Iridescent flickers of color
Float carelessly throughout the air
Resurfacing the wanders of the unknown
While exposing the passions within
The flames of the heathen blaze
Burst forth in sentimental dance
Exploding the tendencies of lacking thus
The infliction no longer dispersed
How I long of that fire
That flare of confession
Which leads and forgives and disappears
While leaving behind charred souls
My heart is made of coal
No longer of the nightly failings
But rather of the sky light sparks
That disappears behind rusted remarks
The spirits of the flourish
Tend to all my worthless cares
They bring up to the feelings of thus
The life circle...
Of the spirit blaze
Here I'm sane.I live on Earth, and her I'm sane. I was born on this Earth and sane I'll remain. Here I'm sane.1 year ago in Songs & Lyrics More Like This
When I'm gone I will not know I'm dead.Yet lucky am I to be sent to me bed.
For, if life did not end, we would not cherish, this time that we have before we shall parish.
I'm not afraid of death, for death is a given. I'm afraid of the harm to the world that we live in.
My mind is Amazing, I am me and just me.But without death it will never be free.
I'm glad that we end, for all things do. And this end is the reason for the beauty in you.
Swear on my wreckage to try your very best,to be kind to the people you know and regress. Because simple is harmless, and admirable to.But don't be afraid to try something new.
With all love my friend, With all of my hart.Because in your memory, we are not apart.

And take me away.
Somewhere far from here,
Any place will do.
I'm so sick of this.
The same damn stuff,
Over and over.
Like a nightmare on replay.
These burdens are heavy.
Weighing me down,
Breaking my back,
Killing me softly.
How much longer
Will my strength hold out?
I hurt so bad sometimes
But I can't escape.
Need someone to fix this,
Hold me together when I'm falling apart,
Tell me it's okay even when it's not.
Rob me blind so that I don't have to watch...
Someone save me,
Carry my load.
For I feel so weak.

We're all human,
And even if we weren't,
We're all still alive.
And even if we aren't,
we all still have love.
From every human to fish,
to plant and bacteria,
to every fire and gust of wind,
every star shining,
every day and night.
We all have something,
that we love.

And others do not know
That the darkness has entrapped me.
The waking world cannot hear my screams,
But in the world of dreams
They shake the ground.
I feel my feet pound
As I run for my life!
The monsters chase me with their scythes!
O how the fire from their eyes
Sore through the black sky!
The flames scorch my skin.
O why did I not repent for my sin!
They use their red scaly tails to balance.
O how I can feel the radiant stench of their malice!
My breath has become rapid.
My energy has been sapped.
However! I have become consumed with fear!
For they are near!
I turn around.
I have found
That they are no longer there
But are in the air!
They sprouted dark black wings,
And now they are in front of me!
I'm going to be caught.
All the running was for not.
O! If you could feel that agony!
You too will lose your sanity!
Here time feels like it goes on forever.
O how I hope you never
From this realm,
Where your mind becomes overwhelm
Faces in the CrowdI walked along the busy streets for a day,Faces in the Crowd1 year ago in Free Verse More Like This
I searched along the streets looking for a place to stay.
I saw a million faces that I cannot name,
tomorrow I will walk again and the results will be the same.
In the world of walking people I looked for a face,
but everyone looked like they were in a maze race.
No matter how long I walked along the streets today,
I couldn't find a single person who would stop and say "hey."
In this world we are too busy with our own little routine,
sometimes it seems like everyone else just cannot be seen.
So I walked around this city, lost without a way,
still searching for a home where I could stay.
This city of millions seems so cheerful and loud,
but to me, everyone was just another face in the crowd.
The Artisan KnightHere I am, the gallant knight,The Artisan Knight1 year ago in Free Verse More Like This
trapped in a room where I cannot fight.
Here I am silent and still,
gazing out the windowsill.
I paint the world outside my cell
dragons and demons fight as well
as the battles raging in my head
the harrowing feeling that I might be dead.
I let my brush sweep the skies,
I build a world full of whys.
Dizzily, I speckle stars
and give new life to planet Mars.
But footsteps break me from my page,
I pace inside the mental cage,
my mind is melting with my brush
its colours dulled, no longer lush.
I hear them calling out my name
but I must paint just one more frame,
dripping down across the sheet,
I let the colour stain my feet.
One with art and art has won,
I'm done, dear god, at last I'm done.
I cannot take the pain much more,
the voice who screams, my mind so sore.
So here I am, the gallant knight,
who has long since lost his final fight.
Here I am, my mind a flood,
painting pretty pictures with blood.

