Feel like I dodged a bulletBack in July, I went in for my usual thyroid check-up (still every 6 weeks) and my doctor noted that my thyroid is enlarged. After the wedding, I was able to get put on my husband's health insurance so I got my ultrasound finally a few weeks ago. The results were that they found a nodule in my left lobe. The nodule is classified as suspicious. Meaning suspicious for carcinoma. The nodule is solid and has blood flow to it, so my doctors were very concerned that it was cancer. So, I was rushed to get a FNA biopsy.
