Gravity of Devils [three] Jack FrostandPitch Black
Gravity of Devils [three]
Jack leaves Pitch for many months after that night, living alone in the cold Arctic where the snow falls endlessly and the glaciers reflects what little sunlight there is like mirrors planted deep within the crust of the Earth. He doesn’t mind not seeing children on a daily basis—in fact, right now he prefers it that way—but when he’s back in his element, he feels a little more at home. At least it’s not the desert, Jack thinks spiritedly.
It was on this day that Jack let his thoughts wonder to perhaps the darkest parts of his mind—back to the night he left the Boogeyman on a cold, stormy mountain. The gravity of Pitch was intoxicating, and Jack couldn’t get enough of the elder spirit even if he tried. Jack didn’t know if it was love or lust that had kept Pitch tied to the his side for so long, but he hoped that it was the former—or at least, he knew it was the latter, he just hop

Gravity of Devils [two]
A few months passed, maybe even an entire year before they met again. Jack needed his space, and the Boogeyman gave it to him—after all, he had made children believe in the Boogeyman again, and Pitch felt he owed the boy that much at least.
Pitch never properly thanked him either. He could remember the day perfectly! How Jack had appeared before the children who could see him and told them stories of the hideous Boogeyman who haunted their dreams and closets and hid under their beds till morning.
Those children believed in the Boogeyman then, and their fears fueled the Boogeyman’s return to power temporarily, giving him enough juice to send out at least a few Nightmares to other children—and his power crept back into the darkness, into his very blood and through his veins—and his reign became supreme once more.
And even now, as Pitch stared up at the flurry of ice and the volley of snow balls being pitched to and fro wh

“Has anyone seen Jack lately?” Bunnymund asked from behind his hand of cards. He smirked up at his opponent, who sneered back deviously. The Easter Bunny throws down a royal flush, a cocky smile puffing up his bunny cheeks. Sandy gapes at the hand and slammed his head against the table in defeat. He throws his cards in the air and saunters off to pout by himself.
Bunnymund sputtered. “Awh come on, Sandy! Don’t be such a spoil-sport!” The Pooka calls after Sanderson, laughing despite his friend’s poor attitude.
Sandy waves his hand behind him, disregarding the rabbit’s taunts. He always sucked at poker anyways. Bunnymund clicks his tongue at the spirit, turning his attention to North and Tooth who were having an animated, jolly conversation.
No one answered his question, so he repeated it again; “Has anyone see Jack lately?”
North turns his attention to the six foot creature and thinks for a m

The darkness crawled across them like a blanket; their bare bodies warm, sweating, hard and breathless. The air was thick and musky, heavy with heat and desire.
Though through the darkness, ice crept steadily outward from the source, extending and consuming everything in its path in a thick, pure layer of lush, beautiful snow.
A disembodies moan echoed from somewhere amidst the shroud of darkness, filling the Nightmare Kingdom with cries of lusty aspirations. Slick, grey skin moved easily over alabaster flesh; lovely red and purple marks marred both men’s bodies—some the result of fingertips clutching too hard or too deep, others from teeth just barely managing not to break skin. Lips were tugged, sucked and bitten red until nothing but gasps of need and want could be heard.
Pitch remained between Jack’s slender thighs, hips rocking against bare, boney protrusions rhythmically—pleasantly. Hissing and moaning bec

"It must be your fear they smell."
Pitch took off, skidding and sliding across slippery ice and down muddy banks to get away from the Nightmares. He was frightened, but it was worth it, if only to see Frost once more. He pushed the thought away as the Nightmares caught up to him, dragging him down, down, down. His last happy thought, he didn’t want them to take it from him, so maybe if he cast it away now, he could call upon it if he really needed it—if he really needed to feel Jack once more.
Jack watched longingly, a piece of his heart falling away into the darkness that Pitch was plunged into, followed closely by the creatures of haunted dreams. He knew Pitch would have to overcome his own fear before he would be seen again. For now, children’s dreams were safe and far from the reaches of the Boogeyman.
The Guardian’s cheered happily—their mission had been a success, they had gotten rid of Pitch Black, for now

His lips were fire against Jack’s icy nape—a groan escaped the boy’s freed lips, giving Pitch enough fire to continue back up to the Winter’s jaw. His hands felt like molten lava against Jack’s bare stomach, leaving red, hot trails of desire whatever and wherever they felt like conquering.
Jack groaned softly as Pitch’s tongue slid back against his own—Jack didn’t fight; he didn’t feel the need to. Pitch grinned against Jack’s lips, his hands clutching at the fabric of Jack’s tattered sweatshirt as he once more claimed the Winter’s lips with bruising force. Pitch’s grey skinned arms reached around Jack’s waist and clutched him to his chest tightly.
Jack wrapped his arms around Pitch’s neck, panting softly as he planted one, two, three softer kisses on the older man’s lips before pulling away ever so slowly. Pitch almost felt rejected before realizing th