I am eager to answer yet so afraid
He has come for me
But I am not sure I am ready.
Overcoming my fear I open it slowly.
He stands there, a grim face that seems so sad
Walking in he sits.
I am so confused
Are we not supposed to leave?
He beckons me to his side
And slowly I lower myself beside him
He looks into my eyes
"Why? It was not your time"
Sorrowfully I remember my actions
We rise from the couch and go upstairs
We stand over my body lying lifelessly on the bathroom floor.
She is kneeling beside me crying.
I rush to her side and attempt to comfort her
But she cannot hear me.
Death walks to my side
"Do you see?"
I nod, and begin to cry.
Paramedics have now arrived
They whisk me away in the ambulance
Death and I follow.
She remains by my limp body as they try to bring me back.
Death holds my hand
I look up into his sad eyes.
We are now in a hospital room
My body lies on a gurney doctors and nurses scurry around
Putting needles in my body
I can fee

look deep inside your mind,
find it deep within,
the strongest thoughts,
get them aligned,
a line of poetry,
find them boring,
oh well it's good for me,
take a sip of the drink,
beside you on the desk,
push your mind to the brink,
put you're creative skills to the test,
let it infest the page,
scream out in a rage,
when none of what you've written,
makes sense any range,
in a bunch or,
in a line,
remember you can do this,
let's have some good stuff now,
rip into the page,
like a critique,
who's seen a swear word,
in a Shakespearean,
scribble down thoughts,
like you're a doctor,
whose terminal patient,
wants to be released,
outline the memories,
of enemies and bands you hate,
in NME's recent,
but decent releases,
practice your rhyme,
all the time,
until it works,
in a line,
what? i said in a line?,
a tool of the rules,
of the trade in this game,
Lost, Found, ForgottenWhen I was young,or am I still young?Lost, Found, Forgotten1 year ago in Songs & Lyrics More Like This
My mind has grown, far too old for me
My body rests, but I'm not asleep
All I seek, is what was stolen from me
Wake me, when the world is free
When everyone finally sees
What was lost, found, forgotten
By only me
Lose the body heat, Cold fingers touch the heart you see
Pain is the strongest feeling, In this world that everybody sees
Lost, found, forgotten
Forgotten, found, Lost.
HateHate2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
Vile cold word
Describes the most despised emotion
No one loves it
Everyone fears it
Its edges cut deep into tender hearts
Absorbed and relished by hollow hearts
There is no escape
It lurks in the darkest part of the mind
Waiting to strike at any moment
The moment where the mind fails
Nothing is left between Hate and the body
Hate mutilates all love and care
Leaves the flesh scarred and cold
There is no room for love
Hate consumes all
There is no escape.
Moonless NightWalking on deserted pathsMoonless Night2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
feeling tomorrow will never come
my fears released,
slowly take over my mind.
Watching my life pass, day by day
lost in empty wastelands.
Trying to escape from the shadows of nothing,
misery takes hold,
I fall to the ground
not able to cry out for help.
angels try helping me,
try pulling me back,
but I already lost the short battle of life
empty horizons are all I see now
and that is the only path I can trod now
far beyond the shining sun and the blue sky
I cut off my wings the day I died,
knowing I would never fly
in the radiant sun.
Yet when the moonless night comes
I will scream out to no one the feeling of being alone.
Walking on a deserted path of my pain.
The moonless night will come again,
walking on the desert path I will stay
until the angels come to me
and heal my wounds
replace my lost wings
and lift me into the Moonless night
into the stars where I wish to stay
but not until they save me
will I find a way off the deserted path.

