It shall not end until my death.
I shall partake in no strife, scold no cons, father no unrest.
I shall wear no crowns and win no fortune.
I shall aid and help at my post.
I am the crew of Banzaicon.
I am the watcher in the halls.
I am the fire that burns against the cold, the crew that makes Banzaicon, the light that repels the haters, the shield that guards the realm of our fans.
I pledge my life and honor to Banzaicrew, for this con and all the cons to come.

When I woke up it was already 12:00. Had I really slept that long. I was sore all over and my head throbbed. I sat up slowly, wincing at the sudden burst of agony in my arms and back. I tried to stand up but became dizzy and collapsed to the floor. The world was a blur and I couldn't see. At time like this it would help to have parents in the house.
Suddenly I couldn't breathe and I found myself gasping for breath. I coughed violently, adding more pain to my throat and stomach. When I looked I saw my hands stained in crimson. I hope I hadn't gotten some sort of disease. I leaned back on my bed panting already. I went over what happened last night. I had to kill some people. Destroy stuff. We stay outside in the woods all day. I show him all of my favorite places, including the paths I usually take to get to different areas in the town. Later, we decide to go off the trails and tromp around in unexplored areas of the woods. While we’re walking around, I teach him a new game that I learned from my friends at school: truth or dare.
“Okay, my turn… truth,” I tell him as I cringe, dreading what he’ll ask. Ghir really has a knack for torturing me now, especially with this game. Why did I ever even consider playing this with him?
“Hmm… I suppose I’ll go easy this time to give you a little break,” he says with a sigh as he leans his head to the side and crosses his arms. “If you could describe my look in one word, what would you use?” He opens his arms flamboyantly and smirks a little. I sigh in relief, then proceeded to answer the question. I

LARRY: Um, Batman?
*Batman does not even turn.*
BATMAN: I'm Batman.
LARRY: Yeah, um, I'm Larry with Child Welfare Services. You've adopted quite a few kids over the years and the Justice League would like to make sure you're doing a good job with them. Is that alright?
BATMAN: ...Go ahead.
*Larry makes a note on his clipboard. *
EXT. BACK-ALLEY -- NIGHT