Jack stared out at the barren wasteland of snow and ice and winter’s coldness. His heart ached and felt so much more numbness than it had despite the snow. He thought of the friends he could have had, the time they could have shared together; him, Tooth, North, Bunnymund; the Yeti's, the Elves, even if he'd chosen differently, Pitch, perhaps.
He laughed inwardly at the thought. Chosen differently? The grey skinned man smiling down at him from his dungeon of darkness, full of shadows and Nightmares, where Jack would undoubtedly stay, since the children would fear him, and the Guardian would hate him. He thought of the way the elegant man moved, his shadow carrying him across rooms and worlds like the wind carried Jack. He thought of Pitch’s eyes, the golden-grey of haunted hatred.
Jack frowned. He wondered what it would have been like to be feared. The children would hate him, he thought again. Of course they would. His frown deepe

"Jack? Jack? Wake up Jack." Jack's white eyes opened with a slight surprise. He quickly jumped up from his place on the bed, and wrapped his arms around Pitch's neck. The Boogeyman unprepared for the boy's hug immediately lost his balance and fell off the bed. Seeing Jack still clung to him, Pitch laughed. "I can see you're affectionate."
"Yeah." The Nightmare King stood up, but the frost elf refused to let go. Not minding Jack's sentiment, he simply held the guardian as he headed out of the lair. The two headed out into the cold night, where a small army of nightmares awaited for them.
Although it pained him to do so, Pitch removed the boy from his person and placed him upon a nightmare. The Boogeyman placed himself behind jack, just in case worse came to worse, he'd easily be able to grab the frost elf's neck and return him to an obedient state. "Jack be prepared to hold on."
"Okay." The nightmares took to the sky and they headed towards the nearest neighbo

"Alright. I'm in."
Here they were. The Nightmare King, and the Winter. Since the battle for the lights of the children, Pitch has kept a keen eye on Jack. He was a neutral party, and not to mention apparently extremely strong. However, it came as little surprise since dark and cold were easily put together, yes? He even made mention to that kind of power when they created the black-sand glacier mere moments ago.
But when Pitch offered him a spot as a partner, he never expected the other to agree. Jack let his offensive stance drop ever so slowly, and Pitch had his arms up in a gesture, but were now frozen as he stared wide-eyed at the boy. This went on for so long, that Jack pulled his hood up over his head and looked away.
"Really?" Pitch blurted out again, mainly to himself than to the other.
"Yeah, because, you know.." he shook his stick. "..your right. They'll never trust me, and children will never believe in me. Why should I take a chance with their judgement when yo

"When we do this we have to act fast. Jack is always watching the globe for lights."
They were all in the Warren at the moment preparing for Easter. Even Pitch was painting a few, although they were a little dark in color to actually send out. Bunny hopped by and inspected them, shaking his head. Honestly, he was back to his old self. He was larger than life again, and Pitch assumed it just had to do with his own self confidence being restored.
"I've got some faith I can put up a fight, mate." Bunny said from his spot where he was painting eggs.
Pitch looked off away from where the rest of the Guardians were doing their own thing to prepare for easter. He had a feeling of dread in his stomach. It really ircked him to be helping those he fought not too long ago, but the balance was tipped. As much as he hates to admit it, fear did mostly belong in the shadows. Not taking over the world.
Jack had gone too far, actually physically hurting children. Technically, he was the only one whose s

Pitch walked over to his nightmares, readying them for the takeover he had so longed for. "Jack," the Nightmare King called. Jack Frost flew over to Pitch, a smile on his face. The Boogeyman grabbed the boy's chin and kissed him. "Jack, would you do me a favor?" Pitch said gesturing to the nightmares. Jack flew to the ground and covered the nightmares in a light layer of frost. The Nightmare King laughed viciously. "Excellent."
The two headed for the town of Burgess, Pitch in desperate need to first take down the children that defeated him before. Once they arrived, the pair stood on a sand cloud high above the city. The black sand and frost went out in all directions, turning all the children's dreams to nightmares. Jack smiled up at Pitch, glad to see the Boogeyman was so pleased with how everything was going.
"Jack," Pitch began, "I need you to fly towards the other side of town. There isn't enough ice on the nightmares." Jack nodded his head and flew in t