Will have you asking for more
You'd better watch out
Creepy crawlies lurk about
They will make you shout!

Grass grows tall & high

Raindrops fall from the heavens to the skies
Children race with sailboats
Jump in puddles, smell and pick flowers
Playing jump rope, and other games
Reading and just R-E-L-A-X!!!

Hugs & kisses are given no matter
If you are good, bad, happy, sad
Or just for fun, as long as they
Came from loved ones

When you can share it with your sister
Brother, mom, dad, relatives, and pets!

Lingering for days
After you have left me
Rekindle my flame
With every kiss we share
Of our love
Intoxicating and deep
Invade my thoughts
Yet completely focused on you
Mull them over
And sate my longing for you
Awakening every nerve
To shudder at your touch
Fluctuating heart beats
With every smile
Or look you give me
High on love
Whilst euphoria abounds
Quickly numbing all pain
Demolishing every worry
Elating me to floating on the clouds
Still don't completely understand
How this came to be
But I don't care
Because you have yet
To allow my flame to die out
Allowing me to keep you warm
Whilst with your existence
Light my fire

Thin as paper
Everything laid out plain
Though I try so hard
To hide it
I plunge into the darkness
And the spotlight search begins
Chasing me with beams of light
Attempting to uncover the truth
Hidden in its depths
I dive into the ocean
Swimming as fast as I can
As they generate whirlpools
Catching me off guard
Draining the water
Running to the trees
Hiding once more
Until the flames rage hot and relentless
Demolishing another safe haven
Standing in the open
Amongst the ashes of ruin
Turning my eyes to stone
Preventing others from seeing within
Where all my secrets lurk
But not even that can save me
For upon looking down I find
I am transparent
They can see right through me
Everything laid out plain
Seeing my feelings
Looking down upon me
And I want to just fall
Into your waiting arms
Protected and safe
You take hold of all of me
Shoving others aside
For they matter not
As I transparently love on you

On appearance alone
Forever too quick
Things you don't understand
If you put yourself
In my shoes
Take a second to step back
Assess the situation
Feel what I'm feeling
The love that consumes
My every heart beat
As well as fills my bones
Within every part of me
He is the best thing
That has ever happened to me
Whether I'm too a guy
Love is love
But you can't possibly understand
Something you've never felt
So don't look down on us
Or tell us that you don't approve
Because I don't care
About your petty morals
And what you think is right
Shared between two people
One love is no different than any other
Since when is gender a deciding factor
For I believe
That love is decided with one's heart
And gender is separate
From the depths of one's heart
So forget about everything else
And view the hearts themselves
How different everything looks

Into the darkness
Hitting me in the face
So I lie completely still
Smiling into your eyes
Loving every minute of you

I have been graced
With your love and care
And I will waste no time
By ruining the moment

A cross is in between.
Yet he's everything but a saint,
He has a good side and a mean.
Dark hair falls in his face,
Dark eyes stare in a trance.
Muscular is his arms and chest,
Yet he's never had a chance.
He looks out the broken window,
As rain pours down outside.
Water drips down his hair,
He lives with secrets and lies.
An abandoned building is his home,
Wood floor and a broken bed.
He slams his fist against the glass,
It goes through and then turns red.
He's all alone in this cold world,
Red crimson drips from his hand.
To society he's a bother,
No one seems to understand.
He holds his hand with the other,
As he yells in angry pain.
Then he sinks down to the floor,
His life as been in vain.

Boxes lay around the space,
She's living with her parents no more.
She's glad to have finally gotten out,
She is 23 after all,
She needed a place to call her own,
And luckily it was close to the mall.
It is a small space,
But it's something she can afford.
It's in a quiet neighborhood,
And it comes with a cute landlord.
This place is what she was looking for,
It's where she wanted to be.
She starts to unpack the boxes,
She knows that she is finally free.
