--- When I was young, I used to have recurring nightmares, but this was by far the worst. This blind, amorphous, twisted being with a skull and human torso, gliding along, seemingly attached to a seething, roiling ocean of mass and sinew would be in pursuit of me. It was blind, but it knew where you were and the moment it started hunting you, you knew it. You couldn't cease to be aware of its predatory presence and then, whenever you would finally pass out of exhaustion from flight, it would be there, chasing you again when you woke, exactly a mile from you every time.
--- My worst fear was that I'd never be able to overcome it.
--- Enjoy this contest entry, show your friends! Maybe I'll win or something. Also, enjoy that teddy bear, its name is Dan.
This was an illustration I did for a Blizzard contest earlier this year. I'm not real big on fanart so I tried to really make it my own and tone down the iconic Blizzard style and go for something more natural and cinematic.
Everytime I remember the fall season I think over all the garden tasks and how it gets more complicated than it should be. Sometimes I feel inside a cartoon because all the comic situations that happens while I'm trying to keep all clean, but for some reason it is impossible. And of course my neighbor doesn't miss a thing. (she is saying “happens everytime”)
Every thing is handmade. I used cold porcelain (a kind of air dry clay),cardboard, wire, plaster, foam, acetate, acrilic paint, permanent marker, polimer resin, varnish.