Jack struggled to break out, but when one is tossed in a sac there is often much confusion, not to mention the fact he couldn't see anything. Suddenly he hit the ground and before he could even think of escaping, the yetis' grabbed him and tied him to a tree in the warren.
"LET ME GO!! LET ME GO!" Jack screamed. A thick layer of ice traveled up the tree and onto the ropes, but was of no help in freeing the boy. The frost elf's breathing became heavier as he glared angrily at the ground.
"What did Pitch do to him?" Tooth asked, horrified by Jack's obvious hatred for them.
"Some sort of spell," Bunnymund stated stepping closer. He grabbed the guardian's chin, lifting up his head, despite Jack's cold stare. "There's strange markings all over his neck." Without warning Bunny's paw was frozen over. "Cranky!" He said jumping back. A sly smirk appeared on Jack's face. "Oh just wait 'till I get my hands on Pitch, I'll-"
"DON'T TOUCH HIM," the boy shouted.

Walking towards the bed Pitch pried the boy away and placed him upon it. The Nightmare King sat down behind Jack, and tilted the guardian's head to the side. He pulled down the collar of Jack's sweatshirt and repeatedly kissed the frost elf's neck. A slight blush appeared on Jack's face, and a small gasp slipped out of his mouth.
"You're surprised Jack?" The boogeyman laughed slightly. "You're more innocent then I thought." Pitch reached his hand under Jack's shirt, and began caressing his chest, while still kissing the boy's neck. A slight moan escaped the boy's mouth. Pitch then rubbed Jack's thigh, causing the snow spirit to cringe. Despite Jack's age, he really was a kid at heart, and very unaccustomed to these sorts of sensations, so Pitch stopped, for he didn't want to overwhelm the frost elf.
The Nightmare King placed the boy on his lap, and held him like a small child. It was obvious that in their relationship Pitch was overprotective. It stayed that

Out of the blue, the scene within the pine tree forest shows the rage of the 6 foot Easter Bunny flinging and tossing his boomerangs towards his only target the weak Nightmare King, Pitch Black.
"What were you doing at the Warren?!" asked Bunny furiously.
"I wasn't doing anything… I swear" Pitch replied as he struggled to stand back up, yet Bunny gave no mercy and continued countering Pitch till he is bruised violently.
From another distance, Jack Frost the guardian of Fun was nevertheless enjoying himself with the snowy atmosphere, creating blizzards and beautiful flakes. Jack laughed all the way until he heard two familiar voices from a long distant.

Jack found his eyes opening slowly; he hadn't realized it but the boy had fallen asleep in Pitch's arms. The Nightmare King smiled, as Jack rubbed his eyes. "You dozed off."
"I guess so. Sorry." Jack sat up and he suddenly realized there was strange light coming from outside Pitch's lair. They were the Northern Lights. "Pitch how long have those lights been out there?"
The boogeyman shrugged his shoulders. "About fifteen minutes."
"Shit," Jack shouted as he jumped out of bed and grabbed his staff. "Why didn't you tell me?! It'll take me another five minutes to get there!" The frost elf went to leave, when he suddenly felt his hood grabbed, and was lifted off the ground so that he and Pitch met eye to eye. "Put me down! I gotta go!"

Back at, well, at the hole if you'd like to call it, Pitch had been trailing behind Jack since they visited the old workshop. Before he destroyed it, that is. Before North had shown himself, Jack seemed to be his old self again, but as soon as the old man opened his mouth Jack seemed to drop into the danger zone and might as well brought that mountain on snow on top of Santa himself.
"Pitch." Jack stopped, hood on his head, looking over his shoulder slightly.
"Yes?" Pitch drawled, hoping for some sort of change in Jack's attitude.
"Stop sulking behind me. It's annoying."
And that was it. Pitch felt like a girl for getting worked up like this, but everything was all wrong! HE was supposed to be the bad guy! Not Jack.. Sure, it would have been fun if Jack had kept who he was in tact but frankly..

