Very fun commission for Gioven featuring his 'sona, Milo the mouse, summoning his sword in its true size. I had a great time painting Milo and his outfit, Gioven made a very cool design. :) Thank you again as always, Gioven!

Personal Pathfinder character

Pō Kinikini
is a tengu ranger with a boa companion named Moemoe.  She was hatched in a Tengu mountain village and spent her formative years studying under the huntress Pawa (pronounced pă-vă).  Pawa taught her to craft weapon from organic materials, to creep quietly through the mountains and forest, and how to observe, stalk, hunt and kill quarry.  Young Pō Kinikini loved nothing more than spending long hours on the hunt, crafting snares and tools, and weapons sparring with the other immature Tengu.  As she neared adulthood, Pō Kinikini's parents believed she should aspire to more scholarly and arcane knowledge, and sent Pō Kinikini away from her village to study at Santal Fah library.  Pō Kinikini was not well suited to book learning or the city and found focus hard to maintain in both the quiet, solemn library environment and the harsh town.  Only the discovery of biology and anatomy texts prevented her from abandoning her studies entirely, and so she delved into those.  After a year, Pō Kinikini still found herself homesick for the natural world.  Armed with fresh knowledge, a proclivity for wanting to dissect everything she kills, and an understanding of the scientific method, she embarked on a quest to catalogue and study as many species as she could.

Pō Kinikini is inquisitive and analytical.  She can spend hours examining a single specimen, but is equally likely to lose interest in an object after a cursory glance.  She is quick to judgment, but equally quick to reassess.  Pō Kinikini has little experience socializing outside her race, as she was rather reclusive during her years in the city, but she puts little stock in stereotypes and treats everyone she meets as a unique specimen.  Because her fighting skills are a little rusty after her year of study with little martial practice, she prefers to avoid groups of strange travelers and is adept at sneaking around them.  Though she does not go out of her way to seek conflict, Pō Kinikini is both a bit haughty and a poor diplomat, so she sometimes ends up escalating situations that may not have otherwise led to arms drawn.  In combat, Pō Kinikini exhibits a streak of viciousness, inflicting damage designed to hurt and beyond what is necessary to incapacitate her foe when she can.  She is often agitated and grumpy after a fight, expressing disappointment whenever a unique 'specimen' is damaged by her brutality.  Pō Kinikini collects and preserves bones, skins, scales, feathers, fur, teeth, etc from any unique animal she kills, including sentient enemies.  She does not discern a difference in morality between taking one or the other.
