I think I'm starting to like Mera more then Aquaman. Definitly my favorite female DC character. She only spent a few minutes as a Red Lantern and there weren't many pictures.
I like that even after the ring came off, she still has the vengeful spirit of an RL, and has come close to killing those who deserve it. She also manages to be the most attractive DC girl by actually wearing More then most of them.

this one I shopped her face from the new series onto her, since I liked the full body shot but her face wasn't raging in the original. this was from the moment before the ring came off.

Now i wanted to try something a little harder, so i went for the Earth 2 Hawkgirl because of the helmet.
It was a bit difficult, the helmet form is odd, and there are not many pictures to use for reference, even less cosplayers to base the form.
anyway here it is, hope you like it and please comment! this time in particular i would really appreciate some feedback

i really dont like the wings, if someone has any good pics please let me know!

Model is Brittany Madisen, Hawkgirl is (C) to DC Comics

When the IronMan2 was anounced that it was on the works, for some reason i thought Scarlet Johansson was goanna play Spider-Woman... When i was 90% done with this piece i found out that it was BlackWidow whom she would be playing not Jessica Drew aka SpiderWoman. But I still liked the way it came out so i left it just the way it was. I reallllly enjoyed working on this piece, it was something so out of my element as far as the lighting and the key light and considering that it was all done with a 300 soft brush (was a bit clueless as far as my options hah stupid me!).

This is a SUPERMAN color graphic being preparted for my NEW and improved Lostonwallace.com site! I worked for years with DC Comics' licensing department, learning the animated styles and other methods of drawing. I love Bruce Timm's animated style, and like to see how I can push it in my own directions. This illustration was inked with a brush and colored via Photoshop. Hope you like!
