Oh it's finally here! Big flash project '07!
Introducing bitbit the virtual babie creatch! Love himmm
Here are some words:
-Every image you see is drawn pixel-by-pixel by me. All scripted by me too.
-The long load is because of the music, I think. sorry!
-If you need instructions, click on the snut button.
-Babie creatch #027 [link]
-The music is by Lullatone, and all the sounds are from flashkit.com
-Don't forget the grow button.. it's very important
Make sure to click everything! everywhere! there are different scenes for babie bitbit and bitbit bear, and a lot of art & care went into each and every scene.
And don't give me no "there can't be stars inside a house." I don't play that.
Except do tell me if you find an important glitch and I'll fix it
+ HAVE FUN
also this is 2-3 months of work right here LOL BYE
Note: It was originally posted on Youtube ([link]) as a gift for a friend before.
Since the original was using a copyrighted music, I commissioned Daniel James (from HybridTwo) a track for this so I can post it here in DA as a film.
In this newer version, I decided to add/improve a few things. They're not so noticeable, but I feel much more contented with them. There are those that are left unedited, but I feel like it's best to leave it that way.
Artist Comment: Thank you everyone for liking it! Especially the viewers in Youtube for giving it a million views; People here in DA for giving my pageviews a boost; (And making fanarts too!) And people in Newground for supporting me to remove stolen posts. Thank you very much!
I also want to thank `InpuUpUaut for approaching and inviting me to post this video here in DA.
And lastly, of course, a friend back then for giving me the inspiration and push to finish my very first complete animation.
Update: (12/18/2009) Thank you again, `InpuUpUaut, for having this animation in DD! And to those who suggested this to be in DD. Thank you all!
My first full Flash game! Making this was a real pain, but I learned a lot of Flash in the process and it was fun when actually things started to work properly
So I hope you have fun playing it ^^ ( Do it! >:0 )
The instructions are in the game, so there's not much else to say. Some basic hints: - Each type of block is somehow different, figure out how they work! - There are different ways to complete the game, so try different things if you get stuck. -There's a reset-button on the lower left.. You'll need it
This was completed in about half a semester as my final project for Animation 1 at Rennsellaer Polytechnic Institute.
It's my first serious attempt at doing anything complex in Maya.
The goal of the project was to emphasize gesture and animation of humanesque forms. Any critique on quality of animation or things that could be added would be appreciated.
(PS: I do realize it's too dark. For some reason uploading on Deviantart kills the video quality and darkens it slightly, so that the secondary prenumbra on the spotlights disappears. It's unfortunate, but I can't find a way to fix it as of yet.)
All credit for the music goes to Joel Nielsen, who was awesome enough to let me use some of his uploaded demo-tracks as background. I think it adds a lot to the piece.
If you have issues with Flash and cannot read the comic by clicking the swallow buttons, try one of the following solutions:
1. Click on the green arrow download button on the right side of the dA page, 2. Or change to a different browser (like Firefox), 3. Or update your Flash player at get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ 4. Or right click with you mouse, then select “ play ”, but you might have to do this with every page.
Chapter 1 Bonus
Here’s the first chapter of Knite! I hope you all enjoy! There’ll be about 7 or 8 more chapters to go so I’ll be super busy as usual.
I’ll post a few pages of the scriptless jpeg version onto dA everyday until the next chapter comes out. I was able to finish Ch1 in roughly a month over winter break but I'll need to slow down now that I’m back at college and I have to work on commissions to pay for college XD
BIG THANKS to my Art Major friend, for proof reading the script and critiquing my drawings. Also BIG THANKS to my best friend, Leah, who helped me with the story plot, and my roommate, , for fixing my typos XD. Last but not least, BIG THANKS to for her awesome Flash tutorials that taught me how to make this comic possible! I love you all!
Everything was drawn in Paint tool SAI, the textures were added in Photoshop, and the comic was put together in Macromedia Flash.
PS If you haven't already, you can also read my first one shot comic