A loud bell rang in the distance causing Jack to stand up. "It's two fifty already?! I gotta go!" The boy quickly hugged Pitch then flew off. He stopped suddenly and quickly flew back. Still floating, Jack kissed the Nightmare King. "Don't worry about me! I'm fine!" The guardian took off once more.
"I was not worried!" The Boogeyman yelled.
"Yes you were!" Jack yelled back, flying out of view.
"I was not!" Pitch cried, although the frost elf didn't hear him. "Dammit Frost!" Muttering to himself, Pitch turned into a shadow and disappeared.
Jack flew to the elementary school in Burgess just as kids were starting to get out. Jamie Bennett was just going down the steps when something hit him in the back of the head. Jack's eyes opened and he looked around to see he was in a golden hallway. "What?" The boy asked confused. He grabbed his staff and started walking down the long hall. "Hello?! Anybody here?"
The Guardian turned a corner and stopped dead in his tracks, for there was a familiar man standing guard before a cell filled with strange creatures. "P-pitch?"
It was Pitch, but at the same time it wasn't; he was human. "Pitch? Pitch what's going on?" Jack went out to touch the man's arm, but his hand went through it. The frost elf jumped back, unsure of what was going on.
Pitch let out a sigh and grabbed a gold chain that hung around his neck. He pulled it out from underneath his cloak to reveal a locket. "What's that?" Jack asked, but Pitch couldn't hear him. The General opened it up and in there was a picture of a young girl. The man caressed the picture

"This, is what I do."
Pitch held his arms out wide, indicating the town in front of them. He avoided the particular town Jack was fond of, and instead went to some other close-by neighborhood. Looking closely, Nightmares jumped in and out of windows. By closer inspection one could tell that the Nightmares were not only just in the shapes of stallions, but other horrific creatures as well. Ones with distorted faces and crooked bodies. Truly horrific.
"You see, Jack, fear is necessary for children to grow into mature adults. Without fear, children are all cutesies and fairies and bunnies.."
He paused for a second, balling his fists. Jack pretended to not notice and stared out at the nightmares.
"Fear is real and cannot be ignored. That's whats wrong with children today. Too sheltered by the Guardians and their parents. They need to be prepared for what life is really like, right?"

Thinking quick, Pitch grabbed Jack's staff. "Not without your staff."
"HEY! Give it back!" The guardian jumped to try and grab it back, but Pitch held it above his head, laughing all the while. "Pitch gimme it!" Jack hopped onto Pitch's back in hopes of reaching it, but the boogeyman held it out forward.

Despite what Pitch said, Jack ran as fast his feet would take him. It seemed as if he would escape, but without warning his path became a dead end. Frustrated Jack quickly turned around and once more started to run.
"Jack? Oh jack?" Pitch called. "Please stop running, it will get you nowhere." All at once the stairs Jack was running down disappeared, and he found himself in the middle of the lair, with no place to hide. "Hello Jack," a sly voice came from behind. The guardian turned around and before he could do anything, Pitch pushed him up against a wall, a gray hand wrapped around his throat.
"Let-Go!" Jack yelled.
"Oh," Pitch cooed, looking at the boy lovingly, "but if I do than you'll run away. And what would be the fun in that?" The boy latched his hands onto Pitch's wrists and covered them in as much ice as possible, without his staff. The boogeyman let out a cry and dropped Jack. Although he hit the stone hard, the guardian got up and sprinted away.

On that calm night the sky was almost cloudless. The snow fell slowly, covering the forest floor that surrounded a small town, making the landscape even more gloomy and cold. The whitish flakes landed delicately on the shoulders of a man dressed in black, blending in with the dark hair, merging with the obscure suits in a way that almost passed through the fabric to crust in the gray-skin, but the man did not move, standing with his arms crossed behind himself, staring at the moon.
It was like a forgotten statue. Abandoned for years by humanity. Hidden among the forest secrets waiting for the day that he could move again.

Pitch woke up to see Jack still asleep in his arms. With a smile, Pitch caressed the boy's cheek and his blue eyes opened slowly. Jack frowned at the Nightmare King. "Too early. Don't wanna get up yet," he said while pulling the covers over his head.
Pitch rolled his eyes and pulled the covers off Jack, who groaned and crouched into a ball. "Stop being so dramatic, you slept great." The guardian huffed, wrapped his arms around Pitch, and hid his face in the man's robe. The boogeyman smiled and ran his fingers through Jack's hair. After a few minutes Jack showed his face, and his eyes were now bright and wide.
"You know what I just realized?" The frost elf asked.
"We didn't go out in costumes." Pitch found himself laughing at both Jack's innocence and a costume he thought would be fitting for the snow spirit. "What? What's so funny?"
"Oh, nothing." Pitch replied, laughing even more so at Jack's irritated expression.

Jamie woke up with slight surprise. He sat up, wondering what had happened last night. Originally Jamie had a good dream, which turned into a nightmare, then much later back to a dream. The child got out of bed and walked to the window, where out of the corner of his eyes he saw black sand. "What?"
Jamie now very much confused, opened the window, and there on the windowsill was a small pile of black sand. "Uh oh." Thinking quick he grabbed an old mitten and scooped the sand into it.
