Something was tapping your forehead. Frowning you waved a hand, trying to brush it away. It stopped for a moment, then continued.
"Come on lass. I'm not lettin' ya' sleep yer birthday away."
A familiar voice rumbled. You blinked sleepily at the man next to you. His red hair was tousled, sticking up all over the place. Faint stubble covered his jaw.
"So what do ye' want for yer birthday?" He grinned, wiggling his eyebrows suggestively at you.
"That's what you would want. Besides Peter is in the next room." You pointed out.
He rolled his eyes, "Ah should get Arthur ta' babysit him tonight."
You frowned, shaking your head.
"Nope. I want to spend my Birthday with my son and Husband." You paused, reaching out to twirl a fiery lock of his hair around your finger.
"And I want a carrot cake."
He arched an eyebrow, "Ye' do realize yer talkin' to a man whose brother sets fire to cereal."
You nodded, grinning.

"Can I get this mummy?!" Your six year old son held up the package of sweets excitedly.
You held back a tired sigh. "Of course honey."
Colin squealed with delight, tossing the package into your shopping cart. You allowed your self a small smile.
He alternating between sitting in the cart and walking next to you during the shopping trip. After wards, you walked home. One hand holding a grocery bag, the other clasped around your son's small hand.
"Hmm?" You glanced down at him. Colin's bright red hair shone in the afternoon light.
"Why do you look sad?"
You blinked, unconsciously reaching up with a hand and touched your cheek.
"I'm not sad....Just tired."

"Jesus Luddy. It's not like it's your porn closet. It's just your kitchen." You huffed, rolling your eyes.
His face flushed red. "I don't have a....... FINE." He moved so you could walk past him. You smirked, waltzing into his kitchen.
You had come to Ludwig's mainly because he had the best equipped kitchen you had ever seen. And you liked to have everything at your finger tips when baking a cake.
Who was the cake for?
You of course. It was your birthday.
"Oh, um Happy Birzday ______." Ludwig held out a tiny package. "Feliciano und I got zis for you."

You stared at the strawberry cake in front of you and sighed. The candles flickered, waiting to be blown out. If you didn't blow them out soon, wax was going to drip onto the strawberry icing.
What was the point of celebrating this day anyway? Woo. One year older. You scowled at the pessimistic thoughts, and turned your attention back to the cake.
What to wish for? In fact, did you really need to wish for something before blowing out the candles?
You tapped a finger against the table top, glaring at the candles.
You decided to make the silliest and most improbable wish.
"I wish, that Romano from Hetalia, was real......or something." You frowned, not really sure how to frame the request.
Shrugging, you leaned forward and blew out the candles.
Nothing happened. Not that you were expecting something to happen.
A part of you hated spending another birthday alone.

Thinking quickly, you called up the only country you knew would have the proper information about such a thing. Scotland.
Luckily, the phone lines weren't dead yet, so as the line on the other end began to ring, you sighed with relief. This paper was due monday, and you'd been so busy having fun with other countries and your friends, you totally forgot. So now it was saturday night, and you were expected to attend a party at America's tomorrow so you didn't want to be stuck at home.

Today was your birthday, it was supposed to be one of the happiest days of your life, kinda. But today, you were feeling more worried than, happy.
Your boyfriend was acting strange. You glanced at Alfred out of the corner of your eye and frowned. He was fidgeting again, his clear blue eyes darting around.
"What's wrong Alfie?" Normal he laughed when he heard the nickname you had given him, not today. Instead, he jumped like someone had given him an electric shock.
"Um....stomach ache or something." He looked away from you, shoving his hands in his pockets and slouching further into the couch cushions.
"D'awwww. What did you eat today?" Resting your head on his shoulder, you patted his abdomen lightly. He flinched slightly, then gave you a shaky smile.

Okay guys a brief explanation for why kitty Scot is such a weird cat. It's mainly because, I think that if Scotland was a cat, he'd be a hyperactive little shit. xD That's all.
Making decisions had always been a slight problem for you and today was no exception. You stared at the throng of milling cats. You could only pick one, but they were all so cute and you wanted to take them all with you. But you couldn't.
Sighing, you pursed your lips. Maybe you should come back tomorrow after you had researched the different types of cats.
Turning to Elizabeta, you smiled apologetically. "I don't know if I'm really ready to adopt a cat yet."
She nodded, grabbing a flyer off the near by wall. It explained the purpose of the shelter and the hours. You thanked her smiled, taking the flyer. When you left, you felt a small tinge of guilt for not buying a cat.

ScotlandxReader - Bed SheetIn the midst of a bright winter's morning a young woman stood by her bedroom window, looking at the snowy landscape as if the sight was foreign to her. The wind had a particular bite to it that morning. So chilly was the air that it seeped through her nightdress and diffused into her skin, causing her breathing to deepen from the sudden shock to her body. She shivered a little and ran her hands along her arms in an attempt to warm herself up, but alas it was to no avail. Still though, the morning was particularly spectacular to behold, and she did not wish to go back to bed just yet. The highlands were beautiful this time of year. The sky was so blue and the land was awash in beautiful whites, even a painter would have been hard pressed to improve upon the view.ScotlandxReader - Bed Sheet1 year ago in Romance More Like This

The moment the accursed gloves went on, the lid on his anger blew off. They would punch through walls, knock out teeth, rattle brains, and grab bottle after bottle of scotch until he was completely spent and sprawled on the living room floor, groaning with a headache and a black eye or cuts all along his face or arms.
When he put the gloves on he was a different person, matching his dark auburn hair in fiery personality and a thick accent that spat out insults as the gloves mercilessly pounded into someone who had slipped a petty insult to the tipsy man with a fuse as short as a grace note. The only person he cared about was himself during those times, shutting off the rest of the world to instead spend time with a nice bottle of scotch and not-so innocent arm wrestling.
Then there were those rare times when the gloves were off, revealing tough and calloused hands with long fingers ready to wrap around someone’s neck, but they wouldn’t dare. He&

Your father… YOUR father…oh that man was definitely a dad alright. And you were definitely your dad's little angel; his princess, baby, et cetera. That man was Alistair Kirkland and if anything were certain, if any boy laid a finger on you, that finger would be missing in a heartbeat. Your father, in other words, was the most stuck up, protective, condescending man on the planet, but…he was your father.
Your palms were sweaty, knees weak, and your nerves were in overdrive as you entered your house. It wasn't that you were scared of your father, no, it was the fact that you were scared for the boy that was to pick you up later. You hadn't mentioned your overprotective father to the poor soul because—well…isn't it obvious?
You walked through the hallway that led to the kitchen and then a sound you didn't want to hear had rung in the air.
