Possessing a dazzling array of attacks and the ability to fly through the skies, Charizard are rightfully feared as one of the most powerful Fire-type Pokémon known to exist. Sick DaysWith a barely audible moan, Red rolled over and buried his face into his pillow. It wasn't often he felt gravity's effects on his body when encased in a warm and comfortable bed. Then again, it wasn't very often he slept in a real bed. To stretch out his aching body comfortably without fear of a cold breeze to send a ripple over his chapped skin was simply wonderful. Clean sheets, a fuzzy pillow to snuggle with (oh wait, that was Pikachu), and his lover to share body heat with was one of the simple joys Red had discovered when staying in Viridian. Now if only he could get gravity to release its iron grip on his achy body.Sick Days3 years ago in Short Stories More Like This

The little boy sat on his bed, grappling with his shoelaces. After a moment of trying to remember how the buneary was supposed to go around the tree to get to its hole, he angrily gave up and kicked his shoes off across the room. He hurried over to his closet and grabbed his old strap on shoes; they were a little too small for him and he would have to scrunch up his toes, but he was in a hurry. He shoved his feet into his shoes, strapped them in, grabbed his bag and dashed toward his bedroom door. He ran past a mirror hanging on his wall, opened his door then stopped a couple of steps away from the top of the stairs. He ran back into his room and clawed his way under the bed, where he found his official red and green Pokemon League hat. He put it on and jumped to his feet, running past the mirror, stopping in front of it for

You giggled. "Hi, Raichu," you said. "How are you?" He cried happily. "That's good."
"Seems like he is happy to see you," Flint said.
"So do you know where Volkner is?" You asked. Raichu jumped down and you followed him. "I'll bring him out see you in a minute."
He took you to a dark room and Volkner was in front of a computer on the ground. You went over and sat behind him. You hugged him and said with an exhale, "Hi, Volkner." You rubbed his chest seductively.
"(Name)? You're here?" he asked typing away not even looking away. "What do you want?" He asked harshly.
"You to take a break," you said. "Raichu's getting worried about you and so am I." You said while rubbing his arm. "So let's take a break."
"I'm busy," he said.
"So," you said almost kissed his neck. "You really need one. Because I'm bored."

The word "Pokémon" is a word that was introduced around 200 years ago. Since then, it has replaced similar words such as creature, beast and monster almost completely. The initiative was the discovery that RE could be used for capturing monsters in Apricorn fruit, so one could carry them in their "pockets". From there, the now old forms "Pocket Monster" was derived, which was then shortened to Pokémon. Around a hundred years ago, it was still customary to use "creature" and "monster" for wild Pokémon, but even those uses have died, leaving both words to sound old-fashioned and out of use.
Even before the discovery of the Pokeball, humans have strived to tame and control monsters, many attempts successful, but many also unsuccessful. They were used for food, but many of them were also a danger, because they possessed much stronger powers than humans did. Many monsters were worshipped because of their strange abil

The fingers belonged to Ms. Hungary, who still loved dressing Italy up, even now that Italy was much older. She had done it many times before, every spring for the May festival, but her work on her hair still left him breathless.

Yawning, I drew upon the newfound power that I now possessed.
It started off with the sky darkening. I stalled for a moment mid-move to stare up at my trainer in confusion.

This team of nasty people have gone to great lengths to get what they want, from designing pokeballs to heighten the anger of a pokemon to make it evil and attack anything, from genetic mutation altering the part of the brain that expresses hate and anger.
Just recently, the team has been working on a special group of genetically mutated pokemon from birth. They broke into a breeding center and stole most-to all the eggs and experimented on them. Most rotted and failed the genetic testing. Few survived.. and hatched. Among the strongest was a newborn Absol, quite big for his size.

Twin dragons, twin heroes, with opposites alike
Betwixt truth and ideals; the black and the white
Both seeking the world to change with their might.
But a great war erupted, bringing the brothers divide
And the whole of Unova fell to ruin.
With the land lying in waste, the two dragons fought on
Guided by the brothers' brawn
While Unova pleaded for white flags to be drawn
But on the dragons fought, until they were gone
And retreated into the Light and Dark stones.
The heroes vanquished, Unova was left without aid
Towns to rebuild, with debts to be paid
But what better for their pride to be laid?
Though lives were taken, memories fade
Of the ambitions of two foolish rulers.
But mark my words, the legend lives on
Destined to continue some other dawn
Two new heroes will lay each pawn
The dragons again will rise, and choose to serve right or wrong
As the battle for the future of Unova begins afresh.
Now learn from this lesson, aye, don't be a fool
A coward to fight but proud to rule

A bird locked in a secret cage,
Broken wings, no escape.
Fingers are intertwined,
A stranger’s face is looking into mine.
Break the lock, destroy the delusion
Shatter these images, this painful illusion.
Look beyond the smoke and mirrors
Look for me behind the tears.
Piece together, all the broken things
Patch up my broken wings.
Two hearts are intertwined,
A familiar face looks into mine.
A bird, free from the cage,
I have found my escape.

On this glacial mountaintop.
The summit watches you, and it
Laughs at your marked cowardice.
It is telling you to turn away,
For the God that rests atop this crest
Holds a crown of blizzards,
The blood of dragons on his collar.

He taunts you with his voice, daring you
To reach the top and touch him.
The exit is a solace to the scorching,
But you are not alone.
Upon this mountaintop, you have
