SacrificeYou are goneSacrifice4 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
but I remain
alone and mourning
I would devour the earth
I would drink the seas dry
I would burn the sky
and boil all human tears to nothing
I would put out the stars
I would spit on the sun
and salt my wounded eyes
to touch your hand once more.
But I am a servant
a child of dust
with no power to touch the sky.
So I will touch my heart instead
and since you cannot come back to me,
I will go to you, my hope
touch my heart and still it,
and I will come to you.

why she didn't write
any more than
she said it was
to line a page
i asked her why
why she stopped painting
to splash color on page
i asked her
why she doesn't love me
like she used
to answer that question
RageI feel my heart wrench, eyes ablaze.Rage2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
I feel lost and empty as I stagger through the haze.
Scraping the raw bark with my sizzling touch,
Perhaps these hissing flames are becoming to much.
The fire licks the branches, killing everything in sight
this fire I created is no longer in my delight.
Screams of agony pierce through the air, bodies lay scorched and crisp
Running from my growing shadow, pacing fast and brisk.
No matter how much I run, this wildfire can't be contained.
Eyes of fire now turn to tears as I feel weak and ashamed.
I'm left within my own burning rage, So much I can't bear to say,
Abandoned with my own ashes, maybe it's better this way.
Forever EyesIn another lifetimeForever Eyes4 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
You once told me;
'Forever has green eyes '
That felt ' like a gentle breeze
like breath along skin.'
- I countered in disagreement--
No. I believe in contrary;
'Forever has dark eyes
That burn like coals into history'
Behind unfamiliar faces--
The flame of forever souls
Candles in the darkest age.
A breeze can extinguish
The spark of a candle.'
But a gust of the wind,
Can fan an entire forest fire.'
Simply sighs in time.

Blood soaked carpet,
her name is unknown
Pretty girl though,
Light blue eyes...
soft and gentle skin
I will never forget her face
A bit shocked, filled with horror
Suicide or Murder?
This person is someone's daughter
Another person's relative
Those who care, show at her funeral
Once she's buried, down deep...
She will once be forgotten
But, that's already to late
Occasionally she will be missed
Not enough to keep her alive
This isn't one of her regrets.

i spotted them hanging all together
they fake a smile, a hi, whatever
with them i know that i don't fit
for them i'm an antisocial kid
they make me feel more and more alone
i can tell this is not where i belong
. . .
i spotted you hanging all together
you fake a smile, a hi, whatever
no point in trying to be kind
our stars will not even align...
The Boy That Brought HopeHer eyes shone with hope in a world full of darkness. The hope the boy gave her with every word he spoke. The Boy That Brought Hope3 years ago in Short Stories More Like This
She was the girl, who dreamt, dreamt about everything a normal girl was afraid to dream about. She dreamt about seventh heaven, she had always wanted to fly and breathe under water, the power which her dreams gave her. It seemed funny if said aloud but she believed. She believed every cloud had a silver lining. She used to sing, her voice so beautiful that when she sang, all the birds became silent just to listen to her. But then reality hit its toll, the world shattered even her smallest of dreams, broke her into pieces. She could see everything slip right through her fingers. She lost all will to believe, everyday had a new tragic tale, and the razor-sharp words would cut deep into her flesh. She became a butterfly who's beautiful feathered-wings were clipped off, and she was left to die there.
"Is it all worth it?" She asked herself.
She could hear it in the back of her head.
ShowtimeYou use your superficiality like a stage curtain.Showtime2 years ago in Free Verse More Like This
A lovely velvet curtain, passionate red, deep and rich.
Your audience sits and stares at the curtain.
Eager but waiting.
Everyone but me was happy to sit and wait–wait for those curtains to open and for the
real show to finally begin.
You didn’t expect to ever meet a person to peek behind.
To steal a glance behind those curtains.
When I did–when I became appalled at what I saw–you blamed me.
Like I was the freak.
Like I was the one doing wrong.
I was sent back to the audience to sit with everyone else.
Telling others in the audience bared no good.
They didn’t believe me.
The curtains! They would cry. The curtains are too lovely to hide anything but greatness.
You are a freak! They would whisper as I grumbled, alone and to myself.
I wasn’t a freak.
Not then, not now.
I was only impatient.
I only wanted the show to start.
Turns out, the show I was waiting for is one I didn’t pay to see.

"Melfara. Hey, Melfara....." The little girl opened her eyes and looked around her office "Baka. I told you to leave it to me, a new student arrived so go and welcome them. I'll finish the work ~desu"
Melfara rubbed her eyes, when she opened them again the image of her cousin disappeared. Melfara yawn and got up from her desk, then stretched herself. She looked at the clock.
