hair is cashmere goat fur, which I had never used before. I enjoyed making the antlers especially, you will see more of them in the future!
Aphelion is on ebay right now! The auction starts at $0.99 with free shipping. Please check it out! [link]
