Innocent KissWhen I was young, but not too young to feelInnocent Kiss7 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
I met a man, a boy, and felt a strange appeal
We talked, and joked, a day-to-day routine
Some laughs, some fun, and all things in between.
Time passed and soon, our time was drawing nigh
For us to spread our wings, to grow up and to fly
And he'd be gone; religion drew him far
From our home, my hopes, from my favored star.
Butterflies kissed my guts each time that he drew near
As the days mounted, so too would grow my fear
That'd I'd do something stupid, that I would act
Instead of think, unable to take it back.
The want consumed me, pulling from within
'Twas the first time I felt it, and only near him.
I wanted to kiss him, stand up on my toes
Press my lips to his. Breathing nose-to-nose.
I never did. I respected him too much.
At last came his departure day, and as such
There he was, at my door, more than I could hope
And I just stood there gaping; barely could I cope.
He smiled, shrugged in that sheepish way he h
Canada's BirthdayA man moaned in his bed and slowly removed the sheets from over his blond hair, his curl bouncing out. He opened his blues eyes and moaned again.Canada's Birthday3 years ago in General Fiction More Like This
‘Today is my day but I doubt anyone remembered’
This man is Canada and today is his birthday.
Canada got out of bed showered and dressed. He walked down the stairs and into the kitchen. He is about to prepare breakfast when he noticed a piece of paper on his dining table. He walked over to it and picked it up.
~Come to Parliament Hill when you wake up and don’t eat breakfast. ~
He flipped it over. There is no name. Confused he decided to follow the instructions. Canada looked around his house and found his pet polar pear Kuma sitting on the couch. He picked him up, grabbed hi car keys and glanced at the clock.
‘Its pretty late, I must have slept in’
He darted out the door and leapt into his car. He started it and began driving. The streets of Canada are packed but he somehow managed to get though the traffic

I sniffed the air and perked my head up. Pancakes! I thought. Canada, my roommate of sorts, made pancakes a lot. Ever since I moved in here, and probably before, he'd make chocolate-chip pancakes every morning for breakfast. He made other kinds too, but he knew I liked the chocolate-chip ones best, so he made sure to always make them. I moved in here after the roof collapsed in my house, and my ex-boyfriend-and Matthew's brother-America, had dumped me for my best friend and wouldn't let me stay here. To be perfectly honest, I'd fallen for the

How to make Muffin-Tin PiesHow to make Muffin-Tin Pies3 years ago in Reviews & Guides More Like This
This is a really fun recipe I use for the Holidays and parties! ^-^
The steps listed below will make approximately one/one-and-a-half batches of twelve mini mixed-berry pies. Just use a regular muffin tin, and you can use paper muffin cups if you like, but if you don't I recommend spraying the ENTIRE muffin tin (not just the cups) before putting in the dough to help them come out easier.
The Oven will need to be pre-heated to 350 degrees before the pies can go in the oven.
2 1/2 cups flour
1/4 cup sugar
2 teaspoons of salt
1/2 cup shortening (I generally use Crisco)
3/4 cup butter (chilled)
6 Tablespoons of ice water
Making the dough:
1.) Cut up butter into medium-sized cubes and return it to the refrigerator for later use.
2.) Cut up the shortening and drop in chunks into a bowl of ice water.
3.) In a separate bowl (large), combine flour, sugar and salt and then mix well.
3.) After they are chilled, remove the shortening from ice water, the but

The police officer asked, "Then what do you wish to do with the child, seeing she isn't yours?"

"Yeah, it's good" I nodded along.
He clicked on his iPod and we listen to punk rock all the way to a cute little pub I've never been to before.

I told you also that the next lesson (This lesson) will be about the interrogative form but I changed my mind because it's too easy All what you have to do is to add the particle "ka" at the end of the sentence Like this:
"Anata wa Hiroto desu" . "You're Hiroto"
"Anata wa Hiroto desu ka?" .. "Are you Hiroto?"
So I decided to teach you something more useful & I guess you will like it!! How to say "I like something" & "I don't like something"!!
