Witness the power of nature...
Figured you guys were probably sick of seeing calendar posts, so here's something pretty to look at. And recent, too! This was shot during one of the best fog shoots we've ever had a few days ago. We shot fog from this hill all night and were pretty happy with what we got. Then things went insane.

Fog lit up by the moon behind us, wind sweeping it back down into the valley like waterfalls, contrasted by jet-black hills, and an incredible sunrise above it to boot!
Mike has shot this spot over a hundred times and he said this was the best light he's ever seen there.

Can't wait to work on more images from this!

If anyone is wondering where this was taken, it was near Little Sioux, IA. These hills aren't real tall (only a few hundred feet) but with some real low fog, they can create a really unique scene.
Someone will probably complain about the saturation... and to that I'll just say, you weren't there

Dew on a hill, plus moon, twilight, and ambient sunset color? You'd have a hard time taking a photo under such conditions that didn't look at
least this colorful

Also, for anyone who's interested, I did take this image just in time to include it in this year's
Seasonal Calendar
