Blood of the Reaper - Vampire MasqueradePrologue -The Letter-
That was the title in the front of each of the letters that I have been receiving from Malik for the past twelve years now. It's a letter that a vampire like me is best not to ignore being that it had come from one of the original elders, but considering the circumstance, it's better to take your chances with whomever Malik decides to sends after you, than to deal with Malik himself. I, by no means, have any issues with working for elders, and for the most part, I'm in good standings with the greater number of them, but it's the unfortunate fact that Malik is a Malkavian elder. Malkavians unpredictable nature has deemed them by other vampires as the lunatics of the underworld, and I now have the misfortune of having my services called upon by the leader of the lunatics.
I'd have to admit though that Malik was very creative in the various ways that he decided to convey his request. On average days he'd send me five to ten letters each conta
Drider TransformationLike all good things that come to an end, Dinin would find that the life he knew was over. Strapped down naked to a cold metal altar on his back in an X postion Dinin could see his sister Vera chanting over his head. He couldn't recognize the words, but he knew he would be in trouble. Her words grew closer till he could look up and see her eyes glowing looking down at him. Dinin though arrogant still found the will to plead to his sister one last time, but Vera paid but little attention and continued chanting. Her chants became louder and it was clear that she was drawing the powers of her goddess Lolth through her. With each passing moment Dinin could see Vera's body grow brighter as her clothes burned off her body exposing her nudity. Her dark grey skin was contrasted by all her snow white hair that was exposed to all parts of her body. Her body lit as though it were translucent.Drider Transformation4 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
Dinin only suspected that she would torture him for his insolence, but his fate was far worse than death
A Shocking Change - Galvantula-Taur TFPeter turned to look at the old abandoned building on the coast, the waves spilling up onto the stone steps leading up to the broken sliding glass doors that lead into the vine-covered structure. Nodding to his friend, he gestured over the rocks along the shore. "There it is! The abandoned tidal power plant we heard about. You ready to head on in?"A Shocking Change - Galvantula-Taur TF3 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
James returned his nod, grinning. "You have any idea where the Thunderstones are supposed to be?" Waiting a moment, he shook his head. "Ahh... It doesn't matter. Let's head on in!"
"I guess they'd have to be pretty deep inside. I wonder if we'll find anything else. We might find an Ampharos around here for all we know!" Peter grinned. "Good thing I stocked up on Ultra Balls just in case they were needed."
"Good thing you thought ahead." James smiled back to his friend. "Well we're wasting time standing around here, so let's get our butts in gear!"
The pair started quickly hiking through the tide, scrabbling up the rocks and the worn-away sta

You should get some variety in your life! It will change the way people look at you. Those were the exact words Pauls mother had told him that morning. Little did he realize how ironic they were.
Paul was an average boy, 17 years old with curly black hair and bland brown eyes. There was one thing that was odd about him though, he had a highly repetitive nature. Every day he took the same lunch to school, walked the same path there and back, talked to the same people, and read the same books. His mom told him he needed to express himself more, but he never did.
However, today he decided to change that. Recalling his mothers words, he figured that if he walked home a different way than usual, his mom would get off his back for awhile. So today, he decided to go home through the forbidden forest. The only reason kids called it that was apparently, the people who walked through it were never seen again. But th

She looked out across the forest and shivered. In front of her was a large, mossy rock; the same rock she had walked passed half an hour ago. She groaned and looked down at her feet as she tried not to worry. But she was lost, hungry and tired. And she was lost. The voices in her head kept telling her so.
She sighed and ran a hand across the rock, feeling its fuzzy green coat as she kicked at a rock on the ground. It skipped and skittered away from her, disappearing under some trees. Then she yelled about how unfair it was.
She could feel herself slipping; her grip on reality fading. She couldn't let it slide, because she knew what would happen when she did. She knew the others in her mind too well.
She sat down in the dry dirt under the rock, holding her head in her hands. She'd had to deal with them for ever. Yet, she was still afraid. She was always afraid of what would happen when they took over.

Alex sighed as he looked out the clear glass window into the outside world beyond his own home. A few clouds floated high in the sky and slowly moved about. A few birds flew from the trees and soared around in the air; chirping happily as they did so. Alex observed the birds as they flew about.
"I wish I could fly like that. He said to himself, continuing to stare out the window of his home.
It had been a while since Alex was able to do anything exciting. His parents were normally always busy with work, and he was an only child, so he had no younger or older siblings to play with. He had already played all of his video games various times, so that was out of the equation. There was virtually nothing to do.
Alex began to hear a quiet rumbling sound suddenly emit from somewhere. Alex stood up and went completely silent to see if he could hear the direct source of the noise. However, it couldn't be traced. He noticed that it began to slowly get louder. By now, Al

Youve heard it said, Mr. Skytrekker, that knowledge is power yes? That Unspeakably horrible man, who called himself a lover of science leaned in closer to Thomas. Well we desire that power. We will get that through knowledge. His voice held the tone one would use when they were explaining something to a little one. Were getting that knowledge, by testing out our latest mutagenic virus on you. Did your chauffeur not tell you?
Thomas raised his head to look the scientist in the eye, the anger almost radiating from his body. They knocked me out and kidnapped me. He said through gritted teeth.
Oh yes, thats become a rather unpleasant part of normal procedure. The scientist sighed.Thomas blinked his watering eyes away enough to

He had never heard the term before, gryphon, and had been curious about it. They talked about it in his mythology class. Cedric (it was an old family name. He was something like Cedric the ninth) was not very familiar with mythological creatures that weren't dragons, and a combination of a lion and a dragon had peaked his interest. He decided to Wiki it when he got home. Cedric had to make it through school first, luckily, he only had his favorite class left. Biology.
There was something about it that just blew his mind. In all other classes, math, chemistry, he had solid C's, but in Biology he excelled. He was in the AP class, had the highest grade in the class, and was always doing his own studies and experiments. There was something about the natural world that fascinated him. He took furious notes during the lecture, and took in every iota of information that came his away.

"Hey Ashley, come and look at this." Greg said motioning Ashley to the storefront window. Ashley and Greg are dating and this was one such date. Ashley had wanted to go to the mall so Greg took her there. Ashley is an average height about 5'5, slim, with long red hair, a dashing of freckles on her face, and had green eyes. Her boyfriend Greg was 5'10, short brown hair, and had green eyes like Ashley. They are a good couple, they spend a lot of time together and love each other.
When Ashley came over to the window of the store, which was called Crystal Visions she was immediately intrigued. The store window had many stones of various colors, crystal balls, dragon statues, and several other things crammed together in the limited space. It looked like an interesting store to say the least. "Let's check it out Greg," said Ashley as she started into the store, Greg following closely behind.
The store was like the window, crowded with a multitude of items,
Off the Beaten Track - Naga TFJust a few scrapes and bruises, nothing serious, I thought as I examined my injuries. I wasn't sure what had happened as it occurred too quickly for my brain to comprehend it. One moment I was riding my bike through the forest near my house, along a familiar dusty pathway that I always took to get to school, and before I knew it I rode straight into an overhanging tree branch that smacked me right in the face, causing me to lose my balance and go plummeting to the ground.Off the Beaten Track - Naga TF4 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
I was happy that I didn't break any bones or anything. This area, although it was near the town, was still hard to get to and because of that medical attention could have a hard time getting to me. I dusted myself off, accidentally wiping some blood from my scraped knee onto my fingers, and got to my feet.
My bike was lying flat on the ground next to a few shrubs. It didn't seem like it had sustained any damage at all. I breathed a sigh of relief. Paying for repairs would have caused a serious problem since my family
