Personal Pathfinder character
Pō Kinikini is a tengu ranger with a boa companion named Moemoe. She was hatched in a Tengu mountain village and spent her formative years studying under the huntress Pawa (pronounced pă-vă). Pawa taught her to craft weapon from organic materials, to creep quietly through the mountains and forest, and how to observe, stalk, hunt and kill quarry. Young Pō Kinikini loved nothing more than spending long hours on the hunt, crafting snares and tools, and weapons sparring with the other immature Tengu. As she neared adulthood, Pō Kinikini's parents believed she should aspire to more scholarly and arcane knowledge, and sent Pō Kinikini away from her village to study at Santal Fah library. Pō Kinikini was not well suited to book learning or the city and found focus hard to maintain in both the quiet, solemn library environment and the harsh town. Only the discovery of biology and anatomy texts prevented her from abandoning her studies entirely, and so she delved into those. After a year, Pō Kinikini still found herself homesick for the natural world. Armed with fresh knowledge, a proclivity for wanting to dissect everything she kills, and an understanding of the scientific method, she embarked on a quest to catalogue and study as many species as she could.
